Next season, Benzema will turn 36, so maybe it's time to leave Real Madrid or perhaps retire there at the end of his contract. However, Benzema has already announced his retirement from the France squad, which he may also do with his team after the expiration of his contract with Madrid. Barcelona are more convincing this season than last season, but we are still the best in El Clasico. Real Madrid won the first volume of El Clasico, but that doesn't guarantee we can win in the second volume later at Camp Nou.

Agree with what you said and I still feel that the current position will be until the end of the season if indeed his condition is slightly better and not as fragile as at the start of the season then Benzema will continue to hold this because in this case Benzema is still a scary Benzema when he is in front of the opponent's goal.
Benzema just needs to improve his body so he doesn't get injured too often because his instincts and productivity are still very good.

The reason Benzema was eliminated from the French national team was due to an injury he received while training with other players who joined the French squad ahead of the world cup. I agree, his relationship that didn't work out harmoniously with the French coach was one of the reasons why he couldn't appear at this World Cup. Even though he is one of the players listed as strong as France, that does not guarantee he has a good relationship with his coach, or in other words his being on the list of players brought to Qatar is just "image". Because it will definitely raise big questions if a Benzema is not included in the squad, after his excellent performances last season.
