The Spanish La Liga yesterday was won by Real Madrid and the current Spanish champions have been receiving so many congratulatory messages from different individuals and clubs and as a Real Madrid fan, it is a thing of joy to be experiencing the moment with the club. However, I'm concerned about Barcelona as Real Madrid's biggest rivals and how possible it is to challenge Real Madrid for the Spanish La Liga title next season.

Barcelona's current manager Xavi Hernandez earlier this season publicly said that he's going to leave the club at the end of the current season but few weeks ago, he confirmed that he's not going to leave again but will remain at the club beyond the current season. Now, considering the quality of players at Real Madrid and the fact that Real Madrid are going to add more world class players to the team, will Barcelona be strong enough to challenge Real Madrid in the league next season

A big achievement indeed because this is the first time they are qualifying for the Champions League since they came to the Laliga League. After the victory over Barcelona I was actually still optimistic in the fact that Girona may probably not finish the league at the second position because they still have more games ahead of which Barcelona too aswell have got their own fixture ahead which isn't a tough fixture so it's very possible for them to win all of the fixtures and get back to the second position of which I doubt if Girona will be able to maintain a winning steak till the end of the season.

Girona will still have to defend that second position just like they had to do with the top position when t hey once got to the top of the table this season but we're unable to maintain the position long enough so I have that doubt still that they may actually get to be displaced from the second position by Barcelona sooner before the season ends that's by the time they will be done with their las four fixtures, except for some set backs Barcelona is a way bigger team that shouldn't be in contention with a team as Girona that's is likened to an underdog in the la Liga.

This strength Girona got of recent this season if we'll developed, it could grow into been a good team in the la Liga that will be contending amongst the elite's because they will be having the capabilities to be able to maintain a form around them in the la Liga probably from next season but the staying of Xavi in Barcelona is another motivation all together which I know Barcelona will be able to make it staying at the top of the table.

Thibaut Courtois has been Real Madrid's main goalkeeper for the last few seasons, while Andriy Lunin, who in the 2022-2023 season only played 7 times in La Liga, has not yet received the full trust of his coach Ancelotti. congratulation to Madrid because nothing else is standing in there way to win the la liga and if you look at last season even Barcelona been the defending champions were just lucky because even last season they were just struggling and this season they even played better but before that Madrid have already gone far to catch up with. and the 2:2 played was what surprised everyone but the second leg been that its going to be a home game for Madrid they might get lucky, but sincerely i don't think luck will work in this case because both teams are good, no matter how good the both of them are there must be a winner. and that is how difficult everything can be when it comes to leagues. and if Madrid should win then it will even give mbappe a lot of chances to even want to come to Madrid.

I think it was the right decision taken by Xavi because only he knows how to play as a strong team like when he was still playing football, of course that cannot be separated from his hard work so far, all the players have probably adapted and of course Xavi has to be more patient in this case where he might be able to bring Barcelona next season with better achievements, winning Laliga or UCL next season, no one ever knows but xavi has the opportunity to build Barcelona again to be better.

When girona have secured a place in the champions league next season of course there is nothing for them to worry about anymore at the moment, girona have 4 games left although they lose all four remaining games of course no longer affect their qualification to the champions league next season, I think girona will not care whether to end the position at the end of 2, 3 or 4 at the end of the season after now they have secured a place In the Champions League, the win over Barcelona certainly makes Girona quite safe this season in the La Liga table, I think for now Girona no longer has the motivation to win the game because it looks like they would prefer to secure their players from injury.
