I hear rumours of Barcelona trying to sign Nico Williams who was also very good in the Euro competition just concluded. His pairing with Yamine Lamal was very effective for Spain and can also be for Barcelona in the La Liga. With Lamal, Williams and Lewandoski, Barcelona have enough attacking strength to still be competitive in the La Liga against Real Madrid. I will not give the league to Real Madrid just yet, Barcelona still have a good chance.

Vasquez seems to want to stay at Madrid because, judging by his career record from the beginning until now, he has remained at Madrid even though he has only been a substitute and even though his position has changed over time. This season could be Modric's last at Madrid but even so, I'm pretty sure the impact Modric will make this season will still be very good, especially for Madrid's midfield. Currently, the transformation of Madrid by rejuvenating by continuing to attract young players who have potential is very good but the role of senior players is also still important.

After the departure of Kroos due to retirement and Nacho who moved to the Qatar league, there are actually only a few Madrid players who are senior enough at this time because only Modric, Carvajal and of course Vasquez remain. So by keeping Modric in the squad even for the short term, of course it is a good decision and I am sure that with Modric in the squad Ancelotti can manage the midfield well so that losing Kroos next season does not become a frightening specter for them.

Most will have the same thoughts regarding the star players that Real Madrid currently has but for me, even though I am not a Real Madrid fan, I understand how this club has remained popular for a long time without any problems and even the Ballon d'Or will not be a problem for Real Madrid players.

Real Madrid led by coach Carlo Ancelotti is just rewarding some senior players for their unwavering support over the years. Real Madrid is currently having some of the best players in the world and most of them are potential Ballon d'Or winners. Except Carlo Ancelotti manages these superstars well, we might see the same problem that PSG faced.

The contract extension of Lucas Vasquez has further proven that Carlo Ancelotti is a very experienced manager who always thinks deep before making vital decisions. Lucas Vasquez if we all can remember played a huge role in Real Madrid's successful campaign last season but I was thinking he was going to leave the club at the end of the season but Carlo Ancelotti has decided to further extend his contract to one more season so the new players in the club can learn more from him as well as Luka Modric. With Ancelotti's approach, the team will not suffer any setback when these veteran top players will finally leave the club. Real Madrid I think is bound to have another successful season with the current squad and as a Real Madrid fan, it's a joy to behold.

He comes in very late, like after 80th minute, to make some changes, and try to see if he can give them a win or at least keep the midfield intact. That's all they do with him nowadays because he would be super tired if he kept trying to play with everyone else. On top of that, they need to give minutes to many young midfielders to get them some experience, if Modric keeps playing, even if he could, then it would not be easy for the younger players to get any attention and experience.

This is why I believe that they are seeing this situation as something that they could use him for only important moments for like 10-20 minutes a game at most, and not even that if the game is not in danger. He is not there to play, he is there to share his wisdom with the midfield guys at the team. That way, those young guys will have some leadership they can look up to, and they could learn from him and they could get a lot better in the process because Modric is there to help them. This worths another year of contract.

Lucas Vasquez can perform well when Dani Carvajal absent and Carlo Ancelotti put him as left defender or left winger side, its good offer for Real Madrid extend him one year contract and I think has optional for him get another extend depend on his performance next season keep consistent playing well or not.

Luka Modric and Lucas Vasquez getting one year contract extended because both of the played well in this season, Carlo Ancelotti still need them most often not get regular position but always effective with their performance when getting more minutes playing as regular position or substitutes players. I believe both of them become good guider for young players of Real Madrid next season where they have many youth talented will promote to senior team.

Lucas Vasquez's is an important player that is still need in the squad unlike Luka Modrić that exceeded his contract too, since Toni Kroos as left they have to find his replacement even though it will be very difficult but Luka Modrić presence will help the team build young experiences midfielder that will replace them, it will be very disastrous for Real Madrid to maintain their stand if the both live at once, Luka Modrić have to sacrifice a lot in his one year extension to put together all their experience they had with Kroos for the upcoming midfielder.

Actually, Lucas Vasquez is a good player, but because Carvajal is able to maintain his good performance when he gets playing time, he spends more time on the bench than getting playing minutes. An additional year on his contract means he will stay at Real Madrid for one more season, he must give his best performance to attract Ancelotti's heart and add his name to the list of players the coach wants.

Meanwhile, Luka Modric, who was previously expected to follow Ronaldo to the Arab League, instead received an offer of a contract extension from Real Madrid. Cavrvajal is going to remain a legend in Real Madrid if they decide to extend his contract before or after the end of next season, and if he leaves as well, the club will remain for the young players.
