Tomorrow is the 41st edition of the Supercopa, also an extra El Classico after Barcelona and Real Madrid managed qualifying to the finals. Both teams are in good shape as I have observed their last few matches, even though they played against team that aren’t as tough as top teams. Barcelona had a more challenging opponent which was Athletic Bilbao, managing to make it an easy win tells me they have better chances to win the finals this time.
Sportsbooks are choosing Madrid as favorite in this Final, but for me and my observing, I find that Barcelona players are more dominant with their gameplay, managing to create better chances with possession over the field.

Moreover, I feel like the stadiums in Saudi Arabia are very much better than the ones in Spain, giving the players more opportunities to perform better even with less pressure and encouragement from fans. If I still have a choice to gamble I would easily pick Barcelona in my bet even that I support Real Madrid. Ancelotti is very limited, I predict another loss for him as it happened in the previous Classico.

I think you make a very valid point there. A team’s statistics can only give an advantage to an extent when predicting the outcome of a match, especially when the teams are changing constantly. Rather than looking at the previous statistics, you’re absolutely correct that it’ll be more crucial to take a look at the team’s current performances. And judging from the current situation, Real Madrid looks a lot more formidable at this time.

Judging by their performances in the league as well as other international games, you can’t help but to admit that they’ve been rather impressive neither can you be able to argue about their strength. Thus, keeping up might be a little bit tough for Barcelona, yes it’s very true that one may not actually predict the outcome of football accurately but considering the current form, Madrid surely has more advantages.

I haven't heard anything in concrete terms from Flick. Whether he gave an interview where he was talking about Leao specifically, I would doubt it as I think he would be more like not commenting on it as Leao is a player of another club and his contract is running.

But if it is true that Barcelona is interested in Leao, how are they going to do it and where do they get money from to buy an expensive player like him? Leao won't be cheap. Neither transfer itself nor the wage they have to pay him, both will be expensive and they are making these plans considering all the financial drama they have to solve soon.

If Flick wins the trophy against Real Madrid, it would give him some time to bring Barcelona in line again for La Liga. It is not an unimportant opportunity for them to get their hands onto a trophy.

There is nothing to be certain that Real Madrid will surely win the final of Super Cup. Because we should need to understand that it is not a battle between a lay club. It's between the real Madrid and Barcelona both are the greatest clubs in the terms of performance, squad depth etc. So anything can be happen. If they don't win it on Sunday then it means two things:

Real Madrid is close to getting their strong team as their recent matches have show so you are right that there is no injury start at this time that will stop Madrid from getting good result. In other words, if they lose any match now, it will not because they are missing any great and indispensable player but should be seen as one of those things happen in football where the best sides don't win sometimes.
