It was an unfortunate result for Barcelona indeed. They were doing a great job by maintaining their score advantage. But in the 89th minute, they couldn't stop Granada scoring the equalizer and the game ended by 1-1. Barcelona would have really been happy about a hard-fought victory but they were unlucky. I wish they didn't get that red card. That destroyed all of their plans surely.

Barcelona has played quite good from the beginning. I expected them to have scored more goals earlier but to no avail. However, their inability to win this match actually shows that Barcelona is in no way close to what they used to be before. I cannot actually say that the red card issued at about 79mins is the reason for this draw. The Barcelona I used to know can play you 2 man down and still win the match. So, let's stop expecting much from them, honest Barcelona is like every other club now.

Barcelona scored in the 57 minutes, got a red card in the 79 minutes and received a goal as late as 89 minutes... 2 points missed, all teams in front of it were happy and Rayo might jump in front of them if it managed to win vs Betis. the final result was quite disappointing for Barcelona who had taken the lead and couldn't make their defense much better. Opportunity to score 2 goals that shot and were not anticipated carefully. As a result, El Barca had to drop back to position 6 which they had just achieved 5th position. Rayo only needed 2 points to catch up. However, his opponent is Real Betis which is quite difficult to beat.

Unfortunately it's true, it won't last too long in the top 5. The score is now level and Granada was able to turn things around. It was quite surprising that Barcelona had led the match from the first half and then scored in the second half. This match went well for Barcelona, but after Gavi got a red card then Granada performed better than Barcelona. Now they scored in the 89th minute, it's a shame. I am disappointed with the result even though Barcelona performed better than Granada overall. In the end Barcelona had to settle for 1 point from this match which also made it fail to penetrate the top 4 today. Hmmmmbut luck was still on Granada's side in the final minutes of the match.
Yes, Granada was lucky to score a goal that started from a corner kick, Puertas' kick was hard enough to get into the right corner of Ter Steigen's goal.

Good to see Barcelona back again with great performance. Right from the beginning of the match rating their performance is not bad. Already they are leading against granada with 1 goal , and it about some minutes for the game to end, if granada don't work hard on their defence Barcelona will have the chance to win.

There is always an opportunity for the other unseeded team to steal points or win. On paper Valencia is better than Getafe, but on paper Madrid is also better than Getafe and Valencia. So the benchmark of player statistics does not have much effect on the outcome of the match there are only for prediction. For the next match madrid will certainly work hard to beat Valencia. This really seems to be a draw match from my point of view. Maybe Barcelona seemed to be the better performing side in the first half but they are struggling to find the target at the same time. This might lead to Granada's scoring a goal before them. And after that, Barcelona would score the equalizer and the match might end in a draw by 1-1. This is my prediction taking the performances in the first half into account. But I will see if I'm wrong or not.
This match looks like it will be interesting, considering Granada have performed quite well in their last 3 matches. On the other hand, Barcelona are also catching up on points in the standings, if they win from Granada, they will immediately move up to 3rd place for a while.
