Some people were shocked by the Barcelona game, but those of us who have been paying close attention have seen this kind of possibility for a while. They know how to fight and are good at it; they just need to use it more often. They could be a strong contender if they can get rid of those ups and downs. Real Madrid is a totally different animal. But the way Girona is playing now, with that underdog spirit fueling them? I'm not going to rule them out just yet
I don't have many expectations for Barcelona at the moment, especially as several of their mainstay players are suffering from injuries. In the match against Girona, Michel's team was able to beat Barcelona with a score of 4-2. Even though the competition is still open in the runner up rankings, La Liga is no longer exciting for me except when it involves betting. referring to Barcelona, I don't have much to say, other than I agree with Xavi's decision to end his career at Camp Nou. Maybe with another coach, for example Hansi Flick, as his replacement, Barcelona can develop much better next season. In fact, for me Barcelona has quite competitive depth. Plus, the talent of young players who are able to develop is much greater.
Now the decision and plan are up to Laporta to make Barcelona much tougher, more consistent and play better again. IMO, for me they need a new coach and apart from the new players, the team's needs and financial conditions are still an obstacle for Barcelona.
As for Real Madrid, there are no other words other than congratulations to Don Carlo and his team. They deserve to win the trophy this season, with all the consistency they displayed throughout their matches in La Liga.
Well, now Girona is in 2nd place. However, their position is not necessarily safe, it's just that there is a big possibility that Girona will advance to the Champions League next season.
