Barcelona ready to meet Dani Olmo asking price after having 'insulting' opening bid knocked back by RB Leipzig

Barcelona are closing in on signing Dani Olmo this summer as they agree to meet RB Leipzig's asking price.

After seemingly missing out on signing Nico Williams from Athletic Club, Barcelona are now determined to land another Spain international Dani Olmo from RB Leipzig this summer. Per Sport, Blaugrana sporting director Deco has already submitted a second bid worth €50m (£42m) fixed + €15m (£12m) after their initial offer was deemed 'insulting' by the German club.

The Catalan side's present offer is higher than Leipzig's asking price for the player which is set at €60m (£50m) and therefore they remain confident that a deal will be agreed upon very soon so that the attacking midfielder can join Hansi Flick's squad before the start of the upcoming 2024/25 campaign.

In this transfer market, many talented young talents have been brought in. Not only in Laliga but also in other leagues.
