Well it was indeed a difficult game to predict but when you talk about chances to convert I think Madrid had a lot of them but they were all wasted while some was cut off due to offside calls by the lines man. But aside from that the performance of Madrid was nothing compared to that of Barcelona in that encounter, I could not believe how the Barcelona side was able to stay calm and wait for the first opportunity and they converted it, while Madrid was playing with over confident and it still didn't pay or made them look good in any way.
Is not that Mbappe is a bad player or his playing style is not acceptable, if his style of play doesn't match with how the Madrid players do play then he had to adjust, that's all he needs right from the very start to adjust to how his current teammates are playing if not the football flow won't be the best and it may seem like they don't have that understanding as a team.

 I too was of the opinion that the game will end up in either a draw or a slim win for Madrid because I truly didn't expect Barcelona to win it but then Hans Flick's boys came and made light work of Madrid's defense, proving that the club's not as strong this season as they were last season and to think that Madrid were able to defeat Dortmund 5-2 just goes to show that there are clubs who make them look special but deep down they are weak and that's what Barcelona brought out.

Carlo Ancelotti doesn't seem frustrated because his side have specifically a chance to equal points with the top rival. Real Madrid have hopes on important titles and the La Liga trophy will just be lesser compared to what they're expecting and keeping all eyes on this season.

Come to think of it, mbappe lost two 1v1 opportunities and 3 more chances in the game that would have earned them some point... He's been ruled offside twice, nullifying 2 of his goals as well.
