Barcelona is indeed good but to fight for the title or champion this season I think it will be difficult considering now I feel that there is no tiki taka scheme in the current barcelona game even though this is the mainstay of Barcelona a few years ago

Real Madrid is in a good position so far because Benzema and Vinicius are in good form now and they are playing well. The Real Madrid team seems to be strong for the combined good performance of these two. But Real Madrid is not very strong. Their defense is weak. Atletico Madrid is stronger than them. They were stable the previous season. With Griezmann in the squad, they look set to be even stronger this season.

My guess is that Barcelona won't compete for the title. I currently don't see them as competitive enough. But one advantage they might have this year is that the the whole league isn't what it used to be. Real Madrid did have a decent start as well, but none of the teams makes the impression that they are going to really nail it.

Well, they are trying to replace Modric last couple of years but in the end always the new guy sits on the bench and Modric has another great season

There was Dani Ceballos, then there was Martin Odegaard and newest one is Camavinga. I am sure I am forgeting some names in the list since it is getting late here and beer has been flowing while watching Leicester - Napoli.

I don't know if Modric takes care of himself the same way Ronaldo does but if so, then at his position and requirements, it's so easy to see him play another 4 more years. I think the problem is that his replacements need not only to be suitable for the team and coaching style, but also need to be able to gel with Modric himself as the understudy.

How ever Real Madrid can use that fund to buy Haaland and later with free transfer get Mbappe from PSG, just my opinion only and lets see before January window transfer opening, maybe if Mbappe not extended with PSG he will sell early before become free.

I think Luka Modric is still in good form and of course his consistency in playing makes him always get a place in the main squad, seeing Camavinga performances are quite good against Inter, I think he will likely be a suitable replacement for Luka Modric in the future, but even so it looks like Luka Modric Modric will remain Ancellotti's main choice this season.

I agree with you. Only taking star players in the team’s forward lineup, though, will make the team feel stronger. And you can easily win against weaker teams, you can score a lot of goals. But the team will not be strong. It is difficult to maintain the winning streak of such a team. Therefore, the team's forward, midfield and defense should increase the strength in all three places. Experienced players are needed in all three places.

About Benzema, yes indeed in need of coating because he will not always be fit. Maybe Eduardo Camavinga could be an alternative for a while. He has also performed well on his debut
