I am seriously one of those people that actually think whenever a manager gets sacked or leaves his position probably because of poor management and team performance they shouldn’t rush back into getting another job. Taking a year off your job doesn’t only get you a free time with your family but also gives you the luxury to watch your tactics and back test matches that didn’t went well. You can use that period as a form of sabbatical. Xavi to me just like some younger managers rushed back into managing a club as huge as Barcelona with having a good record or probably a pattern they can boost of that they have used in the past and has worked for them.

This isn’t praising Xavi but to me he has done well with this Barcelona side who have more problems than just the one we see on the pitch. The internal struggles the club faces could create a difficult environment for even the top managers. Put this Xavi in a smaller club he would have been on the news now about been exceptional but the pressure at Barcelona is just too big for him to shoulder at this stage in his managerial career. For me he should take a one year break and later come back

I am equally of the same opinion as yours. Xavi should take some time to rest and analyze his performance with Barcelona over this season. Xavi has faced a lot struggles and tussle managing an elite club like Barcelona as a young manager in his managerial career, being able to navigate those top and tough management team consisted in the Barcelona club was sure going to be an hectic day for him all day. But he was able to remain firm and pushed the club to the position they hold today in the La Liga table standing.

For him to return optimally, I also suggest he takes some break and use those periods to take some more professional courses, give time to family and fly out for vacations while he builds more stamina to work stronger than now. What you cannot take from Xavi right now is his high profile already which makes him a high stake for a lot of clubs out there following the experience he has gathered while coaching over the Barcelona club this season.

I remember that Xavi said (even when he was about to quit) that he needed a break of a year in order to rest and recover. Plans may change, but probably for this he must receive some interesting offer. With all due respect, he has not yet outgrown the status of a “beginner” coach, so it is unlikely that he will receive it, he needs to choose some ordinary club to prove himself or wait for the mood to change in Barcelona and return there.

A manager who managed a team like Barcelona when they were in 9th position in the league and took them to second position. At the end of the season, the club had to rely partially on free transfers because they were not financially buoyant, that manager took that squad and won the Spanish Super Cup against Real Madrid. That season he won the La Liga, defeating OG managers like Carlo Ancelotti and Diego Simeone with a smaller budget.
The next season was poor, based on the standard of the club because in a lot of clubs, he would have been applauded. Barcelona under Xavi finished 2nd in La Liga and got to the quarter-finals of the Champions League. What does a manager have to do to be rated?

I know Xavi is not a world-class coach, but saying he's still a beginner manager is what I do not agree with and I don't also agree that he can't handle a big project. Maybe he won't be able to handle the top 5 clubs in Europe but he's not a beginner coach. Arterta has gone two seasons in a row without a trophy, but the whole world agrees he's a top manager.
Offers will come for Xavi and I would like him to test himself, it will only be through those tests that he'll learn and grow.

Luckily Barcelona can give their best performance in this match and finally you win in this gambling. We all know that Barcelona often lost in previous matches. So that experience makes you realize that you have to accept the risk of failure. Finally, Barcelona managed to give victory to its supporters from Fermín López's kick in the 59th minute, this was quite a good development for Barcelona.

That change nothing, whether they won that game or not since Barcelona will have a new manager and new strategy and eventually players will join them (for free as usual?) then they blame the coach for not winning anything (surprise!).
At least they ended the season in the second place..

Valladolid and most likely Leganes will move to La Liga and replace Granada, Almeria and Cadiz. The third team to promote will be determined later after play-offs.
At least Barcelona can finish in runner up position after a series of unsatisfactory results this season and they will start next season with a new manager of course with different tactics like Cavi's, we don't know whether Barcelona's performance next season will be better or worse but if there are no changes in terms of Barca's squad, I think they still have the same strength as this but it depends on the new manager's coaching system whether it will be as good as Cavi.

Yes, they will go to La Liga 1 next season and replace the relegated clubs from La Liga 1 this season and will compete in La Liga where the competition is quite tight, only strong clubs can survive there. They have to show their best performance if they want to stay there longer and not returning to laliga 2.

Atletico Madrid still has confidence in Diego Simeone, it seems they don't want to take the risk of firing him and replacing him with a new coach. I can understand that, because when they have to work with a new coach, there is definitely an adaptation process that must be gone through, and there may also be big changes according to the coach's needs. And all this also cannot guarantee that they will be better, and does not rule out the possibility that everything will get worse.

It seems like they are still quite satisfied with being in the top 4, even though they didn't win the La Liga title, but at least they can still secure a place to play in the Champions League next season. Diego Simeone should also be able to respond to the trust that management has placed in him by showing an even better game. Indeed, this is something that is not easy to do, and I am also sure that he is trying to do his best, but maybe there are problems that prevent them from being optimal.
I do think that's a good idea, it is not a bad idea to trust him, he has brought so much success to that team and I think that wouldn't be a bad thing. I get that it may feel like we are talking about something that was bad this season, but that was just this season alone and not every season.

I think it's clear that we are going to see a much more improved ATM next season as well. The best thing to do would be just focusing on how to get better and would that be something that could actually considered to be good right away? Then that's enough. If ATM does well enough next year, then Diego would be able to say that 2023-2024 was a fluke, and he will do just fine for the long term, there isn't really anything that is a reason for him to be fired.

Barcelona relieved Xavi Hernandez from his managerial role and got him replaced with Hansi Flick who's also one of the best coaches in the world of European football. Hansi Flick knows exactly how to improve Barcelona to become one of the fiercest club in La Liga next season. Xavi Hernandez coming to the English Premier League to do what exactly? Coaching? I don't think he's competent to become rivals with Pep Guardiola and other experienced coaches. We know he's Spaniard and mode of communication would become a challenge for him towards his players.
Xavi was sacked after all his achievements so far at Barcelona, Xavi dismissal is certainly not something that Barcelona fans really want at the moment, but the bad relationship between Xavi and Laporta after Xavi remarks that alluded to the club condition made Barcelona not think long to fire Xavi even though it would actually cost them, so far we know how Xavi huge loyalty to Barcelona has been all this time,  he is coming and bringing significant changes to Barcelona who are currently slumped, although Barcelona this season has indeed failed to win the championship trophy in all competitions but this does not make Barcelona fans hate Xavi and even Barcelona fans love Xavi after everything he has done so far in lifting Barcelona performance which is in poor economic conditions.

Hansi Flick is of course a great coach and we cannot doubt his capacity so far in coaching the club, especially Bayern Munich so far, Bayern Munich managed to become a strong team of the Hansi Flick era but we also cannot forget the depth of the squad owned by Bayern Munich at that time, Hansi Flick will certainly be a new era for Barcelona,  But will he be successful?
Of course it will be difficult for us to say, at the moment Barcelona has bad finances and Hansi Flick  tested with coaching a rich team and has many star players, so I think maybe Hansi Flick achievements in Barcelona will not be as good as Xavi achievements so far in coaching.

It was difficult to accept that this was Xavi’s last match in Barcelona, but if you look at how he comments on his dismissal, it seems to me that he even talks about it with relief, as if in the end he got what he wanted. Since Xavi was fired unexpectedly, there are no rumors yet where he can continue his career, but I think that he will quickly find a new club where he will be the head coach, he has achieved good results in La Liga, so there will be many teams, that willing to work with him.

I remember that Xavi said (even when he was about to quit) that he needed a break of a year in order to rest and recover. Sevilla vs Barcelona two teams entered the field to play today's match in the Spanish League. Barcelona team won today's match by scoring 2 goals. Barcelona team player R. Lewandowski scored the 1st goal in 15 minutes and F. López scored the 2nd goal in 59 minutes to win today's match.  Sevilla's Y. En-Nesyri scored 1 goal in the 31st minute, after which Sevilla couldn't score any more goals.

Barcelona won the game against Sevilla by a small margin even though barcelona owned the possessions but it doesn't enough to help club won the game with huge margin. Although this match is not particularly important for the club, the outcome has become Xavi's final game in Barcelona. Sevilla did not play poorly in that game, but it was unfortunate to allow two goals against Barcelona, yet sevilla made one goal in this game.

I respect Barcelona's efforts this season to challenge for the La Liga crown alongside Real Madrid which is reaching its peak performance again. Barcelona will have a fresh face under the name Hansi flick. Barcelona's under Xavi era is coming to an end.

Xavi is a good coach and Barcelona was suppose to give him the comfort he want in Barca to enable him still stay in the club longer than this. He came two seasons ago and won the Laliga trophy for them and due to financial problems, last season became tough for him in the beginning, but he was able to manage the players and brought the team back to their form, despite the lack of funds to buy some new players. Finally, Barcelona ended in second place this season with no trophy, and I would not call it a bad season for them.

These young coaches are filled with great coaching talents that they should be given time to build their own team for the future, so that they can become more successful than this. I hope that Barcelona gets the right coach that will lead them to winning trophies next season.

That is true but don't forget that Real Madrid started the season without a true striker. It's not like they didn't have any problems, but they did an amazing job buying Bellingham. It was both a great analysis and of course some luck as you can't anticipate that a player will play like he did.

Barcelona instead decided to sign Gundogan, who is beyond doubt a good player, but nowhere near as effective as some of the best players Real Madrid has. I am also not a big fan of Lewandowski anymore. He will always be able to score a great goal as he is a former world footballer and knows how to do it, but he isn't as good as he used to be and Barcelona needs absolutely outstanding strikers for their game. Strikers who can the full 90 minutes at maximum speed.

They have been signing these players who are either old or who were not able to deliver for their former clubs. Joao Felix scores less than 1 goal every 4 games. So he is a guy who scores less than 10 goals per season if you do the math. How is that enough? Vinicius Junior scored 23 goals and gave 11 assists in 38 games. That is good! And he is always a threat whereas Joao Felix is not. The list is longer and shows that Barcelona made decisions that now fire back. A contract with a huge salary for Lewandowski although he is soon 36 years old. It was smart for Lewandowski, but not smart for Barcelona...

With the top 5 already decided, Barcelona are left to either lose or win, anyway they still remain the runner up for this La Liga season.
Barcelona dealt with Sevilla and although it was an equal game in terms of both team performance, what differentiated the two sides is the win and I would have to say that I didn't expect them to win the game since they find it hard to do so to Sevilla, especially if they are the visitors. Maybe this was their way to give Xavi a befitting farewell or it's just that they needed to assure their spot in third place I don't know.

It's normal that in the last day of the season, goals abound and clubs who haven't been doing so well will pick up form but I guess Sevilla are just content to remain an average club. Next season will be tough, I wonder if they can be able to stand the heat.

I am also not sure this match will have a winner because I think, Sevilla also has a chance to be able to win in this match. Therefore, because I was only confident that this match will have many goals such as for example draw with a score of 2-2 or maybe ending with a score of 3-1 or maybe also 3-2. Therefore,  I chose the over 3.5 goals option but unfortunately, the match only ended with a score of 2-1 and ofcourse with that result then I lost the bet. But at least, although Barcelona is still in a situation that is not completely good, but Barcelona still shows its quality in this match to still win by beating Sevilla at Sevilla home.

Xavi Hernandez left Barcelona according to his wishes several months ago, although there was news that he had cancel his intention to leave Barcelona, but in the end that happened.
He shouldn't have any difficulty finding a club to continue his coaching career, maybe he can accept an offer from an English club if there is one, because several clubs in England have not yet confirmed their new coach or maybe he can join Serie A.
Barcelona's last match against Sevilla went according to predictions because Barca not only won the match but they also controlled the game, and this victory further increased Barcelona's dominance in H2H over Sevilla who could only occasionally beat Barca.

I read the news which said that at that time Xavi decided to leave Barcelona because of their poor performance and Xavi felt very disappointed with the club management. But in the next few matches, Barca achieved positive results and put them back in the race for the title. Even though he didn't succeed in becoming champion, I think Xavi succeeded in providing the best results for Barca by finishing in second place this season. I don't know what Laporta was thinking by firing Xavi. I heard rumors that there was a dispute between them. Xavi is a great coach and I'm sure he will be recruited by another team again in the near future.
It would be nice if Xavi comes to Premier league to,he really tried his best for Barcelona, especially this season that he brought them back into the Champions league again, because they were down on the table, but later struggle to get to second on the table.
I thought he was going to remain at the club for so long, but it's sad that he left, and Barcelona are going to really miss him because he brought them this far, brought back the culture of Barcelona, and carried it on till he won the Lalliga tittle with them last season.

Sevilla vs  Barcelona

In the last match of this season, Barcelona faced Sevilla today.   Barcelona should not lose the second place in the table even if they lose this match.   On the other hand, even if Sevilla win, they will not benefit much.   This match is not important for any team.

However, Barcelona will certainly want to please the fans.   Barcelona team will try their best to win. Moreover, Barcelona's past record against Sevilla is very good.   Barcelona team has managed to defeat Sevilla team in the last four matches.   Barcelona will want to win today's match as usual.   Even though it's Sevilla's home match, I consider Barcelona as the favourite. Because Sevilla team is not in good form this season. The team has lost in the last three matches.
Is already 1 goal down against Seville and the goal was score by Robert Lewandowski in 15 minutes already Barcelona suppose to won the game because although Sevilla is not really doing good in the Spanish LaLiga and they are on the 14 possion in the league table and today is their last match of the season so Barcelona will definitely won the game.

In the end Barcelona won the match. Sevilla's players performed well in this match. Made a lot of attempts to score. Most of the attacks are done by team players. But Sevilla do not have enough experienced players in their attack. This is why Sevilla can't score more than one goal despite attacking a lot. Sevilla have scored just 48 goals in 38 matches this season.

Barcelona played very carefully in this match.   Xavi is well aware that Sevilla's attack is not very strong. So Barcelona didn't try to attack much after scoring their second goal.   Barcelona played somewhat defensively. And eventually managed to win the match by 2-1.
People hate seeing legends like Xavi leave. He's a winner, loves Barcelona, and did well with those young players. Young Yamal and Cubarsi represent the future, and Xavi assisted them. Im disappointed. The whole thing stinks. Laporta is the boss, so I hope he had a solid reason. Xavi wont mope. He fights like he did on the field. He'll win at a new club that appreciates him. He'll return, maybe to Chelsea or elsewhere. For now, we wish him well. A wonderful act, Xavi deserves all the success in the world.

For me I already knew from the onset that it would take just a famous name to actually being that Barcelona vibe and football that the whole world enjoyed so much. Barcelona at their peak was never a force to reckon with and now even with all the efforts of xavi, I still can't place xavi as the man for that job, coaching Barcelona is like Carrying a heavy load and burden on your hands and xavi isn't well experienced enough to handle that kind of responsibility although he actually tried his best but at the end his leaving the club was bound to happen whether he likes it or not.
These days most top clubs are coached by young and inexperienced coaches. If you look at the age bracket you will see that some of them are just thirty and above. Xavi has done all he can to manage a practically broke Barcelona. I don't think any coach will perform well when they don't have access to the players they think fit in their pattern of play. Let's see who will replace the Spanish international and the results he will produce. But I know that Xavi will not be out of job for a long time because he will be sought by many clubs.

If you look at Atletico's trend, Simeone should be fired - after stagnation, the club clearly began to slide down. Even their signature all-out defensive play doesn't work anymore and they're conceding a lot of goals. But based on reality (there are simply no resources to fight with Real for first place, and there is no difference between second and fourth place), there is no point in changing anything, at least until Atlético drops below fourth place (which is unlikely).

To compete with Real Madrid and Barcelona you often need significant funding (Girona was an exception, but in the end I couldn't stand it), and Semione knows the team well and knows how to work with the players that are on the team. He provides Atletico with a place in the Champions League, and plays quite well in the playoffs.
Girona was a part of city football group. Girona is now very different compared to the old girona. The fresh funding from city's owner has been also helping girona to show great improvements on its performance in the la liga. Simeone was always a boring coach. He has been there in atletico madrid for many years.
Diego simeone probably will be retire on atletico madrid. The club's owner has no interest to change him following the positive result that has been always achieving by him.

He also helped Atletico become champions in the 2020/21 season, which is not easy, so he will always be valued in this team, he will probably be the coach until he decides to leave the team, at least that's what it looks like.
that's an old story. Simeone is atletico's family. The club's management will never sack him.
Diego Simeone has become a symbolic name for Atletico Madrid. I think he is also tactically successful. Of course, if they get a little better in terms of squad quality, Simeone and Atletico can take part in the championship race next year. I have a question mark in my mind for Girona. The same company owns both Manchester City and Girona. What will happen if they fall into the same group in the Champions League?

Sometimes, i think that if laporta was the main causing for barcelona's financial problem. This is what i have got it from the article below.

Quote
That is according to ESPN, who say that loanees Joao Felix and Joao Cancelo were not wanted by Xavi, and neither were Robert Lewandowski or Vitor Roque in Xavi’s plans for next season. He considered them extravagances of Laporta.
https://www.football-espana.net/2024/05/27/xavi-hernandez-wanted-to-ship-out-4-6-barcelona-players-this-summer-multiple-reports

Disagreements between xavi and laporta has become the main causes of laporta sack xavi from barcelona. Xavi has been requesting the management to sell the 4 players above mentioned by the article but laporta refused it. I totally agree with what xavi did consider the lewandowkis is getting older, felix's performance was so average.
Cancelo is good but club will not able to extend his loan from manchester city without making him as a permanent transfer. Vitor roque is not as good as what i thought.

Xavi wants to get rid all of them but laporta doesn't even agree with him said that they are still contributing a lot to the club. IMO, xavi tried to give more chance for barcelona's academic player to perform in the la liga. This decision may be also helping barcelona to leave from the financial struggle.
Laporta understood it wrong. No doubt that he sacks xavi who are having different perspective about those players.

There are many big clubs out there waiting for him to use Xavi Hernandez's services to coach. If the rumors are true, there is a big possibility that he could go to Serie A. If going to the English League seems impossible for Xavi Hernandez to do, because of the style of play that Xavi uses. Hernandez and Serie A are not much different, but it would be different if Xavi Hernandez coached an English League club, I doubt if Xavi Hernandez trains an English League club. It seems that Xavi Hernandez will wait for offers from La Liga clubs rather than foreign leagues who have not really mastered the game at clubs outside La Liga.
Coaching a team in Serie a is more suitable for Xavi Hernandez. It may be just Milan that could be an option this summer due to the resignation of Stefano Pioli. Juventus is chasing Thiago Motta as the main target, but they may see Xavi as an alternative. Coaching a team in Serie A may be a tough challenge for Xavi to succeed in Europe, because Serie A teams are not so competitive in european competitions. Beside Juventus, Serie A teams have a lack of spending power, and this could be a struggle for Xavi if he wants to succeed in europe level.

Coaching a Premier League team may not be more suitable for him, but it's still possible if he wants to have a bigger challenge in his managerial career. Manchester United and Chelsea are the options, but I'm highly doubtful he will succeed at one of these two teams. There are too big internal challenge in this two club which could make Xavi potentially harming his future career as a coach, if he failed miserably.
