Tonight we are having two games consecutively. Mallorca - Espanyol game is like a La Liga 2 game. They promoted to the La Liga together. Espanyol were the champions and Mallorca were the 2nd. I feel like we could watch a boring game. My prediction is that we will see a draw here. As for Valencia - Alaves, Valencia are the favourite and dominant team here surely. Forget about transferring good defenders to Real Madrid until Perez buys Mbappe, Holland or another star. Real Madrid needs to strengthen not only the defense, but already think about buying players in midfield. Cross and Modric are getting old and unable to play against fast and physically strong players. But Peres needs a star, or better two.

I agree that Nacho Fernandez and Elder Militao cannot be relied on to defend Madrid's defence, because both of them have made mistakes several times.
I've been watching the game they both seem to be right they both don't deserve to be the starting eleven, so Madrid really have to bring in top defenders
if they really have the ambition to win the La Liga and Champions League trophies. If not then Madrid will find it difficult to face a big team that has
good strikers, against Levante alone they have conceded 3 goals. Especially against big teams like Barcelona and Atletico, I am very worried about

Sevilla have a quite easy match against Elche. Even though it is an away match, Sevilla are much stronger than their opponent. As they had a good start also, they should be winning this one easily. On the other hand, I see that Elche won the last head-to-head match here, 2-1. But I guess they won't succeed in doing the same again.

I agree with you on the age problem. I have just checked their squad again and I have seen that their average age is really high. There are not many players whose age is below 25 right now. They are like the new Juventus with old players. Grin

They can revolutionize the team and create a new team with young and talented players. But it is not a thing that will happen in a short time of course. We need time for that even if they think of doing this also.

Villarreal is a hard opponent and could make surprises even vs bigger teams. Until now they have 2 goalless draws without forgetting their tight match vs Chelsea in Super Cup 2 weeks earlier. ATM has to score more than 1 goal difference if they would to compete for the title this season too!

I agree with you. Atletico Madrid must show their passion for the title by getting strong wins in matches like this. Yeah, maybe Villarreal are not an easy competitor. But it doesn't mean that they can resist Atletico Madrid till the final whistle. I trust Atletico Madrid to break Villarreal's defense and open the score gap. They should be able to win this by 2 goals at least.

The third week of La Liga match between Atletico vs Villarreal is very interesting to see how serious Atletico want to defend their trophy. We know Atletico
