The first half ended and the score was 3.0 thanks to three goals from Messi. I like their style of play tonight, and if they play like this in the second half then I am sure they will reach 5 goals or more.

Just like you predicted the match indeed ended as 5 - 0 victory for Barcelona.

The match come at almost the perfect time, just a few days to the Champions knockout 1st leg fixture against Napoli and just a week to the next El Classico showdown versus Real Madrid, Barcelona couldn't have looked for a better instance to put out a great performance after series unconvincing results.

Other observations are that Messi was really sharp today and is likely very ready for the most important part of the season matches that would be taking place henceforth and Braithwaite also looked ready to spark into life at Barcelona, and there is a glimmer of hope that he won't end up like the likes of Boateng, he was involved in both of the last 2 goals just after coming off the bench.

I am casual Barca supporter and their behaviour in the last months makes me quite sad. That is not how one of biggest clubs in the world should behave. This is just last incident from club leadership that totally lost control.

They invoked some legal technicality and took one of the most important Leganes players while Leganes is struggling to fight for their place in La Liga next season. I am quite unsure how this was allowed in the first place. That sort of opportunity to grant clubs ability to sign players outside of transfer window should be granted only in dire circumstances like when that Brazilian club lost almost their whole team in plane crash. Certainly not when 2 attackers get injured in top club. That is just bad transfer policy. Dembele is almost always injured and Suarez has quite a few years under his belt, surly serious club can guess they will miss some matches.

As you already pointed out, Barca has some quality jung alternatives as well. What sort of message this sends to them. Go away and find some club which will believe in you, if you ask me.

In other forums and news portals people used even words like "horse " club or cheaters to describe current leadership of Barcelona and their behavior.
If they continue in this way, very soon neutral fans and average people will tourn against Barcelona and will start to hate them.
Barcelona was very famous club in the world until now but with such decisions they will loose all credibility and popularity.
If Messi decide to leave Barcelona after all confusion in the last months in the club and very bad atmosphere, I think they will not recover and will loose a lot.

@LTU_btc yea this long term deal doesn’t makes any sense to me, and in my personal opinion this deal should have only been allowed till the remainder of the season but what’s done is done we can’t do anything about it.

Also I was expecting Messi to walk away at the end of the season for free because of the mess created by Barcelona board members, but he’s decided that he’ll be staying in Barcelona only.

Well they can always offer Isco on a giveaway price like what Tottenham did to Christian Eriksen when they really don't have any choice but to sell him since he is on an expiring contract. For clubs with unwanted players this is there only choice for them to salvage any value from the players they want to part with. Plus I don't think that Pogba for the price with what Man United is asking would be a game changer Real Madrid is looking for I mean they still have Toni Kroos and and a young star at Valverde. They are better off continuing with buying young prospects for their future like what they did when they bought Rodrygo and Junior from Brazil.
