Yeah, I know the importance of trophies in rating a team's performance but I have stated this before in one of my previous comment that trophies alone is not enough criteria to rate a team as the best among others. There are other aspects that one need to consider which includes the team recent performance. If trophy alone is the benchmark to determine the best team, Liverpool, Manchester united and Arsenal will rate higher than Manchester city. I don't know if you are fan of Premier league but I bet you, if you are asked to name the best team right now in English premier league your answer will definitely be Manchester city despite they have fewer trophies compared to aforementioned three clubs.

In the case of Real madrid, they have both. They play excellently well and also have the highest number of trophies which makes it crystal clear and undeniable that they deserve to be addressed as the best team in the world right now. They don't only have luxurious players, they world classic young players who are ready to give out their best to the team.

It's still the dream of the coach to win the champions League again maybe for what may appear like the last time because most likely he may not be with them after The coming season.

Real Madrid is in the 2nd place for the most richest European clubs. We can understand if Real Madrid has no problem with their financial although they must allocate big amount of money for their top players. Real Madrid is one of the clubs in the world that has good stability in their financial for many years. I never heard any bad issue about the financial of Real Madrid.

So they claim the signing bonus as a tangible amount and ignoring amount it would have cost if they were to sign him properly   
 AFAIK they still need more than congrats  compared to worth the team really worth recently.

To be fair, 100 million as a signing bonus is still cheap, if the salary is true. I did not expected 15 million as a salary at all, that seems like such a small tiny amount, it felt like it would have been at least 40 million, and it's less than half of what I expected. Transferring a player like him, would have cost a lot more than 100 million, would have costed at least 150-200 range.

So getting him for 100, which is 20 a year, and 15 as salary, that's 35 a year cost to the team, basically absolutely nothing at all when you think about it. This is why I honestly think that we should congratulate them on such a great deal, it makes them so much better while also still keeping the team sustainable at the same time as well.

Real Madrid is a rich club because the management of Madrid is very experienced. And the Madrid management is very conscious of spending money. They don't waste money. and can select suitable players for the squad. But Barcelona wasted a lot of money. They brought in some players who did not perform well with Barcelona.
