Barcelona had chances to win, but the opposing goalkeeper also held back a lot. Actually, Barcelona was also lucky because deep into injury time it was 0-1 but the goal was disallowed for offside, which was not much of a difference. We can say a very bad start to the season for Barcelona. Real Madrid also started badly, trailing 1-0 for a long time. The difference is that in the end Real Madrid still manage to win these kinds of matches and Barcelona does not. I think that will also be pass-through data this season. An easy title for Real Madrid.

I do not think that even ATM has any chance. Barcelona is playing decently enough with such a brand new team, it should probably take a while before they get used to each other, playing with famous tiki taka that Xavi improved upon, for many players that did not played with that system, will be a difficult task.I hope that they will do it well enough, it's always fun to watch. Real is definitely good, they have no doubt, ATM doesn't good there yet, but Barcelona is the only question mark. That's why I am guessing that sometimes we should be able to just sit back and watch it, maybe we will see something that we did not expect from any team at all.

Maybe the arrival of Morata will return Atlético's performance to its previous level (last season was a failure for them, not only in terms of points scored, but also in terms of goals scored). Then they will again be able to return to the championship race, although now no one (judging by the odds from the bookmakers) believes in them. This would be great since everyone is talking about Real Madrid and Barcelona, but what justifies the high assessment of Barcelona is not clear, since they still cannot even decide on their composition and are in general in crisis.
Having someone that understands how Barcelona plays is all I asked for and Xavi Hernandez came in as Coach. That understanding amongst the players is yet to be achieved amongst them.

It would be a real shame if Barcelona can't keep up with the other teams at the top. I mean just take into consideration how much money they have spent, how many things they have sold from their club and I am convinced that the fans would go totally crazy this season if they don't at least compete for the title until the very last day. For now everyone is quiet and hopes that it will work out, but if it doesn't I think even Laporta will get into trouble. You can't sell so many important assets from the club and then fail to perform.
If the team can sort issues out and harmonize quickly with each other on the pitch I think a lot is possible for Barcelona this season. At least in La Liga they might have a chance (or better said, should have a chance). In the CL I am not so sure. I just think that the team isn't in the condition yet to compete for the biggest trophy.
Morata's comeback was quite good to say the least. When he played for Juventus he needed too many chances at times in order to score a goal. But this weekend he really delivered. Watching Atletico isn't always fun when you love quick and offensive soccer, but no matter what the team always delivered outrageous fights especially in the CL.

Honestly, I think the teamwork from Barcelona was missing in that match. I really feel like the red card was probably unnecessary. It was a foul but I believe not a red card. But both the teams had a lot of chances in this match to break the deadlock but they could not succeed. And I believe as it is the start of the season, Barcelona will be able to improve their performance in the future. I also agree that Barcelona and Real Madrid should be able to be the best two teams in La Liga.
Anyway, I just cannot get over the fact that probably Sergio Busquets could have avoided the red card. Its suspension in the first match of the season certainly doesn’t look good.

Indeed, in the opening lag Barcelona were still unlucky not to win, but with what the squad has ahead of them their game can be even better so I don't think the results at the start are not a bad benchmark in my opinion.

In my view, than Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid have a bigger chance of winning La Liga. If your prediction will most likely lead to two La Liga giants, namely Real Madrid and Barcelona, then I am more confident that Barcelona will win the Spanish La Liga even though the Catalan team in the first match won 1 point because they were held to a draw by Rayo Vallecano.

Today, many have realized how much value was yesterday's bet (1.8-1.9) on Atlético.
The irony is that I managed to make a bet with odds of 1.8 and for the sake of boost I made a multibet with Liverpool to win. In the end, when Liverpool equalized, I cashed out and actually lost only a little (22%), but still, the thought of lost profits worries me

Nice play from Atletico Madrid, I know Getafe is not a club to compare with Atletico Madrid when it comes to performance. Atletico use their opportunity very well in getting 3 goals from Getafe. It is a good beginning for Atletico Madrid to start up with a hood performance.
In the future Diego Simeone needs to prepare something more for his players, because next they will face Villarreal, in terms of performance Villarreal will probably be much better than Getafe, it will be a notes for Atletico Madrid. Real Madrid is th team that continues to amaze me still. How calmly they play despite them loosing by one goal. It was a lucky opening for the Almeria side and Largie Ramazani capitalised on it real good to get the ball in the net with just few minutes into the game. As always, the Real Madrid side remained calm and scored consecutively in the second half to win the game. Real Madrid is very much up as title contenders again in the league.
To be honest, I wasn't too surprised by the Real Madrid comeback because last season Ancelotti men had some incredible comebacks.The winning mentality of Real Madrid players is unquestionable, they are always calm when their team concedes first. The first game of the season was passed sweetly by Real Madrid, the three points were managed thanks to good teamwork in the second half.
Impressed with Joao Felix he provided assists for all Atletico goals yesterday and also, I think this win is a bit of a surprise result because teams that are projected to be strong in the title race like Real Madrid, Barcelona and Sevilla are not getting maximum results especially about Barcelona and Sevilla. So, with this 3-0 win Atletico managed to make a good start, if they can be consistent then surely Atletico can be a strong candidate in the title race.
It is already his third season in Atletico Madrid and he is no longer a young player so now it is time for him to mature and achieve a higher level for his career. Morata and Griezman scored 3 goals and looks like they are finding happiness and confidence in the club. Indeed, it is too soon to speculate but at this moment with the situation and condition of the team being healthier in many factors, at least the team will be able to have a good and consistent performance because there is not much pressure to carry.
