In this match, the Barcelona team was under a lot of pressure at the beginning, and after the goalkeeper received a red card, the Barcelona team started to attack in a big way. The game was tightly contested until half-time, with Valencia leading the way. Robert Lewandowski was instrumental in leading his side to victory as he scored a hat-trick. The difference was huge in the final minutes of the game and Valencia lost control. The bus was rampant after half-time as one player less can never perform well enough, as was the case with Valencia.
Yes that's right. At first, Barcelona had difficulty building an attack because they were also attacked by Valencia and conceded two goals, but after the goalkeeper received a red card, the game started to change and Barcelona managed to take advantage of their player advantage so they could make a comeback. Amazing result for Barcelona, Robert Lewandowsky became the hero of the match with his hat trick and Lewandowski is still fighting to become top scorer. This victory also delayed Real Madrid from locking in the La Liga title.

You could say that Barcelona this year wasn't too bad, indeed they didn't defend their Laliga title and lost in the UCL. but this year's problems are really resolved. Hopefully this year's shortage can be used as evaluation material, even though it is difficult because finances are not yet stable. At least Xavi staying at Barcelona can provide a sense of comfort for his players rather than having to change coaches.

Barcelona won the game against Valencia with huge scores but I believe Valencia lost because it made some mistakes which cost the club three points. The biggest error has come from its goalkeeper when he got a red card caused by handball. Valencia's goalkeeper was doing handball to keep Yamal from passing him when these two were one on one.
That is Valencia's biggest mistake. I'd rather let Yamal score so Valencia can score another goal with 11 players. That's a big mistake by Valencia's goalkeeper. He is suspended for several games following the red card.

The loss to Barcelona meant nothing because Valencia was not even at the bottom of the table. It only reduces Valencia's chances of participating in the conference league next season. I'm very disappointed with the outcome achieved by sevilla since it was missing opportunity after it leads with good scores.
Sevilla can draw against Barcelona as long as they play with 11 players. The red card became a key factor in Barcelona's comeback in the second half. This is the goalkeeper's biggest mistake.

I also agree with some of what you said about Xavi, he is not comparable to Pep Guardiola. But Xavi is a coach who is likely to be better than many La Liga coaches for other teams this season and last season. Not all coaches are able to improve a team's game when the team is down due to poor financial conditions, but Xavi proved it and I respect him.

This season Xavi was only able to complete his mission in the quarter-finals of the Champions League, this has also improved compared to last season. Barcelona lost the opportunity to win the title this season, of course it is a setback, but it is also natural because Real Madrid is a team that has everything to hope to win the title this season compared to Barcelona.
Comparing Xavi with Guardiola is like comparing heaven and earth, the difference is very big. Xavi is very lucky because he is an inseparable part of Barcelona. The trust of Barcelona management in giving him the opportunity to handle the team when it was experiencing a financial downturn has given him experience in handling top class team in European competitions.

I admit, Xavi did not completely fail this season even though he was unable to present a single trophy for Barcelona. He was able to prove his quality amidst the doubts that continued to come to him, Xavi's performance was not too bad because he succeeded in bringing Barcelona to the quarter-finals of the UCL and he is trying to make his team finish in runner-up position in La Liga.

Barcelona vs Valencia was really interesting match because Barcelona managed to win with fairly big score of 4 - 2 and what was interesting was not the victory but Lewandowski who scored 3 goals.
Lewandowski hatrick made everyone happy because Valencia was not weak team because if they didn't get red card at the end of the first half then the second half could provide fierce resistance.
In the first half, Valencia really seemed to dominate and could play well because they also scored two goals in the first half, if there were no red cards, it might be difficult for Barcelona to win.

Previously there was news that Lewandowski would leave Barcelona, but after some time he stated that he would stay and really wanted to be part of Barcelona in fighting for the title next season.

I bet on Barcelona to win this match. But at the end of the first half I had enough doubts whether Barcelona could win the match. Because despite Barcelona performing well in the first half, they were trailing 2-1. However, in the second half, the Barcelona team made an excellent comeback. Lewandowski's hat-trick gave Barcelona an impressive 4-2 victory.

In the second half we only saw the dominance of the Barcelona players. Barcelona have 80% ball possession in this match. And made a total of 27 shots. Despite dominating the entire match, Barcelona conceded two goals due to mistakes by defenders. Barcelona's defense will need to be strengthened next season if the team wants to challenge for the title.

I think this would really be an even fight if only Valencia hadn't received that red card, a blunder that ultimately became a nightmare for Valencia. Both goalkeepers made blunders, but Mamardashvili didn't just make a mistake, because what he did was indeed a stupid decision. After that red card, the situation completely changed, where Barcelona completely controlled the game and it looked like Lewandowski really knew what to do with the advantage his team had.

There is an incident that I think Barcelona should pay attention to. Once again, Araujo took an action that he should not have done. His aggressive play tends to turn into a blunder. This is like an action that was detrimental to his team when playing against PSG in the Champions League.

I disagree. Xavi is not the best coach ever. He is a pretty weak guy who got lucky that Barcelona is more or less part of his name. As a player, he was an amazing midfielder, but I never saw him as someone who is a good coach. I see how a lot of people are celebrating him, but please compare him to Gurdiola. No way would he ever be able to be mentioned in one breath with Guardiola. Xavi is the worst case, but sadly they need him.
It's true, currently Xavi doesn't deserve to be called the best coach ever. However, it is possible that in the future Xavi will become a very great and accomplished coach. The reason is, currently Xavi is still relatively young as a football coach.
So it is natural that currently Xavi is still not good and has many shortcomings in coaching his club (Barcelona). Because as far as I know, Xavi started his career as a coach in 2019. So up to now, that means Xavi has only been a football coach for 5 years. So having been a football coach for approximately 5 years, Xavi certainly doesn't have much experience. Moreover, with experience coaching European clubs, Xavi certainly doesn't have much experience. The reason is, during his career as a football coach, Barcelona was the first club he coached. Because previously Xavi was a coach at a club from Qatar (Al Sadd). But even though Xavi's experience as a coach is still limited, I think Xavi can be said to be a pretty good coach. The reason is, last season Xavi successfully brought Barcelona to become Laliga champions.

And if you compare Xavi with Guardiola, it is clear that Guardiola is superior. The reason is, Guardiola already has a wealth of experience in the world of football coaching. So I think comparing Xavi with Guardiola is not appropriate. The reason is that Xavi is a new coach, while Guardiola is an old coach who already has a lot of experience.

Barcelona played very well against Valencia even though statistically Barcelona had a bigger chance in that match so it's natural that this victory was very deserved by Barcelina and that's as it should be. Robert Lewandowski scored this hat trick which was a good start for Lewandowski who hasn't been productive for quite a long time but it looks like he has found his rhythm again. If he continues to perform well during Barcelona matches, Barcelona might still be at the top level because he has been the main factor in Barcelona's success so far. But fortunately, Valencia lost 1 player in the first half, making it easier for Barcelona to win the match by creating 2 additional goals in the second half.

The reason is that the victory that Barcelona achieved was very important to maintain second position, Girona tried to take over second place when Barcelona suffered a defeat against Real Madrid but Barcelona still had a 2 point difference from Girona so Barcelona could still fight. Even though being in 2nd and 3rd place doesn't change anything, they will also both appear in the Champions League next season so it doesn't matter to me if Barcelona or Girona are where they are now ranked 2nd and 3rd, it's the same.

Barcelona scored the first goal at 22 minutes without any red card from their opponent, but Valencia equalized the goal and still added one goal to lead the match in the first half but Barcelona was still strong despite the opportunity  Valencia got to achieved all those goals. Barcelona changed the match in the second half to equalized the goals to make their fans happy and to have hope that they are going to achieve victory from their home to defeat Valencia, which they did to added another one goal to defeated Valencia 4-2  to embraced the three points. I think, Valencia would have make the match draw if not the red card that happened in the second half, because they took a good possession in the match to frustrate Barcelona effort but the red card made them to failed at the end of the match.

Barcelona tried hard to win this match, of course because Xavi's plan had the potential to fail due to the good performance shown by Valencia in defense and counter attacks. Barcelona have now equalized, but they are aiming to win by dominating attacks and possession of the ball. Valencia will only defend and counterattack when Barcelona loses the ball, but even that is very dangerous.

Barcelona still has a chance to win this match because they really tried through the many opportunities they created. It's true, currently Barcelona is having a hard time scoring a third goal because of Valencia's good defense, but I'm sure they will score soon.
Xavi Hernandez have always persuade his players to do their best because it's never easy watching them becoming the very best team against oppositions. Xavi Hernandez should encourage his players because they're having slim chances of winning games when it comes to average teams. Valencia was leading but due to the Red card given to their goal keeper before the end of first halve, that was the beginning of their weakness. Barcelona won their game against Valencia. It was a tough night at Camp Nou because the visitors came prepared and deliver an excellent job towards the hosts.

Xavi is a good manager and he has been in charge of Barcelona for a long time although his controversial decisions in some cases surprised us but still considering Barcelona's performance at the moment we have to accept that Xavi has managed to bring this team from a bad situation to a good one. Even though Xabi is a good manager, it would be foolish to compare this manager with legendary managers because some managers are far ahead of others in terms of categories. Pep Guardiwala, Zinedine Zidane, Luis Enrique and other managers have a different place and are definitely the best managers of all time. He has not been in charge for long so if we trust this Spanish and former Barcelona footballer Xabi he will surely develop his coaching career.

Real Madrid being safe at the top of the league is indeed an advantage for them to give full focus on their Champions League semi-final game. The rotational decision can give benefits to keep the players staying fit, but Ancelotti needs to make sure the players not losing their rhythm of their game without gametime for some times. Bayern can also give full focus on the semi-final because their remaining games in Bundesliga are meaningless.

with the points that Real Madrid currently has, it will certainly make Real Madrid safely sit at the top of the standings because currently the difference with Barcelona and Girona is of course a big difference. I personally agree with you. Of course, during the later match in the Champions League, it will definitely change Real's mentality. madrid are safe and will definitely focus on the Champions League and they will fight to win against Bayern.

I think Bayern and Real Madrid will perform as well as possible and will fight hard to win the prestigious match in the Champions League and I also think Bayern will definitely perform well in the UCL because in the Bundesliga of course their hopes of becoming champions are small because of the large point difference with Leverkusen, however In the UCL, of course the hope of becoming Champions is wide open for Bayern, so we'll see what the match is like and of course it will be an exciting match and of course it will be difficult for us to carry predict who will win and have the right to qualify for the Champions League final.

Latest results and temporary rankings of top clubs in La Liga, shows that Girona almost get a position in top four. They have 71 points so far and have 13 points more than Athletic Club (at the fifth position). The league has only 5 more matches and Girona need to win one more match, to maintain their 13 points more than Athletic Club, to be eligible for Champions League next season.

Let me congratulate Girona in advance for this surprising success in their club history. A first ever season in Champions League for Girona is coming.

With 71 points, they have only 2 points less than Barcelona and a challenge for them is taking over the second position from Barcelona in remaining five matches.

Even though he has not yet been hired as Barcelona's new coach, the club already has a strong squad and i think that xavi is not even building the club from the bottom here. He came when barcelona has already good squad. Calling Xavi the best coach in the world seems strange. I'm still wondering what motivates people to call Xavi a world-class coach when he hasn't won many trophies with Barcelona and it tells me that if people are getting delusional.
Comparing him to the best coach in the world makes no sense. As you can see, if Guardiola is used as a measure of whether a coach is worthy of being referred to as one of the best in the world. Xavi needs to surpass guardiola's trophy in order to be called even better than guardiola. It's impossibke

Xavi is still relatively new, and I believe Xabi Alonso will be able to outperform him. It's too far to compare Xavi and Guardiola. I'm not sure what people are thinking, but have they ever considered making such a ridiculous comparison? they are being too fanatic when supporting their favorite players. That ridiculous comparison has proven it

I won't even consider it as a comparison. Guardiola is too good to compare to Xavi. Even Pep won the Champions League while Xavi was still a Barcelona player.

I agree with you, if not for the red card Barcelona could not have taken control of the game, it wasn't one sided as we all expected and these days Barcelona have lost that energy in them like the way they used to dominate their opponent making the game uncomfortable for them, I think it started after they were eliminated from the UCL. They don't have that complete squad to do that damage to opponents and without the red card it could have been a game Valencia would have won or they end up playing a draw.
I wonder why Xavi hardly start up the creator of chances and he brings him on at the last minute or let's say 80mins+ in some games, talking about Joao Felix. I feel Xavi haven't noticed that Joao Felix's presence do cause a lot of pressure to oppositions in every game he starts, in as much as he is a loaned player I think that chance should be given to him if Barca wants to win a game without this same pressure they had against Valencia.

This victory will also bring Barcelona back to winning ways. I think Barcelona will be able to close the season in second place because they will maintain second place from the pressure put on them by Girona. Btw Lewandowksi managed to record 14 goals this season and that is certainly quite good considering he missed many matches due to injury this season.
The victory over Valencia last night good capital for Barcelona to finish on 2nd standings place this season behind two points remaining awhile from Girona, but the 2nd place is not actually secure yet behind Girona has home match against Barcelona and advantage for home team to secure three points. I think possibilities or not reach 2nd standings place for Barcelona depend on the match result against Girona, if can take one or three points automatically make Barcelona on the higher chance for securing 2nd place but if loss against  Girona get difficult to reach 2nd position standings.

Robert Lewandowski finally make hattrick again, have been longer time and last night scoring three goals make him reach 14 goals in La Liga this season, still has chance for him get La Liga top scorer in this season with three goals remaining from Girona striker had scored 19 goals.

The problem is that they are still having problems in attack because looking at what happened in the first half this time i think we can see that even though their possession was very good and but their finishing was poor even for finishing in the first half Valencia was much better.
In the second half, there are still some options for players like Joao Felix or Pedri that Xavi can bring in to add to the attacking power that Barcelona has now because by looking at what happened in this first half i think they are still quite monotonous in terms of attacks carried out .
At the start of the second half there was hope as Lewandowski scored a quick goal to make it 2-2 but by the end of the second half the score still hadn't increased.

Barcelona continued to try to attack but Valencia's defense was quite tight even though they continued to be attacked from every side but indeed they were still quite solid and I quite appreciated what they did in today's match. But with this result it certainly won't be too favorable for Barcelona because however even though they have lost the momentum to get the trophy but they have to secure the current 2nd position which Girona can still overtake and indeed a draw score with the advantage of players is certainly not too expected of them because apart from accelerating Madrid to become champions this also makes them hassle to maintain the runner up this season.
Even so, there is still enough time left where they are just entering the crucial phase where the end of the match sometimes becomes a momentum that can be maximized. Now it depends on how hard they work because if this is a draw I think it's a loss for Barcelona although I really like this scheme because Madrid will be quick to party Grin
Madrid had to postpone their party as the result went in favour of Barcelona in today's match.
The numerical advantage was well maximised although it seemed a little too late as we needed to wait until the crucial time for Barcelona to get their hands on it.

The hat trick was created by Lewandowski in today's match and as I recall this is the first hat trick he has scored this season CMIIW. but indeed this result is a good thing because with this victory it keeps their hopes of being in the runner up this season open and at the moment the scenario of Madrid winning faster still seems to happen, it's just that it still has to be postponed because even though Barcelona is still losing momentum but at least Madrid must win 2 more matches before ensuring themselves to be truly recognized as champions this season but sooner or later it will definitely happen.

There's no doubt Madrid would have that party. The real battle is for the runner up position between the two catalonian team. Girona rose as a prominent team at the start of the league and kept on losing steam while Barcelona proved small problems and controversies won't bring the team down. They won the last season, reached quaterfinals of Champions league and would qualify for another.
Valencia sure is a tough team to win against but the real deal that may decide the second position is the ultimate match between Barcelona and Girona on May 4th.
