I agree with you on this. The two teams are in good form and they are currently on the same point but Barcelona is topping the league with goals difference, going with their goal-scoring and conceding statistics (goal for and against), Barcelona has scored a total of 20 goals with 1 goal against while Real Madrid has 19 goals with 7 goals against. Since the two teams are goalscoring teams, there is a possibility for both teams to score each other regardless of the player that score the goals but seeing Benzema and Lewandoski as the hitmen in the teams, we could see their names on the score sheet or they do the dirty job for other players to score.

Having dug up some facts about their history, Real Madrid has not lost to Barcelona at home in recent years so the match could have a bts with Real Madrid winning the game to top the league or Barcelona winning the game to stay 3 points ahead of Real Madrid, it's a derby match the chances of any of the teams winning depends on the performance of the team and the utilization of the chances created by the team.

Odds-wise, Real Madrid overall did seem to be stronger than Barcelona. But then again, as I've said before, Xavi was kind of cautious so they did not get many goals over their matches, even with a team that much weaker.
Don't let that fool you into thinking Barcelona's ability to score looked weak. Moreover, Barcelona's defensive lineup is the best in La Liga right now. Will be interesting to see how Real Madrid's Benzema and Mariano Díaz penetrate it. If they can't Barcelona can push it to a draw or score just 1 goal if they got lucky and hold the games to buy time with their defense.

I don't think Barcelona problem is defence problem, the problem I seeing in Barcelona is that they are scoring less goals and conceding less goals also. This means it is not a defensive problem. The Barcelona staring Lewandowski is not getting as good goals he was getting when the league started. If he could step up with Rephina, Dembele, Fati and others, the team will be able to get good goals. I don't even know the injured players but there's constant rumour of injuries in Barcelona team.

Both teams are very likely to score goals in the upcoming El Clasico match, it is because of the quality of the current players. In their respective last matches, Real Madrid and Barcelona struggled to score more than one goal against Getafe and Celta Vigo but they won the match albeit by one goal.

In the last El Clasico match, Barcelona managed to beat Real Madrid 4 goals at the Santiago Bernabeu.
