Sevilla defeated Getafe 1-0, which gave Real Madrid a nightmare. I expected them to play a comfortable match, but I was wrong. They scored the goal in the middle of the first half. Getafe could have given Sevilla a nightmare too. It's been a good week for Sevilla. They still have 5 points between Real Madrid. Moreover, Sevilla is missing a game. I attribute the low number of victorious teams out of the top 10 to the quality of La Liga. Even Getafe can beat Real Madrid when it comes to a quality league. A league open to all scores.

Much expectations from Barcelona yet they didn't get to win the match.
Real Madrid did real good as we're seeing how, benzema and Vinicius junior has Carried the team on their shoulder's to this extent.
Rayo Vallecano has a good home record and they didn't loss the game..... El classico up next week, although I don't see Real Madrid winning Barcelona for the second time under Xavi.

I don't believe Barca can be held by Granada. let alone look at the statistics of matches where Gradana offset Barca. even more, shots were fired by Granada. I think it's not just the front line that needs to be improved. but the Barca defense has a big weakness.

Atletico vs Villarreal match is very interesting. Villarreal played more dominating with possession of the ball and the number of shots more. left behind did not dampen their spirits. could even turn things around in the second half.
Kondogbia saved Atletico from defeat. but he also had to come out with a red card which he got at the end of the second half.

I don't understand why Sevilla and Osasuna fascinated you. Both the matches were one-sided. Sevilla are a much stronger team than Getafe. Osasuna, on the other hand, is a better team than Cadiz. Cadiz is now in the relegation zone. I won the bet in both the matches. The result of the match was easily predicted.

The problem is that after winning the title the previous season, we expected a good performance from Atletico Madrid this season. We thought they would fight for the title this season. Athletico Madrid are nowhere ready to defend the la Liga...they have no motivation since Suarez got injured.

Sevilla are 1-0 up against Getafe. As we have seen from Sevilla's past matches, they have not won by a wide margin. They play defensively and win by 1 or 2 goals margin. Maybe they will win today's match 1-0

For me Sevilla is a surprising team this season, they are absolutely incredible. The positions of the top standings and runners-up that I see certainly belong to Real Madrid and Sevilla. But for the title, I don't predict because the season is still long. But among them, who is the most consistent in the rest of the season will certainly win the La Liga title this season.

realistically speaking:
- Athletic doesn't have any chance of being champion and even for UCL they won't make it, they now just need to focus on this at least in the top 5 something that will also be a difficult mission

There is always the possibility of a miracle. Maybe Atletico's chances for the championship have already been lost, but the fight for a place in the Champions League should end with success. Villarreal is a solid opponent and the loss of points in a match with such a club should not be regarded as a disaster and the loss of all chances for a successful end to the season. Unlike Barcelona, Atletico Madrid does not have such financial problems and, if the game and results are stabilized, it has a good chance of at least being in the top three. Another question is that Atletico Madrid expected completely different results this season and at least a fight for the title.

I think Atletico Madrid are out of the title race they can't keep the title , this season Madrid and Sevilla are the main candidates while Barcelona and Atletico only compete for CL tickets.

In fact, they couldn't make it. The score was drawn 1-1 moreover with the red card accepted by Gavi in 79'.
This club, once again still cannot show their best in the game match, still some lines to be fixed and made better. It can be seen from how they played against Granada, a small club considered. They had fewer shots and shots on target than Granada even Barcelona had higher ball possession, but they had no good effectivity.

And one match again that made me a little bit surprised is the result of Real Betis and Rayo Vallecano. many people consider that Real Betis can win it. But in fact, it's drawn match 1-1.

The match has ended and the result as you expected, they got a draw (2-2). You are right, Atletico still cannot show his best. They only win 1 time, 1 draw, and 3 losses in the last 5 matches. Even in this match, they cannot fully control the match and play effectively, Villareal was more dominant in ball possession and made more shots. Atletico has some problems in their squad, especially in midfield and defense line. Also, their attackers seem not really as aggressive as in the previous season. Diego Simeone needs to fix these problems as soon as possible if they still want to compete for the title and UCL tickets. One of the solutions is to buy some players in the next transfer window to deal with some crisis in their squad quality.

What are you referring to exactly? Which league is on a break? I am not aware of any league being on a break. Schedule in Spain is pretty much the same as for any other leagues, the only thing that is different between the leagues are some of the Coronavirus rules. Other than that, it is that games get delayed if the rules require it. Am I missing something?

I do not see betis and sociedad staying at this level for too long, the only problem is will Sevilla or ATM budge? If not then Barcelona will be fourth but I am not guessing that they will be doing too badly there neither. Still a champions league entry position and by this off-season they could get players who are more suited for Barcelona system.

That was a rough deal obviously. Huge transfer fee to Dortmund, now he leaves for zero. Well done Barcelona! One question is whether Xavi is a good coach to make big players out of the youngsters. Back at the time Guardiola definitely was one of the coaches (still is). If they want to start over, they need the right management for it.
