The Super Cup final match was very good.We could have seen very different results in this match, but the red card of the Barcelona goalkeeper changed everything.Szczesny's unnecessary red card completely changed the course of events.Real Madrid scored the first goal with Mbappe, but Barcelona almost showered their opponent with goals. Despite being 1-0 down in the first half, Barcelona started the second half fast, scoring one goal after another to lead 4-1.Barcelona increased the difference to 4 with Rapinha, but the goalkeeper's red card cost the opponent the chance to score more goals.After this red card, Real Madrid took a little more control, but could not get points from the match.
I don't see a significant change here although it's true that in the end Barcelona were more restrained in their quick counter-attacks but there was no significant change in the final result and performance. Madrid still have a lot to improve although their performance and determination are not bad but their attacking patterns seem forced and rushed. They also still don't have a playmaker who can really keep the peace in their midfield which makes their attacking patterns and ball flow sometimes only focused on dribbling and speed. The results did not match expectations because although the game of the two clubs was quite good but the score of 2-5 for the final did not look good actually for Madris especially when looking at the process of the goal which did seem easy for Barcelona in my opinion it did not show that Madrid made a big breakthrough because in the end their defense, midfield and attack line were still very much to be improved.
