I wouldn't call it a war, just disagreements which are completely normal in any organization or team that wants to achieve the same thing! Eventually everyone will have to come to agreements, or they leave if nothing is mutual, but this is normal in any contract negotiation. No need to make a big deal out of it:)

I would agree with you that this is just one case but this is one of the many problems in Barcelona and it shows that there is a big crisis at the club right now.
The president of the club pays the marketing agency to attack the players in the media, members of the management board demand the resignation of the president, affair around Messi,very bad results and games etc.
Enough or you still believe that everything is perfectly normal in Barcelona? Grin

And how to do it? In a team, you can hardly find players for one squad. There are many players, but their level is frankly weak. with such a game it will be difficult for Real Madrid in future games. With all the drama show Barcelona will not end the season in a good way. Koeman won't be able to stay here for too long. New president, new players, and new coach. I can bet about it. I am not a fan or antifan of Barcelona but it is the fact that has happened in the club.

Pique, Busquet, Sergi might leave the club after this season. What if Messi decides to leave as well (that I believe he will make)? Barcelona will be broken into pieces, from their boards to squad. They will need half of a decade to build up their squad and strength again. It is not easy.

The club is in a mess. No doubt this will lead to increased tensions between the players on and off the pitch, which will surely only harm their performances and results. The problem is they need to rebuild, which means buying players, but they need to cut the huge wage bill in able to afford to do that. Of course players like Messi want to leave anyway, and he was prevented from doing so. He surely won't feel that he should make sacrifices for them... they could have cut their wage bill massively just by letting him go. But instead they demanded that he stay, and are now saying 'you need to lower your wage demands, we can't afford you'. The situation is absurd.

They are underdog and will always be underdog .

The fact that typical Barcelona or real madrid game where they are controlling the game but poor on defending the quick counter attack has become a routine there in la liga.
Classic and despite the winning last week for getafe they must be prepare for the nex 6 giornada .. as it's a night mare to face valencia, villareal and sevilla.
Until that time i will save my words of 'i told ya' when getafe dropped down to kicked out even from the european position in the league table .

This is true. It's not just the case of bringing in a load of world class players - that would get you a good team, but not a world-beating team. To be world-beating (or even just Real Madrid beating) those players need to be a cohesive unit, a team rather than a collection of talented individuals. It takes money to buy the players, but it takes time to get them all to work together as a fluid unit. Time is the key factor here. They're not going to instantly be great. And given that Messi will likely leave at the end of the season, that makes their task even more difficult.

You are right. Players are not fully fit at all. Their game play has become slow. Neither team has continuity of play. After a long break everyone took to the field. It may take some more time to correct their mistakes.

Rebuilding in a team like Barcelona is not easy. You can't just send players like Arthur which is young and get 30 year old players and call it rebuilding, that is not even a thing, plus Arthur was at least that good and had a potential to be better. Sure they have la masia which is worlds greatest youth team academy type of deal and I won't deny that, the amount of players that got out of there and became amazing is shocking, however not even they could produce another 2009 like situations from there, which means they will have to get some young and talented players.

Plus they have to be good as well, because if they are not good enough to fight for a title, that is not enough, Barcelona may not be champions every year but they have to be in the discussion every year.
