He just hasn't gotten used to the position usually he has always been placed as a left winger for years and he has always been reliable but now he has to be able to adapt as a center forward indeed this is not his expertise but I am sure over time he will get used to the formation currently many people underestimate Mbappe's abilities but those who underestimate do not know how difficult it is to adapt to a squad that is almost balanced and is in a big club while Mbappe is used to France with less competitive competition he is the best player in France but in Spain there are many good players so he has equal competitors which will test his performance.

Yes, Mbappe is having difficulties because of his new position as a center forward. I also don't understand why Ancelotti put Mbappe as a center forward. In fact, as we know, Mbappe is a very great left winger and this position is of course very attached to Mbappe. So it's natural that Mbappe has difficulty adapting. Because even a player as great as Messi will definitely have big difficulties if his playing position has to be changed. Maybe the reason Mbappe's position has been changed is because Real Madrid has too many great players. So Ancelotti is definitely confused about which position Mbappe will be placed in, and Ancelotti will definitely look at the center forward position. Because in the wing positions there are already Vini and Rodrigo. So it is the striker position that really has a gap at Real Madrid, because Endrick is of course still young and hasn't gotten many playing minutes. Maybe that's why Ancelotti finally placed Mbappe as a center forward.

Mbappe is a newcomer so Ancelotti will not change the position of Vinicius Jr and Rodrygo who are old Real Madrid players as wingers while what Ancelotti needs is a center forward so whether he likes it or not Mbappe must be ready for that position because from the start the coach must have said it and Mbappe must be ready for all the consequences, but in my opinion it won't take long for Mbappe to adapt to the team he is basically a pretty great player in the striker position he just changes his position but has the same task.

One a big problem of Madrid now is inconsistent to hold their performance along the match. The team sometime appears dominant, but then experienced a significant decline their performance. Ancelotti must pay attention to this problem. We don't know what is problem between player, or something happen with anceloti strategy, if this inconsistent not fix it immediately will have an effect to player confidence and cohesion. Madrid have the star player, but sometime many people asked about the squad depth, so if any star player injury that also impact with team and make the performance decreased drastically.

Yes you are right Real Madrid inconsistency is big worry. They mostly play very well but then their performance drops suddenly. Ancelotti needs to fix this problem. Issue might be due to problems between players or mistakes in Ancelotti strategy. If this is not resolved it will hurt players confidence and teamwork. Real Madrid has excellent players but their bench strength is uncertain. When key players get injured it greatly affects team performance. Ancelotti must find main reason for this problem and solve it quickly. If not Real Madrid chances of winning titles will be affected.
Now the problem that needs to be solved is how to patch up the positions left by the core players due to the injuries that continue to hit them. So far, Ancelotti has rarely given opportunities to players who have always warmed the bench, so when the situation in the starting XI is unbalanced, Ancelotti will be confused and the negative effect will greatly affect his team's performance. The season is still long, several players are confirmed to have long-term injuries. Real Madrid need to find a solution to overcome this problem, their best option is to use the January transfer market to find players who can complete the missing Puzzle.

The challenges faced by Ancelotti this season are actually more complicated, where Real Madrid started the season with a number of injured players. The departure of several players such as Toni Kroos, Nacho, and Joselu also made Ancelotti have to think harder, and build new players to be able to adapt to the team is also another challenge. Those are some of the reasons why Real Madrid have performed a little unstable this season, and it must be admitted that it is not easy to get through the transition period.

Ancelotti is indeed quite lucky because he has quality second-string players, so he is able to support the team performance to remain in top form. With his managerial experience, Ancelotti can certainly be relied on in various situations, and in my opinion the Italian manager has faced it quite often.

The match against Celta Vigo is very important to win, where Real Madrid will face Dortmund and Barcelona after that. I am sure that Ancelotti is currently preparing his best strategy, using the international break to evaluate Real Madrid weaknesses in the last few matches.

Well, Joselu didn't make that much of a difference and Nacho should be replaceable. Kroos is probably the only player who can't immediately be substituted by the players that are there already. But then again they were able to get Mbappe and I think every coach in the world would have said that the team didn't become any weaker when a few players leave but in return you can play with Mbappe from now on.

I absolutely disagree with your opinion said Joselu made no difference. In fact, he made a lot of difference, and he has even saved Real Madrid a few times. We wouldn't win UCL without his effort. And, replacing him with Endrick is a downgrade. Even though we clearly need regeneration in our attacker.

Kroos has always helped us control the game. He builds a solid rhythm between the midfielders and attackers. He is a genius passer. I see that none in the squad has someone who can replace him. Losing him has been hurting our squad a lot.

Seriously, look at their offense consisting of Mbappe, Vinicius Junior and Rodrigo and some others who can play offensively like Bellingham. They have a strong team that still is trying to find their best setup. But Real Madrid usually gets better with time and this is what I expect as well.

Real Madrid has great attackers (Mbappe, Vini, Rodrygo). Yet, they looked poor in the last games. This is because they need someone who can feed them, and Kroos often did this. And they look so clueless after we lost Kroos. They need a good midfielder who can feed them all with a great pass.

I agree with you on that statement, because I am one of those who believe that when Madrid is losing it is because they do not have Mbappé up front. For me, the striker who has to get the most out of it Now is Mbappé Of course , Vinicius, Rodry and Bellinham help, but the one with the best goal-scoring instinct is undoubtedly Mbappé, The good thing about Madrid is that it has so many variants that with any Madrid player a dream team comes out and any Combination is good , but you have to be more accurate and win the points.
Real Madrid won La Liga and Champions League last season without Mbappe and this player only came to their club this summer, and had several matches for them. It's important to remind a fact that Mbappe struggled in early matches for Real Madrid too. He is a super star player and will be more important with Real Madrid with time, but at this moment, in his early adoption there, he is not too much important with them. Attributing a loss because of Mbappe, is not closely to actual reason.

Euro 2024 and Coppa America 2024 in this summer actually affected many star players who returned to their clubs with injuries or exhausted bodies and were not too ready for a new season.

Real Madrid have many star players who were called for two big tournaments in the summer, Euro 2024 and Coppa America 2024, and they got effects from these tournaments. Jude Bellingham got an injury after Euro 2024 and only returned to their squad recent matches. The appearance of Mbappe in Madrid, causes internal conflicts among their attacking star players like Vinicius and Rodrygo, this is a big issue needs to be handled cleverly by Ancelotti.

Mbappe has to be more friendly with his team mates like Vinicius and Rodrgyo, because showing his high ego only makes things worse and harms his connections with these attacking team mates. It will not be helpful for his career in Real Madrid in long term.

Because of lack of good strikers and have good attacking players at swings like Vinicius and Rodrygo, Real Madrid will use Mbappe as their main striker. Mbappe is more dangerous at swing positions but he does not support his team mates in attacking as good as Vinicius and Rodrygo. In other words, with his selfishness, the striker position is better for Mbappe individually and for Real Madrid as a team too.

In a team, of course, the performance of all teams determines the results, both from stopping the ball from entering the goal and also scoring goals, all of that is not done by individuals, it is done by the team, last season Bellingham who played as AMF he could be the determinant for Real Madrid in several matches, and Real Madrid itself has many goals from the wings, whether it's Vini and Rodry, we can't make an opinion as if this football match is done individually, Mbamppe has quality but that doesn't mean he has to make the possibility of the goal because there are many gaps that they can exploit in every opponent, and in my opinion Real Madrid lost in the Champions because the strength of the home team was better, we have to realize that Lille was better at that time.

After the international break I'm really expecting a whole lot of improvement from Madrid because I'm believing that Madrid will be able to get a whole lot of their issue fixed already and as they are expecting players coming from injury, that will be a boost on their confidence and psychology to be able to improve their performance before the end of the season.  this deal Ancelotti wants to get done is one which  i see as a good one because it actually does as it will also be of great help to the team much enough, but what so most important for them now will be in trying to maintain a top position on the table. The next El Classico is indeed going to be an interesting and very tough one as both team are really informed this season let's see who turns out the best at the end of the day.

Learning never stops!

I'm seeing this game that none of the two side, Barcelona or Madrid would want to let go of this 3 points for the other, If you could recall,  Real Madrid last Major match was against Atletico Madrid that game end on a draw, I don’t really see that Madrid would want to lose this game to their major rivary team in Spanish La Liga, Barcelona and losing to Barcelona means they have given Barca more opportunity to be the Champions this season.

For someone who wants to bet on this match should consider going for over 2.5 goals, because this is what I have had paid off most the time during El Clasico games.
Sure both team won't want to let go the 3 points because it will really determine their fate in race for the league title, Realmadrid is going to be facing Celta Vigo next which isn't much of a big deal for realmadrid ), for borussia dortmund  game, they've always won them and I belief they could still win it or draw at worse(lowprob of draw), if Realmadrid handles Dortmund without too much stress then there should be some clear prediction towards Barcelona game.
Barcelona on the other hand, is going to be taking on Sevilla (sevilla ain't an easy team but I know there will be some goals to compete), next is Bayern if Bayern doesn't weaken or give players injury then playing Realmadrid could be a little bit fair for them but it's still going to be an hard game for both side, they both need the point either they win the successive match before or not but a draw is still going to favour Barcelona if they win the match against sevilla so the goals might not flow

Indeed, even though Real Madrid has substitute players, but still, to face El Classico, they must have a much stronger defense. And indeed the problem is that Carvajal is one of Real Madrid's mainstay defenders. The most likely substitute is Vazquez who is trusted by Ancelotti for the intermediate replace Carvajal Position.

Source: replace Carvajal - Vazquez

Luckily, I read the news that some of their players will return from their injuries in El Classico later, such as Courtois and Miliato who are scheduled to be ready on October 10th. So, at least this is much better than the current condition.

BTC, a coin of today and tomorrow.

Well, Some people might say that Real Madrid does have some young talents in tone of benches but these players will not be as effective as the first team. It also brings lots of pressure that force the club to look for possible short terms solutions, particularly in high profile matches such as El Clásico against Barcelona. A defeat such as this would most definitely put pressure in the team and maybe make the management push for players in the upcoming January transfer window in case the require them.
In terms of reserve players, the quality is not too bad, but that is for a normal club. As for Real Madrid, the storm of injuries will certainly directly affect the main goals such as winning La Liga or winning the Champions League. If he wants to add players, Ancelotti will have to wait until the next winter transfer window. Before that, coach Carlo Ancelotti will certainly have to make do with what he has.
But to add the desired recruits in this period is not easy. Perhaps Real's board of directors will have to change their stance this summer, accepting to spend money to bring more reinforcements to the Bernabeu to relieve the burden on Ancelotti. Some short-term or loan deals are the most likely move for Los Blancos to salvage the situation.
I don't know why we are talking about short term solutions in a club like Real Madrid. Are they really in short of players? I considered them and Manchester city to be team with a very good squad depth. Incase I am missing something, can someone update me with list of injured players in Real Madrid?
As far as I know, real Madrid is a team of very young players and young players hardly get injured, so there's no course for alarm.

I quite respect the way Ancelotti manages his team, having the first 11 squads always in the forefront and preparing other good players as alternatives too. It shows how he understands the stamina of his squad and where and when to shuffle them. He's a coach that works with much calculations and always ready to take decisions while withstanding the demands that comes with working with such a top class team which sometimes suffer player injuries and instability in the understanding of the old and new players.
Rotation is indeed needed and it has all been arranged by Ancelotti. He will play all the core players if the players are in good stamina and will also give playing minutes to substitute players when the situation supports it. Ancelotti's performance in building Real Madrid is very good because he has been able to slowly meet many successful targets, especially in the transition of old players to young ones.

Top coaches like Ancelotti certainly have had enough experience, he will know in which positions the team needs to work hard and in which positions the team can field reserve players to play from the start. Looking at the current condition of Real Madrid team doesn't give anyone the expression that they will be able to win El Clasico, but we might see a different thing because no one knows Ancelotti plans and strategy that he will come up with on the match day. Ancelotti should not be underestimated because he knows how to win important matches. Carvajal might be out and his absence will definitely bs felt but the substitute is the only option and he might perform better than expected.

Yes but I think people thought it will be a close season as Barcelona has been doing well now. It depended on Mbappe and I admit I thought that Madrid would be stronger with him. Now Ancelotti said that they are having problems replacing Kroos as it now becomes obvious how much of an impact he had on the game. Sometimes you can't see it until the player is not playing anymore. Kroos has barely been a spectacular player, but he had this high level consistency that made him the central of their game. Mbappe is not being put into the right place in the right time. Kroos was amazing at doing that.
Barcelona are title contenders this season, so no one will take them lightly in a match against anyone in La Liga. Until week 9, Barcelona only lost 1 time and the rest won 8 times. Barcelona's defeat was certainly surprising considering their good performance, but there was a reason why they lost. But Barcelona came back and they won another game after that defeat. Leading the standings with a 3 point gap from Real Madrid is certainly not safe, but Barcelona is a team that really cannot be underestimated this season.

Barcelona is by far the most productive team in La Liga, scoring 28 goals in 9 matches. Lewandowski contributed 10 goals, 5 goals from Raphinha, the other 13 goals were scored by other players including Lamine Yamal, Pedri and Dani Olmo.

Real Madrid has some players that are good on their bench but they are not used most often by Anceloti to demonstrate their effort on the big games. He is using a set and doesn't make changes often, though it's good because what he aim is always achieved and what is the used of changing players when clearly he can win the game with the main squad that he has, perhaps the bench ones will used this opportunity to show him their best.

I think one of the advantages of having Carlo Ancelotti as the manager of Real Madrid is the wealth of his experience. For a manager who's the league title in each of the top five leagues in Europe, understanding how football works isn't an issue for him again. He's mastered the art of squad rotation and that's why he rarely makes mistakes with his choices. Some of the players at Real Madrid who mostly start important games from bench will make the first XI of some of the top teams in Europe so you should know that for them to be happy to play under Carlo Ancelotti even when a starting shirt isn't guaranteed is a testament of the Italian manager's expertise

If someone come and say that Madrid don't have squad depth, their fans will come for that person, and it is a plain truth they need to believe in; moreover, their defense is not as strong as they may expect which is why they are looking for possible solutions before the January transfer windows; but if they continue like this, they will definitely suffer at some points because some players will surely get injured.
I'm not sure you know Real Madrid defense for you to say they have weak defense system. As long a Mendy, Rodrigo and Alaba are still healthy and not injure like the rest or the defenders, Real Madrid are good and will fight in any match they have unless they are overwhelm by the team they play against. As long as the defenders will do their jobs and forward do the same, they will have chance to win.

I will have to agree with the post you quote because I also see them not having depth on all areas, Madrid have pack of talents upfront and also in the midfield which to me is the their biggest Arsenal. But looking at the defense they seriously lack depth which is due to the number of injuries they have encountered, Alaba is out leaving them with just Rudiger and Militão as the starting center backs, any injury to any of them you are back to playing Touchmeni in that position. They also have the right back position still without depth for many years now Carvajal who was their only natural right back is now injured. Since last two to three seasons now it has been on the news that Real Madrid needs to sign a right back but they weren’t bothered because Dani hardly gets injured and now with him out they and Nacho who was the club’s utility play has left and they have only Varsquez left as the right back or they use Vallejo. So with this I think we can all se that the depth is shallow and not deep enough
