When a match is played between Real Madrid and Barcelona, that match becomes much more exciting. That match in particular created excitement among many football fans and also generated excitement among the spectators on the field. But I don't feel the same feeling that I used to have when it was a match between Real Madrid and Barcelona because two of their best players have already left the club.

When Messi and Ronaldo played for these two teams, there was the most competition, but currently Mbappe and Lamine Yamal are playing for these two teams. They are also very high quality players but they cannot play like Messi and Ronaldo. So I think that the current El Clasico match will be exciting but not as exciting as it used to be.

Those were very special times because the two players were the two best of their generation and maybe top 5 of all time in the history football. Having them play for the best clubs at the same time in the same league was extraordinarily lucky for the fans. This is not the standard. You often have two world best players, but then they play in different leagues.

If we take Lewandowski and Mbappe as an example, these two could never get close to the level of excitement that the duel between Messi and Ronaldo has created. It was from another planet.

But at least the clasico isn#t as boring as two years ago. There is some more action these days, but still not as great and it will probably never be that great again in our lifetimes. In one season I think Ronaldo and Messi scored 46 goals and 50 goals respectively. Roll Eyes

Yes, that's El Clasico in the era (CR7 and Messi), it's hard to forget, even I personally always watch replays of their matches, there are many moments there that I don't get now, even so, El Clasico Vini jr and Yamal now presents a different attraction, I admit it's not as hot as its predecessor, but that doesn't mean football lovers will give up their intention to watch. In my opinion, the Madrid vs Barcelona derby is still the best so far of all types of derbies in European football.

The el classico match is one of the biggest matches in football, so far it has become a symbolic match where the rivalry is no longer just about points, but instead we have been able to see how the rivalry between madrid and barcelona has also been heavily influenced by culture and politics which makes the match the most intense match in the world of football, we must to admit that el classico is no longer as intense and exciting like as it was when messi and ronaldo were still involved, because nowadays we only see the rivalry between the two clubs, but when messi and ronaldo play, we are treated to a very strong competition between the two great players to show who is the best between them, and that makes the competition and the game between the two teams even hotter in every el classico match played.

The case of girona the game is not really in favour of girona and they just put there self in a very tight situation and this is like one of the terrible games have seen girona play because they have zero shots on target and there chances of winning was also zero because even with the extra time I already know that there is no way that they would have been able to win, and they are now maintaining the seventh position and there is still a possibility that they might come below thay again and this are people that are doing very well before that is last season and now there performance is as bad as what I don't even know because even Madrid were experiencing a lot and they were still able to fix things and they are now topping.

This game could end up going either way. Barcelona is as prepared as Madrid as far as this SuperCopa is concerned. In the semi finals both teams won their opponents. In as much as I won't be sure of Madrid winning this I am also not sure of Barcelona and this is a final which is to say a draw is not possible.

But for me I feel Barcelona has the upper hand I don't know for other but to stay safe I will be betting on both side of with the same amount which ever wins it then I will gladly take my winnings. For a certainty one team will just have to win the title and end the SuperCopa competition for the season.

Real Madrid has been after Trent for a while. What's up with that, is there any updates? He still seems to be in his last 6 months of his contract now.

This is like the only rumour related to Real Madrid recently as far as I can see on Transfermarkt. There was Khusanov too though but Manchester City already agreed with him and his team both. Anyways, probably Arne Slot would do his best to convince Trent to stay. Because normally he is a really useful player in attacking organizations for the team. But Trent's mind is preoccupied. He played terrible against Manchester United as well. Sad

Let's see how he will end up. By the way it seems like Ancelotti doesn't think of any other signing this month due to finding the squad good enough.
