The matche ened on a draw, i think this is good for Barcelona. Barcelona is now 2 points ahead of Real Madrid. At the start of the season, Barcelona was far behind from Real Madrid. Atletico Madrid are still 3 points ahead of Barcelona, but they have played one match less. If Barcelona can maintain their current form, I think they will be able to win the title. If Barcelona fail to going to the next round of the Champions League, Koeman will focus on La Liga. Then their performance will be better.

Despite the first half belonging to Atletico Madrid and the goal from Suarez and absolute control and missed opportunities by Real Madrid came back from afar and came out with a point that made Barcelona Happy
The brave Simeone in the first half turned into a coward in the second and decided as usual to defend his only goal, while Zidane moved and threw his cards that helped Real Madrid find speed and high pace in order to pressure Atletico .
Benzema scored but after it came after he killed the fans with an opportunity not to miss, and Courtois was a giant today in denying Atletico for killing of the match before the return of Madrid .

I think a draw would be a bit of a risk, but at the same time I would say playing on Real would never be a wrong move, sure there is a situation in the league right now that shows ATM higher, so that means they have been better this year, but I feel like this is not going to be an example of that, Real started the league very bad and that is why they are second, otherwise they haven't been that bad, which is why I believe it is Real after all and they are not doing as good as they should, and could drop to third place instead of going to first place, which is why I think they will give it all.

However if ATM wins, that will guarantee their situation against Real, at least for a while, it would be a six point game, and I think it is going to be a huge advantage for them. I really do not know which one I should gamble on, maybe I will just skip this one for now.

I'm not sure Atletico Madrid will win today and it would be great to see them draw today. However, Real Madrid seem to have a good record when they play against Atletico Madrid and there is a possibility that Real Madrid will win. I only hope that Atletico Madrid drop point today, this is because I want to see opportunities open up again for Barcelona and Real Madrid to fight for the Laliga title. Agreed with you Atletico Madrid is in superb shape and throughout the whole season they showed a great performance. It seems as time will pass than it get more strong position as compare with Real Madrid and Barcelona. I think Atletico Madrid will get succeed to beat Real Madrid in upcoming match to get more better position.

Benzema's being back to the team will absolutely help Real Madrid on the attacking side surely. Because we've clearly seen that they had many difficulties in scoring goals in the absence of him. I expect a better Real when it comes to attacking but we shouldn't also forget that Atletico also have a beast like Suarez who scored 16 goals in 21 league matches so far. The safest bet for this match seems "both teams to score" I think. And with Benzema, Real can still stay in the competition for the La Liga championship.

Barcelona managed to defeat Osasuna 2-0 away last night. Now they are only 2 points behind Atletico and waiting for them to make a mistake. I think the best result Barcelona can make use would be a draw. But I expect Atletico to win, as I said before and it could be a 1-goal difference win.

A few weeks ago Atletico was in a much better position and had a much bigger advantage in the standings.
Still, it was expected that there would be a decline in such a difficult and strenuous league as the Spanish league.
