Its treu but not forget that atleteco madrid have 2 unplayed matches and i think if they can get 6/6 the situation will be very complicated for barcelona to fight for the trophy...wish that we can enjoy a crazy secnario this year

No game seems easy for Barcelona this season until they have played and won it full time Grin

and this has to happen minus forgetting than Messi must have played well in that match through providing an assist or scoring a goal.
Otherwise, it was a great match for Barcelona. It sort of brought back the memories of Vintage Barcelona with Messi at the front seat.

Today is a good day for Barcelona as they picked up 3 points from Bilbao. I didn't expect them to win so I didn't place any bets on the game, at all. So when I saw them behind by 1-goal at the beginning of the match, I was not surprised since he felt like the Barcelona we have known this season. I'm also glad to see Messi get on the scoresheet. There's been so many bad press about his performance lately. Overall a nice game by Barcelona but they still have areas where they are lacking.

It's been a while I saw or heard this kind of statement about this player or the Barcelona team. Messi with the brace today ways just a reminder of what he used to be but if we are to face the facts, his impact has dropped drastically to a significant point and it was too sudden than sooner. We just hope he continues in this newly found form else, Barcelona is still in for trouble and a better replacement for Messi although, he (Messi) and Ronaldo are irreplaceable players in football but, someone to measure up for Messi in Barcelona should be looked for.

First gaol, what a pass by Messi to de Jong and goal by Pedri. 2nd goal, nice backheel pass by Pedri and simple but great goal by Messi. 3rd gaol was also not bad

Barcelona are 2-1 ahead against Athletic Bilbao right now. In the first half, Barcelona were too dominant. I. Williams scored Bilbao's first goal and they got ahead 1-0 in the first minutes of the match. But Barcelona responded them with 2 goals (Pedri and Messi) and they finished the first half 2-1 ahead. I still do not trust Barcelona much and I think Bilbao can still equalize the score and get at least one point here.

So long story short we are talking about Barcelona and Real Madrid here, they have nearly endless amount of money, of course they do not want to pay too much or get in financial trouble too much, but if they see a good deal, they will definitely get into it, there is no way they will back up, they are not in that bad situation. United is the same situation of course, they are one of the best clubs for brand awareness and they keep making a lot of profit thanks to it, and they can still get any player they want for any money as long as the player agrees.

I agree with you. Maybe this will be Messi's last season in Barcelona. He will definitely want to make this season memorable. But in the current situation, the team is not able to achieve the expected results and Messi is not able to play as well as expected. Earlier there were Rakitich and Vidal as midfielders. Two very talented players. Now Barcelona's midfield and defense are not as strong as before. So the team is failing to get good results.
