Real Madrid have a fallible defense, if you check in all the games they played against tough teams in the Champions league. One will notice that they conceded much goals starting from PSG, Chelsea and Manchester City. The Los Blancos side passed through all these challenges but what saved them was a good and sharp Frontlines. They have both brutal midfield and attack, they don't easily Missed chances of goal scoring. For instance in the final were they face Liverpool, who happens to have tough players too, the both teams are very much alike except for the defense that Liverpool beat them a little bit. How could I forget to mention one important in the team that played an essential role, the goal keeper, Thibaut Courtois who saved them from the hands of Liverpool.
The defensive part was known since from the start, there is nothing wrong with that. In fact, it is such a joke that, at the start of the season everyone talked about how they lost both varane and ramos at the same time and how their defense will suck and that is why they won't be "good" this year.It turns out they were good enough to win the league and UCL at the same time. I think everyone was wrong about the defense part being the deal breaker, sure they conceded goals but scored enough to make up for it as well. If they could get some better defenders this year, ti will be even easier for next season and they are already in talks with Rudiger.

I saw that they finished the past three seasons at the fourth place in the standings. This is a big consistency to me but I still think that they can do even better than this. I see them as strong enough to get past Atletico Madrid in the worst case. Leaving Barcelona and Real Madrid both behind can be very difficult but they are capable enough to finish in top three also. Sevilla start to lose many points on the last weeks so they shouldn't lose their focus any time.
