I disagree. Xavi is not the best coach ever. He is a pretty weak guy who got lucky that Barcelona is more or less part of his name. As a player, he was an amazing midfielder, but I never saw him as someone who is a good coach. I see how a lot of people are celebrating him, but please compare him to Gurdiola. No way would he ever be able to be mentioned in one breath with Guardiola. Xavi is the worst case, but sadly they need him.

Xavi is a good manager and he has been in charge of Barcelona for a long time although his controversial decisions in some cases surprised us but still considering Barcelona's performance at the moment we have to accept that Xavi has managed to bring this team from a bad situation to a good one. Even though Xabi is a good manager, it would be foolish to compare this manager with legendary managers because some managers are far ahead of others in terms of categories. Pep Guardiwala, Zinedine Zidane, Luis Enrique and other managers have a different place and are definitely the best managers of all time. He has not been in charge for long so if we trust this Spanish and former Barcelona footballer Xabi he will surely develop his coaching career.

The league has only 5 more matches and Girona need to win one more match, to maintain their 13 points more than Athletic Club, to be eligible for Champions League next season.

Even though he has not yet been hired as Barcelona's new coach, the club already has a strong squad and i think that xavi is not even building the club from the bottom here. He came when barcelona has already good squad. Calling Xavi the best coach in the world seems strange. I agree with you, if not for the red card Barcelona could not have taken control of the game, it wasn't one sided as we all expected and these days Barcelona have lost that energy in them like the way they used to dominate their opponent making the game uncomfortable for them, I think it started after they were eliminated from the UCL. They don't have that complete squad to do that damage to opponents and without the red card it could have been a game Valencia would have won or they end up playing a draw.
I wonder why Xavi hardly start up the creator of chances and he brings him on at the last minute or let's say 80mins+ in some games, talking about Joao Felix. I feel Xavi haven't noticed that Joao Felix's presence do cause a lot of pressure to oppositions in every game he starts, in as much as he is a loaned player I think that chance should be given to him if Barca wants to win a game without this same pressure they had against Valencia.

There's no doubt Madrid would have that party. The real battle is for the runner up position between the two catalonian team. Girona rose as a prominent team at the start of the league and kept on losing steam while Barcelona proved small problems and controversies won't bring the team down. They won the last season, reached quaterfinals of Champions league and would qualify for another.
Valencia sure is a tough team to win against but the real deal that may decide the second position is the ultimate match between Barcelona and Girona on May 4th.

I also agree with some of what you said about Xavi, he is not comparable to Pep Guardiola. But Xavi is a coach who is likely to be better than many La Liga coaches for other teams this season and last season. Not all coaches are able to improve a team's game when the team is down due to poor financial conditions, but Xavi proved it and I respect him.

This season Xavi was only able to complete his mission in the quarter-finals of the Champions League, this has also improved compared to last season. In the second half, Barca was able to capitalize on the absence of one player to keep mounting pressure until Valencia's defense couldn't handle it. For Valencia, this loss is a big blow to their determination to feature in the Europa League next season. You could certainly expect Barcelona to lose that match if Valencia didn't lose a player to a red card, but how can you ensure Barcelona lose when Barcelona had 45+ in the second half and kept trying to score?

Barcelona were better in their own way today, they have clearly proven that Valencia deserved the defeat. Barcelona really dominated the match from the first half, they also recorded good statistics in the first half even though Valencia took advantage of most of their opportunities to end the match with a score of 1-2. In the end, Barcelona became more dominant in the second half due to the lack of 1 player in the Valencia squad due to a red card, this gave Barcelona more strength to build attacks and score 3 goals and win the match.

That red card ruined Valencia advantage and with Lewandowski being in form and concentrated, he was able to flip the game in the side of his team Barcelona after being late with one goal. He scored a hattrick and 16 goals in total in La Liga which is still far from his record with Bayern Munich.
Anyway this victory gave Barcelona a chance to chase Real Madrid even though they are far from them.

One of Barcelona's problems is playing against low block. They struggle to play against any team that is good defensively and hits them on the counter. The problem is, that most average teams in La Liga play this way. There was a time this season when they won so many games with a 1-0 scoreline. They struggled to score goals and that is because they don't have players that can dribble through the defence and attract most of the defenders to themselves leaving space for other players to open up and score.
Barcelona needs a lot of things if they're to be better next season and it's not looking like they'll get those things. A DM alone won't solve the problem, even though it would reduce it, but there are no world-class DMs in the world right now that can play as a single pivot excellently that would come cheap and Barcelona doesn't have the money to get an expensive player.

Yes, you are right. In the end, Barcelona's hard work was completed with a deserved victory. Lewandowski scored two additional goals in the second half, as well as his third goal in the second half. He had good form in this match and his last goal was proof of his quality in taking free kicks. Lewandowski has registered 15 goals as of April for La Liga, but is still too far away to hope to compete at the top of the top scorers table.

Barcelona really deserved to win this match even though they had difficulty breaking down Valencia's strong defense. Barcelona didn't give up and they continued to try and increase the pressure. Lewandowski really succeeded in being the hero of the victory and he deserved to be named the best player in this match. The red card was the reason why Valencia's performance dropped in the second half, but they really frustrated Barcelona before Lewandowski ended the match with his hat trick for a score of 4-2.

At least Xavi deserves to be grateful because his team's strategy and performance produced sweet results, but he almost failed to win if Pedri didn't stop Valencia's counterattack for his third goal.
