This is a common situation when there is a competition between "big" and "small" teams. Small teams can have a very bright series of games or even beat a big team in knockout matches, but in the long run they always end up losing because they simply have fewer resources. Big teams have a more diverse squad and they can rotate it, so the closer to the finish of the championship, their advantage becomes greater because small teams run out of strength.

Yeah, I think La Liga teams are getting right into the rhythm again, from what we can see. More important for me is seeing the faces of the coaches, Xavi is finally nodding a lot. I guess Simeone is back to pumping and even Ancelotti is smiling. This more than points is a sign their teams are doing what they are doing.

You really think Betis can ask those two to move over though? Sure they lost their last 2 games could be a blip, but they also managed only draws in the other 2 games in that period (CDR and Europa).
