I wasn't actually perturbed when the score came to 2-1. Because Barcelona were playing so awesome and Alaves' only shot on target in the second half was concluded with a goal. Barcelona have been great in La Liga also for a long period and I knew that they weren't going to lose their focus after that goal. They destroyed Alaves by scoring 3 goals in 6 minutes. This made me remember the old Barcelona destroying their opponents with huge scores. Grin

Easy 5:1 win for Barcelona, not that often thing this season. Though, when score was 2:1, it was some nervous moments, but we won. It's positive thing before upcoming game with PSG.
Now Barca have long undefeated streak in La Liga, but the main problem now is that Atletico is still so far away and in general, they don't make mistakes.

As always when Messi his best days means Barcelona is also going to have a good day depite the lineup that was dominated by rotation also good substitutions was a key for this match as it needed before their match in Paris next Tuesday .
My only problem with Barca is their defense that is not reassuring with all its elements , they leave aspects behind them that will get them punished if it was found in front of Mbappe.
All in all, a great match from Puig and from Trincao, who took advantage of his goal against Betis and scored today as well, and his moves were key and important alongside Messi.

As for my prediction for Real Madrid and Valencia i think Zidane men will get tge win despite they are not playing at their level expected they are still looking favorites in this game.

Barcelona really didn't let Alaves take more shot today. 5-1 is a happy ending. Trincau and Messi both scored 2 goal and lastly Firpo ended the party in the 80th minute with his goal. @snipie, Never doubt to say Barcelona is better than Real Madrid and Sevilla at the moment.

I was a little disappointed when Messi failed to make the penalty a goal in that match. But fortunately he was still able to score and pay for his mistake late in the first half. On the other hand we are going to see Barcelona and Madrid to play their games and if they ever lose points before ATM ever loses points, they are going to be in big trouble. I do not think that it's this week, alaves and valencia are not teams that would challenge them, so both wins are easy bets to play if you want to get low odds but close to sure thing.

I might agree that the ATM will be there until the end of the season if they don't have a losing streak in their next game. But if you expect Barcelona to come out of the title race at the moment then I think it will be far short of expectation. Barcelona have never lost after they suffered the last defeat in a match against Cadiz, and since then they have only drawn 2 and Barca won the rest.

Soon I just want to see Barca win the game and get back to second in the table. Meanwhile, Real Madrid and Sevilla are third and four. Once again I saw Koeman experimenting with second tier players in matche. Good luck with him.
