I am not sure if we will see a better performance from Sevilla in the upcoming matches. They have won only 2 out of 12 matches. And the main reason for Sevilla's poor performance is their attacking lineup's weakness. The performance of Sevilla's forward players is very poor. They managed to score only 11 goals in 12 matches. And if the performance of the forward players does not improve, then I do not expect good results from Sevilla. And my guess is, if Sevilla can get out of the relegation zone this time, they'll still be outside 10 of the points table.
This season Sevilla's defense has been really troubled, they have conceded 19 goals in the last 12 matches and scored just 11 goals. This is definitely not a good statistic for a team that last season performed well by ending the season in 4th place. In addition to defense, Sevilla actually also has problems in the striker position and it can be seen from the difficulty they have scored so far.

However, Sevilla will probably try their best in the next game to get points. It's impossible to see them stay like this forever without change, so they'll soon get their form back. The players need motivation and Jorge Sampaoli has to take responsibility for improving that every match.

Sevilla's condition in the league is really worrying indeed. They have changed manager and brought Sampaoli for the job. They hoped for this to fix the problems significantly. But as it is clearly seen, nothing has changed at all.  Sad

Actually they don't have a bad squad right now. They lost Diego Carlos and Kounde in the defense line. These were very important centre-backs for the team and their defense is quite bad right now. They can't make up for the weakness in defense by being more effective in scoring goals either. They scored only 11 goals in 12 matches so far. Being in the relegation area while getting close to the middle season might seem scary. However it is still recoverable as there is still a long way ahead in the season. Even if they finish in top 10 they should be thankful for that. I haven't seen them this much bad for many years.

Anyway, Sevilla is already in the relegation zone. Do you guys realize it?  Undecided
To be honest, I am really surprised. How can Sevilla drop their performance very drastically?
I can't understand what's the problem of this team.

It turns out that Real Madrid beat Sevilla in the previous round and in this round gave Girona a point sent Sevilla to the relegation zone  Grin
Sevilla have a game with Betis ahead and then there will be 5 games in a row with clear outsiders - I think they will greatly improve their position and most likely double the number of points they have now.
I am pessimistic that Sevilla will be able to beat Real Betis in the next match, especially since Real Betis this season is very strong by being ranked 4. This is different from Sevilla whose performance is far from expected, because last season Sevilla was able to close the season by being ranked in the top 4. On the other hand, if we refer to the squad changes, of course there are no big changes, even if we judge their squad to be almost the same as last season, but somehow their performance is quite bad this season.

Sevilla this season is very difficult to develop their game. it's not just their offensive line that's bad. it makes them always lose in defense. Sevilla's next matches will face a difficult team. even in the champions league have to face the English giants, Man City.
bad season for Sevilla, they have to fight to stay in La Liga next season. there is still a chance because the difference in points is also not much.

Sevilla's players and management have made a lot of mistakes. We have seen Sevilla's weak attack in the last few seasons. However, Sevilla's management did not strengthen their attack. And their performance was slightly better in the last season due to their better match strategy. Their attack has been weaker this season. And Sevilla's management is certainly responsible for this. They now need to fund the winter transfer and bring in the talented players the team needs. Otherwise, Sevilla's performance will not improve.

Real Madrid will have to replace Benzema but that player might be another one, not Mbappe

I read in the local media if Anceloti was interested in Gabriel Jesus. Since leaving Man City Jesus has performed very convincingly. Anceloti reportedly ranked Jesus as the number one buy in the transfer market this winter. He's 25 years old, I think it was a good moment. They had a long time for Jesus. I think it will benefit Madrid in finances. Hoping with Mbappe is difficult, PSG have made an expensive clause for him. So I don't think Madrid need to expect him anymore.
Mbappe previously insisted on moving to Madrid but a tempting offer from PSG made Mbappe finally refuse after a prolonged transfer drama, so I think that currently Madrid fans hate Mbappe and surely the refusal will be made by fans if Madrid bring Mbappe and this is felt by ancelotti so I think mbappe is no longer in his plans in the future, Jesus performance of course attracted the interest of many clubs but we know if he has a contract to finish at arsenal other than that Jesus who is now Arteta first choice of course no longer wants to go and gamble for to get a main place in another club, in my opinion, it is better for Madrid to find other players to replace benzema than to spend time on the transfer of Jesus which will probably be very difficult to materialize.

And he is not that old neither, he is quite young, just 25 years old and could be bought for no that much money. Will he be the world star they are looking for though? I mean there is a huge gap between Jesus and Mbappe and I do not know if they would accept that.

My opinion is that Mbappe is better than Benzema, even if you don't think like that currently, I am sure you can agree his age is a benefit, but Jesus is much worse in my mind and that's why it's a risk. Shouldn't Real look for someone who would be an amazing star? I feel like someone at 100+ million range type of star would be better. Even if not Mbappe, some other star at that level would be fine.

-snip-
Mbappe would fit good in Benzema position imo but that isn't obvious to see soon. Benzema injury made the team less effective although they have many good forwarders like Vini and Rodrygo. Otherwise, Valverde is doing good and helped the team.
For Barcelona, they have many good players but the team is sometimes dysfunctional unfortunately. It is up to Xavi to fix that.
I think he gets little criticism just because he really is one of the best players in the past, plus he played in Barcelona's golden era. Let's face it, he's been building the team for a year now, the results are naturally good, but isn't that a long time to "build" a team? I can't even guess what they're missing now
The importance of getting good results as soon as possible and not supporting bad ones by the fans, made teams change coaches basically every year or two. Some coaches accepted to be kind of recycled in this process. The result is simply no time to build anything, some coaches just reject the deals and sign ups made by the previous one and the team continues to lose more money.

Barcelona is performing great in La Liga, they are beating almost every team, but you are right that they are beaten by Real Madrid. But we have to admit that Real Madrid is a better team than Barcelona. But I expect the La Liga final to be between Real Madrid and Barcelona.
We can't predict the future. The performance from barcelona is quite good at this moment to be able to compete with real madrid but since barcelona faces so many problems and this will be indirectly affecting the mentality from barcelona's player for sure.
It seems like another club other than barcelona and real madrid can't follow the performance from both. Real madrid is always having stable performance in any season. It doesn't evne matter what change that already happened in the club. This club has a real world class club mentality.

The competition at the end of season will be very strict between both. It can be seen from a small gap between barcelona and real madrid.

Lol, even La Liga is about Real Madrid and Barcelona as the strongest rivals season after season, so how can you expect a La Liga final between Real Madrid and Barcelona?
Anyway, if one of them is inconsistent in the next few moments and often loses points, then the team will be far behind and it will be difficult to take over the top position. So in this case the decider for the team to win the title is not through the final match but based on their points earned throughout this season, but as I said before that La Liga is indeed a competition between Real Madrid and Barcelona so you can enjoy it throughout this season.

I also read about this some time ago and it is reported that now Ancelotti thinks that Gabriel is the ideal replacement for Benzema.
Last season they were blocked because of Passport issues but at the moment I don't think this is easy either because Gabriel is still Arteta's main focus at the moment.

Not only that, Gabriel Jesus still has a contract until 2027 at Arsenal and to take Gabriel Jesus I think Real Madrid also need a lot of money. Instead of taking Gabriel Jesus, I think there is nothing wrong for Real Madrid to keep the priority to sign Mbappe. Because if the reason is still disappointed because of what happened at that time, I think the problem will be solved because this is a long-term project for Real Madrid. Considering the age of Mbappe who is two years younger than Gabriel Jesus, then I think Real Madrid should continue to monitor to get Mbappe when the opportunity arises.

With Mbappe's previous rejections and with the high ego of a Perez I don't think he will see Mbappe again now. with Perez's current condition I don't think he will beg to the same person over and over again because this can degrade the integrity that Perez has.
Real Madrid and Perez don't have to buy Mbappe. With their history and money, they can buy other players and Mbappe is only one of their choices. Furthermore, Mbappe shows that he is not a player is ready to play for the club in general. He changed and now no longer want to support other players. That is a big drawback of Mbappe as in football, you must play as a whole united team in order to win and get titles.

It is always better to have a player who can score many goals and is ready to support other players with assists.

Quote
But indeed, regardless of anything at this time, there must be a substitute for Benzema because considering his age and performance, of course his career will soon end at the Bernebeu.
Real Madrid will have to replace Benzema but that player might be another one, not Mbappe

As for Barcelona, it seems that from the current conditions there are indeed a few good things in terms of players on the other hand Xavi also cannot continue to force to buy players with their current financial condition.
Xavi and Barcelona did overspent in the latest summer transfer even they were in a bad financial condition. If they continue to overpsend in future transfers, their clubs will be in verge of bankruptcy. To avoid it, they must more carefully spend money for transfers and with less budget for transfers.

After being eliminated from the Champions League became a motivation for Barcelona to appear consistent in La Liga, Barcelona could have beaten Madrid in El Clasico volume 2 this season as they did last season.
it still the possibility that Barcelona can beat Madrid in the next meeting. but Madrid will still be dominant. currently, Madrid still has the strength to even beat Barcelona. the previous meeting we could see how Barcelona struggled to face Madrid's front line.
Barca may be able to beat Madrid if they improve the quality of their defense.
The main problem that made Barcelona lose to Real Madrid because of an injury storm due to the Fifa Virus, Barcelona's defense was very fragile after being left by two of its flagship players. Araujo and Kounde had to miss the El Clasico due to injuries suffered while defending their country.
Barcelona still has a chance to beat Real Madrid in the next meeting, let alone the second meeting will be held at Camp Nou. After failing to break through to the last 16 of the UCL, making Barcelona even more enthusiastic about appearing consistently in La Liga, Barcelona must not fail again this time after last season they failed to win the title.
This could be true, but on the other hand, things like this should have been anticipated because there is still a lot to say about Barcelona's players in defense and this goes back to Xavi's scheme.
On the other hand, for the second meeting later, of course, this is still quite long and the chances for both teams are actually still unpredictable because it depends on their performance whether they are able or not consistent until the end.

overall, Real Madrid were more consistent and deserved to win in that match. however. in terms of team strength, based on my eyes. both have almost equal strength. it's just like I said, Real Madrid were more consistent and very solid in form of play and in the end they won that battle.

but don't forget, the role of the coach is crucial to the victory of a team.
Don Carlo, was able to bring his troops to calm the battle in an important match. while for Xavi, the strategy he applied did not work effectively so his troops looked helpless during the match. even so, La Liga still leaves a fairly long match.
On the way later, both teams have a chance to win the title.
I agree with what you said because no matter how strong the current players are, the role of the coach can't just be lost.
Xavi's current condition can still be said to be clean and of course the fans are very happy, especially with Xavi's results bringing Barcelona back from adversity but now there may be some supporters who are starting to dislike it because their performance is now ruined in the Champions League.
Xavi should have some options from his scheme now because when the players are injured like a while ago his performance is not too disturbed.

Barcelona will not be able to beat Real Madrid this season even if they meet again like 3 times. The only time Barcelona will be able to beat Real Madrid is when Benzema is not available in the Real Madrid team.
It takes good footballing to a very interesting match but it takes hard work and dedication to score goals in high-profile matches. The combination of Benzema and Junior does it for madrid and such combination is not available in Barcelona.

In football, winning or losing is commonplace.
As for Barcelona's defeat to Madrid, we can actually review it in detail. but I guess, now it doesn't matter anymore.

Barcelona cannot be said to be a strong team after what happened to them in the Champions League this season and also they have problems with the depth of their squad which still has to find it difficult when their mainstay players are not available. Real Madrid are certainly better than Barcelona, but that doesn't mean they don't have problems with the team. One of the obvious problems now is that their forward line lacks players to replace Benzema when he is out of action. And that's what we see in this week's match which caused them to lose 3 points after being held to a draw by Girona. Carlo Ancelotti must look for players who can fill the void in Benzema's position in the upcoming transfer market to be able to keep the depth of their squad even stronger.

The hacker spirit breaks any spell

In my opinion, football fans can never be satisfied ; I don't expect Real Madrid to be all firing this season. I believe they are going to be a dominant force for both domestical and european competition but I expect them to still drop some points too. Looking at last season, the club was carried by Karim Benzema, I expected them to fortify them with a top striker but apparently, Mbappe failed them. If Benzema isn't playing, they seemingly struggle in some difficult games but I believe they will be alright at the end of the season.

True, it doesn't just apply to football fans, it applies to everything
I am satisfied with my Atalanta - last season did not go well, never mind .. we are doing this well
if it goes wrong, don't worry, we'll try again next year Smiley
in my opinion the spirit of the fan who loves his team must be this
