I still refuse to use friendlies as a basis to conclude that a team will perform so well or so poorly in the league. We have had past examples where teams have done so well or poorly in the friendlies only to perform differently in the league.Last summer, Barcelona lost only 1 friendly game. Yes, Real Madrid won in a friendly against Juventus. They were able to lead by 2 goals until the last minute, after goals from Benzema and Asensio could not be answered by Juventus.
