Courtois has played 36/38 games this season in Laliga, meaning he has missed just 2 games all season. Real Madrid have only conceded 31 goals this season or 1 more than Sevilla. So it may be true that Real Madrid have had good goalkeepers this season but they are not good enough defensively.

Next season he may still be Real Madrid's first choice in various competitions, but to be honest he will turn 31 next season. If Courtois is able to maintain his form then I believe he will be irreplaceable at Real Madrid in a few more seasons even though he is already over 30 years old.

I don't think Real Madrid's defense is weak last season. Their defense is stable enough. At the same time they have a great goalkeeper. Courtois is very talented. When Rudiger was young, he played as a right swing back and he did it well but now he is old and is not good for that position. Alaba is no longer young too. I think Alaba and Rudiger will play in central of Real Madrid defense system. Militao will be substitution for them or he can play at right or left side.

I can not say too much about Tchouameni but if he is a strong defense midfielder, it is a good deal for Real Madrid to support Casemiro now and replace Casemiro in future. Camavinga is better with attacking even he can do both but it seems Real Madrid will use him at his best with more freedom to do attacking, than support defense in midfield.
