I have thought the same thing. Real Madrid's burden in the Champions League will definitely affect their performance in La Liga, so Real Madrid's chances to win La Liga could not be better than Atletico and Barcelona.

In my opinion, Atletico still has the greatest opportunity because currently, they are 4 points ahead of second-place (Barcelona). This chance will be even greater if the match between Real Madrid vs Barcelona will end in a draw, and in later days they can beat Barcelona.

I am a bit surprised to know Atletico Madrid isn't qualified for the next round of the Champions League. Not sure if they did it in order to focus on the La Liga title, but I assume they really have no intention to be defeated and ended their dream for the Champions League title.

Yes it seems that its always difficult against these relegation teams they are more motivated and difficult to beat and especialy after their good performance against real madrid their moral was high but in the end sevilla players were stronger .

I think Simeone's men shouldn't have a problem with mentality. Many of the squad are winners or past winners, and veterans of many campaigns. They will feel really bad about losing to a weaker team (Chelsea) but I guess the good thing now is they have no more distractions.

Barca of course I still hope to win for sure, but I'm not going to say anything until we meet in May:)

One thing is for sure now as Atlético will now need to focus solely on the Spanish league. Yesterday, Simeone learnt a hard lesson against Chelsea and this defeat can probably have some real consequences on the overall team morale.

Copa del rey is definitely a possible win for Barcelona, that would be "easy" for them, obviosly its football and we may not know until the last whistle but only one game left with Bilbao as opponent so it looks quite possible. However we are talking about just 4 point difference in la liga as well, that doesn't look that difficult for barcelona neither, we are talking about something that barcelona can do, they are definitely a great team. This is la liga, the league for real and barca, so those two will do everything in their power to win the title.

I do not think that anything is out of reach yet, it is still playing and nearly 30 points left so 4 out of 30 is not a big deal for them, they could get it. Real Madrid was a bit more lucky, ATM lost to chelsea which is understandable but there were easier opponents as well, Barcelona lost to PSG which was finalist last year, Real Madrid beat atalanta, give ATM atalanta and they would have moved up as well.

It is not going to be easy even with the gap being closed right now. As Atletico Madrid are out of the Champions League now, they only have La Liga. This could really help them focus fully on winning the La Liga right now. So we can now say that Barcelona's job could be harder. And there are still huge matches ahead of them so of course it is early to make a prediction which team will win the title. Barcelona also have very important games ahead of them vs Real Madrid away and vs Atletico home. I feel like Barcelona can make things really harder for Atletico as I said but especially the results they will get in those 2 huge games can give a clearer opinion for the championship.

Barcelona need to win and they will show more open space on the field for Atletico to do their counter attacks. As proven in many seasons, Barcelona defense system is always weak when they have to play against top clubs and counter attack tactics. Atletico is the expert team in practice of counter attack.

After yesterday watching the Chelsea - Atletico Madrid match, I would not say that Atletico is such a strong rival for Barcelona. I think in a face-to-face meeting Barcelona can safely win. Atletico Madrid is now on the decline and how long it will last is unknown. Barcelona has a chance to win in the cup. and in La Liga, which is quite a good result for this season.

Koeman has done the best he can do with the current quality of Barcelona players. I think Barcelona and Laporta should give him one or two more seasons to build up the team and after 2 seasons, they can re-assess the work of Koeman.

Yep, if Barcelona is defeated in 2 matches, possibly against two Madrid clubs, it will lead Barcelona for no hope of La Liga title this season. So, it is important for Barcelona to have a draw result of winning the two matches against the two Madrids. Yeah, we shouldn't forget the Copa Del Rey final also. But the most important thing is winning the La Liga for them now surely. And while they are having such a nice form and performance, it is not very hard for them to make it to the championship also. I believe that they will maintain their position and become champions if they manage to take the lead from Atletico.

Just because Atletico Madrid currently have 4 point more than Barcelona, I don't think that will make Barcelona have to give up from the race. If Atletico Madrid, Barcelona and Real Madrid are able to win matches throughout April, then Barcelona still has the opportunity to cut point to 1 when they meet at Camp Nou on May 9. But I am sure that not all matches can be won by the three team at this time until early May. The standings will change I think.

Elche is unlikely to take any points from Sevilla, that are back on track after their derby victory. The Andalusian club are favourites for this game and could win without conceding a goal. Watching it live but a bit boring so far; need a clean sheet from Sevilla.
