We all know that Barcelona are better than Monaco in performance, and if not for the red card at the beginning of the game, there is no hope for Monaco to perform what they played yesterday, but what made me so sad was how they lost. Though the cause of the red card was the goalkeeper, it was that Barcelona players tried their best not to lose the game, and it ended up being them losing the game. even with their effort, which was not amazing for them to start the championship league like that, but I know they will definitely get ready for the second game in the championship league because they never expected to see what happened yesterday again.
Stop it. Barcelona aren't better than Monaco, maybe by standard measurement of Barcelona, they are better than any team in Spain right now but since they can't win a single match on two appearance with Monaco, they are not better than Monaco. Even here is a matter of days before they break their winning streak in Laliga, Monaco has just displayed toy the other teams that they can be broken if they can't win their first UCL match.
You should have watch the highlights of their first match against Monaco, they played Barcelona and they played Monaco again in their home, there is no way you expected them to allow Barcelona go free without losing. Even that red card was kind games and they fell for it, so don't act like it's the first time a team has gotten unfair red card.
Please come on, you can do better than that...
There is a difference between being better, being smarter and being successful. It is of course all intertwined, but in a larger number of games Monaco against Barcelona, the majority of the games would either be won by Barcelona or end in a draw. In this specific game Monaco had a huge advantage, but I would still agree that Monaco was actually the better team. I would have expected Barcelona to fight back harder despite being down one player. But they got caught by surprise and didn't know how to handle it.
Yet I argue that it makes little sense to conclude that Monaco is better than Barcelona in general. They are not. It was a perfect game for them and a disaster for Barcelona, all beginning with the red card after 10 minutes. But I believe you wouldn't bet on Monaco if there was a second leg being played in Barcelona. There isn't, so we won't find out. But we will find out who is going to make it to the final round and then we will see who will advance the farthest in the competition.
, on the other hand there are still some matches with less or average goal contribution so far and I think Realmadrid is also part of it as they had some draws recently in their opening games but u believe more goals will still set in even before the middle of the season as Barcelona is quite speeding things up at the top of the table.
