I am happy to see today news because Luka Modrid has been given one more chance to stay with Real Madrid this season. Of course, after Toni Kross announced his retirement, of course Real Madrid lost one of their best players, but with Luka Modric surviving on a contract for the next 1 season, of course the fans weren't too disappointed because they could still see a player who was full of experience in the Real Madrid team this season.  .

He as really built a strong career to himself and have find a way to love his current situation with the Madrid team because he's a game changer for them and always knows how to stabilize the younger players as well as the squad. I'm sure most Madristas will be happy to have Luka Modrich back to the fore and will look forward to his performance in the next season. Well, I'm not a Madrista but as a lover of good football, I'm also excited for the Madrid club as well as Luka Modrich for remaining with his club in this new extension of his contract.

Modric seems to be staying, I do not think that he will be leaving this season, I remember reading that he signed one more season, probably his last season. Kroos however is already gone, he is retired and I do not think that he will make a comeback anytime soon.

This means that I believe they are going to be fine without them, sad situation to see them go, means that I am getting even older, but that doesn't mean that we need to be upset about it, we just need to realize that it is going to be normal and not a big deal at all.

I am more fascinated by his ability to refuse more lucrative offers from clubs in Saudi Arabia. He has insisted to remain and retire in Madrid even when clubs like Al-Ahli & Al-Ittihad are willing to pay him more than he has ever earned. There were even speculations that he might join Leonel Messi in MLS side Inter Miami but he decided to remain in Madrid. The 38-year-old Croatian had a disappointing EURO even but the extension of his contract till next year will be a good consolation because he has not hidden his interest to retire in Madrid. I think Luka Modrić deserves more than a year contract extension because his strength and quality have not reduced too much. His experience and leadership skills will be valuable to the team. Young players will learn a lot from this midfield maestro.

I am sure that Carlo Ancelotti, being a born strategist and someone who understands the dynamics of football very well, already has two or three replacements in mind.

I think the Croatian doesn't want to play club football for any other club again before his retirement and maybe wants to retire from football next summer which is why he decided to extend his contract with the club for one season so he retires from football as a Real Madrid player.

Here we go!    Modric has extended his contract by one more year with Real Madrid. He is the new captain from now on as well.

I'm admiring Modric's ambition honestly. Every time it feels like "That's it! Modric is going to leave and retire.". But in all those times, he proves me wrong. His energy never depletes which is impressive. I'm saying it again anyway. I think this is going to be his last year at Real Madrid for real. But he will add more to his memories with probably new trophies too.    He is one of the best midfielders in history in my opinion.

Carlo Ancelotti is enjoying his time at Real Madrid and who wouldn't when the team have been in a very good shape under his watch and their might also be some bonuses that the coach gets from the club's president that makes him remain committed to the teams improvement and success. The club's president is doing a nice job for the club by releasing funds to purchase high quality players that has helped solidify the teams performance and the club is also rich so they can go for whatever player they need and most players in other clubs also wished to join Madrid due to the success of the team.
