I do not understand your optimism based on this game - this is an absolutely normal result given the gap between the class of opponents. In the coming rounds, Barcelona will have easy opponents and games with them will also not show the real strength of the team. Why would they keep a player that they don't want? Although it was Frenkie de Jong that insisted to stay in Barcelona because the club really needed the funds from his sale.
