Real Madrid should be able to decrease the point loss amount against smaller teams to minimum from now on. They are going to continue the La Liga with a Valladolid game. This is a very comfortable game for them on paper. They lost many points in games which looked easy for them on paper again. But they struggled too much.

With the help of Benzema's return, I think the team will start a solid form again and keep up with Barcelona. In the end, Barcelona also wouldn't win all of the rest of their games I assume. Real Madrid will wish to take advantage of their mistakes to take the lead back.

It's stupid if they don't concentrate on the Champions League and maybe even this is an assumption that I can't accept because in any case the Champions League is the highest league for now in Europe especially with their condition that they need more money with their current financial condition. They know that the Champions League is the goal of almost every club so it doesn't make sense if they don't focus on the champions league so they fail.
As for La Liga, it depends on everyone's perspective if you say it's appropriate or not because this is still an assumption and this has to be proven by Barcelona.

Barcelona are returning with a quite tough fixture actually. Espanyol is not much of a challenge maybe. But they are going to take on Atletico Madrid in an away match after that one. Right after that they have a Super Cup match against Betis. Barcelona are still lucky that they don't have any Europa League match soon of course. As there is no tight schedule for now I assume they would prepare well for both matches. I will be expecting a win for each match. Atletico Madrid are much worse than their old times these days. They lost to Real Madrid home before and I expect a similar scenario against Barcelona as well.

As for the Betis match, I expect Barcelona to play that one with their usual starting eleven. They would fight for this title as well because they haven't won it for 3 years. Xavi needs to make up for their bad performance in the Champions League by achieving successes in other tournaments.

It's a friendly but of course it's a match for revenge especially for Villarreal because of course there were moments where they met Emery left after these conditions.
But this is quite good, even though they only managed to score one goal, but in this case there is no need to be too proud because if you look at the performance between Aston Villa and Villarreal, the two are almost equal now.

even though it was just a friendly match, Villarreal managed to win against Aston Villa and Napoli quite well. but I doubt their performance will be that good when the league starts again, they are a team that is not very stable. In La Liga at the moment, Villareal's ranking is 9', I doubt they will be able to move up and be in the top 5 until the end of the season.

They are friendly games so it is difficult to assess their strength for now. We need to see their performances by the start of their La Liga games. You could more or less sketch this pattern/image before the start of the tournament. The difference with Barcelona and Real Madrid is normally too big for the rest. You are right that Villarreal is doing great at the moment. All the players in their team are performing well. If they continue to perform well in this way, I hope that they will be able to secure a good place in La Liga.
