They were down 4 points anyway, ATM won and Barcelona won and the point difference stayed 4 points, there is nothing different than before the games. In fact we are one game closer to finish line so ATM is doing better right now, if they do not lose more than one game and win all the other games they will be champions by the end, so getting closer matters to them a lot.

Finally, I think Barcelona still has a chance, they may end up winning the league, which would be funny considering how many troubles they have dealt with since the start (even end of last year) but I do not think that they have a bigger chance after this game, they have the same chance they had before the game, even maybe a little less. ATM needs to lose some games for Barcelona to go ahead, and Barcelona needs to keep winning every game in order to win it as well.

The chances are indeed better for Barcelona now, but the team needs to remain rather focused and they can't afford to drop any further points, I think it will still come down to their fixtures against both Atletico and Real Madrid for the 2nd round, winning both games would almost ensure they'd league, imho.

Mate, two important match for Barcelona and Atletico will determine who will win. Barcelona are in a disadvantage because they have to meet Real Madrid and Atletico. I think these three team still have a chance to win the title, even though you really want Atletico Madrid to do it. Atletico have looked weak in the last few match, have not scored much and lacked consistency.

I think barcelona are in a better position and especially after the performance they are showing in the last games i think they will win el classico and plus they are fully focusing on la liga since they are out of the champions league.

Barcelona is back on its feet after a slump and is now on a stable track 3 candidate teams are strong in LaLiga and Barcelona are only 4 points away, I would like to know what if Barcelona can pursue maybe Atletico's dreams will be shattered expecting this season to lift the trophy.
Provided they can keep the points in the remaining weeks that will be safe for Atletico.
Madrid still have big ambitions even though they are in both prestigious competitions but they will still be chasing both.

Barcelona's performance in yesterday's game was a standout one. That's one of their best performances in recent times but I noticed the defense is still not at its best. Jordi Alba and Messi were phenomenal in yesterday's game. Currently Barcelona sits 4 points away from title leader, Atlético Madrid. That means they still have a good chance at winning the Spanish title this season even though Madrid keeps knocking. There's still about 10 matches to go, if Barcelona can keep up performances like this for the reminder of the season, they might end up winning it.

I must admit that it was a very astounding result. When we take into account that Real Sociedad were very good in their home matches until this match, I was expecting this could be a very tough one for Barcelona. But Barcelona played unbelievably great and completely erased them. Messi had another great game also that he had 2 goals and 1 assist. Dest also scored 2 goals and it was his day too.

Yes benzema is performing well this season he done his job well and he was decissive in many games same as messi and suares but i think that real madrid has less chance than atletico and barcelona since their performance is unstable plus they played a game more .

It's still many more games left but yeah based on last night's performance, it's so hard to see how the table could give way to Real. You need both Atletico and Barca to fall, although they will hope to win every game until the May meeting when both Barca and Atleti play.

I also see that Real Madrid is very dependent on Benzema, even though he is no longer young and playing full time too often puts Benzema
at risk of injury. I understand there are not many pure attackers at Real Madrid, therefore Zidane relies too much on Benzema up front
to score goals. I think Real Madrid must have to get a new striker next season, to be able to replace Benzema. Of course don't buy young
players, but buying star players who have quality that is not different from Benzema, So it makes it easier for Zidane to rotate players,
especially on the front line.
