Lewandowski is a great scorer, Benzema is great at scoring as well but he is not just a pure scorer, he is also someone who can assist, playing with greats before him, he learned how to pass as a striker as well which gave him a good advantage to be in the team. I personally believe that right now Benzema is better than Lewandowski as a player, but as a scorer Lewandowski is the better one.

I agree. He's got a pretty big figure right now, which shows that 44.9% of Barcelona's goals this season have been scored by him. Only Haaland's figure is better - 45%. At the moment, these two are leading the league top 5 and are unlikely to give up the lead to anyone else. They are likely to compete with each other throughout the season

It was a really unexpected point loss by Real Madrid. Considering Girona's having a bad season I just expected Real Madrid to get a comfortable win in this game. But there was just a 1-1 draw at the end.

Girona found many deadly chances to score in this game. Real Madrid defense had big weaknesses and this could have even caused them to lose in Santiago Bernabeu. Actually while the score was 1-0 Real Madrid had a big chance to make it 2-0 and relieve. Asensio's shot was saved by the goalkeeper in a great way. Asensio caused a penalty only a few minutes later also and Girona scored the penalty. He was the worst performing player of the team as a result. Rodrygo scored the 2nd goal of his team first but it was disallowed due to kicking a ball which was under control of the goalkeeper.

Real Madrid are still in the lead but this point loss is good news for Barcelona for certain.

Barcelona's performance is good, especially in Laliga so far. Barcelona only lost in El Clasico and drew once against Rayo Vallecano in mid-August, but other than that they won. The same goes for Real Madrid, but Madrid are much more impressive because they managed to avoid defeat and also qualify for the last 16 of the Champions League.

There's a lot that can happen in the next 24 match in Laliga and it's still uncertain. Interestingly, Barcelona and Real Madrid this season are really competing to be the best in terms of points in the last 12 match, of course they can lose points but this season is very different.

Barcelona is performing better and they have certainly started better compared to what they did in the last season. But as a team, I don't know if they have actually improved or not.
