How could it be that they are so physically stressed and fatigued? I don't buy this article, sounds like some shitty propaganda to combat Zidane's great comeback.
Do you guys remember that less than a few months ago many here were calling for him to leave Real? Many said his time was over...and look at him now! Running for Champions League and the Spanish title altogether.

Yeah that's just trash talk. I'm not even a Real supporter (Barca is my team) but I never believe in any of that media nonsense. We get a lot of it too, don't worry.

I can't see Real losing tomorrow. Worse they may draw but Liverpool just aren't playing well enough to win this and Anfield is no longer their fortress.

This is Real Madrid's game to lose.

I guess the danger is if he has passed the infection to any team mates.

This is the crucial thing. They are all in a bubble together, all in close proximity and it is very easy for the virus to pass between people in those conditions.
This is really not what they need at this point of the season, with CL as well as a La Liga title fight. If they end up having a few first teamers out for a couple of weeks, it could really derail their challenge.

Official statement from Real Madrid:
''Real Madrid C. F. informs that our player, Sergio Ramos, has tested positive in the last COVID-19 test that he has taken.''

A new shock for Real before a very important Champions League match.
I hope that the corona virus will not spread to other players and stop Real's ambitions at the end of the season.

Ramos is injured any way so he was not going to be able to play. I guess the danger is if he has passed the infection to any team mates. I think Varane & Vasquez are unable to play so Real do not need any more injuries.

By the way, winning the current El Classico is very crucial. Atletico and Barca will be under pressure, while Real Madrid only has the remaining matches against weaker teams. Let's hope in Matchday 35, Barcelona will win against Atletico at home. Then, Real Madrid will lead the standings till the end of the season.  Wink

Very happy that Madrid won. Benzema's goal was incredible, he took the heel. As usual they lost possession but Madrid were more effective at scoring goals. Today Real Madrid looked to be defending more deeply, and on the counterattack. This makes it difficult for Barcelona to penetrate the madrid defense. Now they are on points equal to Atletico but Atletico have had fewer games. I hope Madrid win the rest of the LaLiga matches and Atletico make a mistake and lose. Halaa Madrid...!

Very interesting article in Marca today: ''Zidane's warning to avoid a repeat of Real Madrid's 2004 collapse''
''The Real Madrid boss indicated that his players are already their limit physically, and he is still unsure as to how they will finish the season.''

Zidane is clearly afraid of repeating the history he personally witnessed in 2004.
Real really have a tough schedule in the Champions League and the Spanish league and a lot of older players in the team and the question is whether players can sustain that pace to the end.
What do you think?

I don't know why nobody aren't talking about Sevilla. Now they're just 6 points behind 1st place. Personally I don't consider them as title contenders, but don't you think that they are understimated too much?
Their game with Celta tonight was kinda crazy, so many goals scored. After first half when Celta were leading 3:2, I already thought that my bet on Sevilla is f*cked up already Smiley.

Nobody talking about Sevilla because we all lost a lot of bets with them during the season, drawing especially hurt me every time I picked them to win. And last night's match showed just how unpredictable they are. Still won but had to come back so many times. They may very well be in Europe spot but to win the title? They don't have the consistency a champion needs.

But I hope he has both  UCL Cup and La Liga.
I also hope the same. But if it cannot be achieved, at least Real Madrid can get the title of La Liga. Now, the title of La Liga seems to be easier than UCL because the remaining matches will against weaker teams. While in UCL, the remaining teams should be getting stronger.
They have good results now but to win both La Liga and Champions League, it will be big challenge for Zizou and Real Madrid players. They have tried too much to get impressive results so far and I am not a fan of the club but I wish they will win all. It will be the very last excellent for this generation of Galaticos 2.0 in Real Madrid. Their key players are very old and have reached their limits.

Yep, let's hope all Real Madrid players can be consistent to give their best performance in the remaining matches. Also, we expect no injured players anymore. If all players can be fit, they can play with their best. So, it is very important to keep all players be always in a good condition both physically and mentally.
I think they will pay more sources for Champions League as they are the record holder in Champions League. They got many cups after they touched the Decima with Carlo Ancelotti. After about twenty years of waiting, they won the Decima (the tenth Champions League cup).

Congratulation on wining the bet of course sevilla is a good team they won europa league so many times but they were enable to win laliga though oponents and both barcelona and real madrid were in a great shape in the last years and that is why sevilla team were not able to get into the spotlight.

Don't worry guys , we might have a tittle race until the last games because personally I can't see this 3 teams not battle until the end ( Real , Barca , ATL.Madrid ). Imagine if Zidane wins again both LaLiga and Champions League and then probably leave for Juventus but no one expects Real to win either of them so the shock will be even more massive. ( CR7 awaits ).
Most likely the real winner won't be determined before the last one or two games. ATM is throwing the title literally and dropping points seems to be the easiest thing to do... Real Madrid winning La Liga is very possible unlike champions league imo. PSG, Bayern, City are better at this point.
Real Madrid is getting easier to move after Atletico Madrid experience this draw. This is one opportunity where Zidane is able to win the LaLiga title again this season, it will be very easy for him.
There is also a possibility in the Champions League, I don't care about the other teams being better because Real Madrid are also great. This is one of the chances to win the title again, PSG is currently doing well but we'll see if they meet in the final.

La Liga's point table looks very nice. Atletico Madrid, the top team in the points table, has 67 points. Second-placed Real Madrid has 66 points and third-placed Barcelona has 65 points. The position of these three teams in the points table can change at any time. The team is at three tables with very close points. This will make La Liga more competitive.

It's strange that Atletico Madrid still can't get into optimal shape. Perhaps the coaching staff miscalculated the way to optimal shape. It reminds me of Real Madrid in the days of Ancelotti. Also great play in the first half of the season, and then a deep recession. If it goes like this, then Atletico will still lose points in further matches and finish the season in third place.

Atlético Madrid is feeling the pressure of Real Madrid, you can feel it and it can be seen when they play. Yesterday's 1-1 is the sign they are on the brink of collapsing if they don't find a way to manage the psychological burden of having lost many points in the last games.
It's gonna be very interesting to watch this final part of the season Wink
In the end, I think Real will prevail, experience always plays a huge role in this.

I think right now is not possible to predict the winner of La Liga when the top three contenders are just 2 points away from each other.Surely the team who has lost more is Atletico as they were like 9 points above in the standings and now they feel right on their tail Real and Barcelona. However right now both the three teams have equal choices of winning La Liga this year.

Atletico played just wretchedly! As if this match meant nothing to them... It wasn't team football, it was bullshit! Only Carrasco tried to create something, the other players played like sheep on the field... It's a failure! Now Real will probably win this season!
Atletico madrid play like a small team that does not has a champion target, they played really bad in important match, Statistically, Atletico can beat Real betis very easily.
The draw obtained by Atletico was very profitable for Real Madrid and Barcelona, because the difference in points between rank 1 and 3 is very thin. If Atletico does not improve his style of play in the next match, then Atletico must be ready to lose the throne of the standings.

Sigh yes, I guess they thought they could rely forever on Suarez and his goals and when they got that early one I thought they might try to attack more but instead typically played Simeone's style.

To be fair, they did go and try to attack again and again, but there's just something missing now in the buildup that is very frustrating. Good for me as Barca, but then we lost to Real and allowed them back into the title race too.

Atletico took advantage of the crises in Barcelona and Real at the beginning of the season and their poor entry into the competition.
Atletico was not first in the standings because they are better than other clubs but because Barcelona and Real were not at their usual level at the beginning.
Now Barcelona and Real are playing at their usual level and Atletico have no chance, because they can't play better, they play as much as they can now.
It was simply not realistic to expect Atletico to endure this race with Barcelona and Real and become champions of Spain.
I thought so too, in the middle of the season atletico played very well, thus making them quite comfortable at the top of the standing.
Although currently Atletico is at the top of the standings, his position can still be replaced by madrid and barcelona, because difference in points between the 3 teams be very close. If Atletico was inconsistent until the last match, then Atletico must be ready to lose the championship title that is in front of their eyes.
