I don't think this is a guarantee because in any case looking at the state their team is in right now overhauling most of the players is the right thing to do.
Even though the players they have are in the world cup, their performance as a club is clearly not something worth showing.
14 matches collecting only 11 points and being in the relegation zone is definitely a setback for Sevilla and they need to make real changes both in scheme and players.

In the past, there were some under dogs like Valencia, Deportivo La Coruna (anyone still remembered this club), Atletico Madrid a few years ago and I believe in coming two to three years, other clubs might have great chances to beat these giants. Real Madrid must reshuffle their teams with some legendary players will leave or retire. Barcelona still need more time for their young players to improve ability to carry pressure of winning titles.

If you look at the depth of Sevilla's squad, there are great names that shone at the 2022 World Cup, the best goalkeeper for Morocco at the moment, Yassine Bounou and Moroccan striker Youssef En-Nesyri, both of whom fully contributed to bringing Morocco to the semifinals. Then there is Isco, Ivan Rakitic and erik Lamela they are all great players who have played in big clubs before.

Not many Sevilla players have gone to the world cup, there are at least 3 to 4 players who have participated in the tournament. Maybe there is so much homework that they have to finish so they can come back in good form. The position of 14 in the standings last season is still fairly bad, we cannot avoid that Sevilla is the worst club in La Liga, they should be in the top 5. Whatever happens, at least they have to keep trying so as not to fall into the relegation zone.

It is very interesting continue the discussion about Sevilla, after finishing in the top four last season, Sevilla have struggled this season and have kept them mired in the relegation zone. I'm not sure Sevilla will be able to finish in the top six this season, their poor form will continue if they don't bring in new players soon in the transfer market. Sevilla needs to spend some money to bring in players when the transfer opens to improve their performance so they can get out of the red zone.

Maybe the scenario won't be as complicated as we discussed. I am sure that Xavi does not work alone. there are officials, assistant coaches, and everyone is clearly involved in rebuilding Barcelona to its former glory. Some sevilla's player already shown good performance during the world cup. That might become a chance for sevilla to sell these players with higher price and then replace all of them with quality player or try to sign a new coach for the club.
There's no guarantee buying the new players will make sevilla can go up drastically from the relegation zone. It must be noted that if sevilla's performance was the worst.
I guess that the players didn't feel confidence with the club. Some players able to give their best performance during the world cup unlike when they were playing for sevilla.

Performances of players at their clubs and their national teams can be the same or be different. Some players have poor performances in their clubs but always play well at their national teams. In the past, we have a German player, Lukas Podoski and recently we have an English player Harry Maguire from Manchester United or Ochoa from Mexico.

These players did not make too much noise in La Liga and they suddenly have excellent performances in World Cup 2022 with Morocco. They are not bad players but not good enough to be considered as star players in La Liga.

In the past season, Sevilla participated in La Liga competition for the trophy with two giants Real Madrid and Barcelona. They have very opposite performance in this season and when a club have a poor form, it should be responsibility of their coach and players. No single person should be responsible for it, not only Sampaoli certainly.

They got too much lose and draw. So far, they got 7 loses and 5 draws. They only won 2 times. Very very bad stats. Undecided

Sure, Sevilla needs some new players, especially on the defense line. They should get some strong defenders in the next transfer window to strengthen their defense. I think they have no problems with midfield and attacking line, mostly the problem is in the defense line.

Another problem is in their tactic. They don't only focus on signing new players, but they must evaluate the tactic/strategy as well. Changing the coach may be a good solution, too.

Sevilla's performance this season has been very devastated and personally, if you look at their current condition, it will be very profitable if they get out of their discomfort zone because their current position because they are in the relegation zone is really beyond expectations.
They have to overhaul everything in the squad so that this condition doesn't get worse because otherwise they might have to be reluctant to go to Segunda B at the end of the season.

There is no logical explanation for Seville. The fact is that Sevilla already started this bad series last season. Things went wrong when they were in 2nd place. Then they had a very bad series in which they ended up 4th. That bad series was apparently no coincidence, because they have continued that negative line again this season. I also wonder why they are performing so poorly, because not much has changed in terms of player material. Corona can no longer have an impact on this team either. Maybe time for another trainer?

the laliga competition is not as interesting as it used to be when I saw it because only 2 teams looked strong compared to the other teams. if it goes on like this I think that there will be less and less fans or spectators in the Laliga and will be more inclined to watch the EPL.

That is going to be very tough but also not impossible at the same time. I am guessing that it is quite possible for Barcelona to get la liga this year, that is not going to be as hard as Europa because even if they lose some points they could still win the title, but Europa will be harder because losing even one game is a big deal that can cause you to lose entirely.

This year is a bit better than last year because they made sure that they bought some younger players for many positions, and got rid of many older players. Which means they run a lot more and if you wan to play the tiki*taka that Xavi plays, then you need to be able to actually run fast and pass well.

It is really very difficult for Sevilla to even get near top 4 from now on. Of course we aren't mathematically in the middle of the season yet but the gap with Sevilla and the fourth team in the league is already 13 now. There is no promising game Sevilla have played until now. Even changing their manager and bringing Sampaoli haven't made any difference until now. This is making me think like the manager wasn't actually the problem for them. It must be something mental related to the players these days.

Sampaoli needs to make a big improvement in the morale level of the players. This break must be great for the players to take a deep breath and look at what they have done wrong so far. Hopefully they come back stronger and get away from the relegation area immediately.
