Digital age makes everything so convenient. You don't have to get dressed or leave the house anymore and people love it. You shop online, work online, watch movies online and gamble online.

Unfortunately for land-based casinos it's eventually going to be the end of them because people are getting lazy thanks to the Internet. Have you noticed that people subscribe to catering services now and they have all their daily meals delivered to the door. They don't even want to go out to a restaurant unless it's with friends or a date. This is happening to gambling and will eventually lead to these big casinos building their online brands and decreasing brick and mortar operations.
We have to admit that online gambling is increasingly developing with service and accessibility, but physical casinos are still not outdated even though they are still in development to evolve digitally, there are two things that never existed in online casinos, namely physical casinos feel more sensation when gambling compared to online and physical gambling opportunities. depends on pure luck, because some opinions state the loss ratio is higher than online gambling.

Land-based gambling will definitely evolve to implement some digital features, but the concept of land-based gambling is preferred by many gamblers because it avoids the risk of casino scams.

Maybe what will happen to physical casinos is the same that happened to television or books, people can reaches out to these two using the Internet which makes it easier for them to use and provides more options and variety of things but people still own televisions people still sell and buy them and companies still develop them, same thing for books you can read books from your phone directly but some people especially the enthusiastic ones, they prefer owning the book and reading it when it is between their hands because it is more fun to do so and it makes the experience of reading better and more realistic.

It is true that online casinos are the trendiest lately and the ones that receive more users and more players because we are in the Era of Internet and they make it easier for gamblers to play any game they want at any time and any place they wish while having multiple options and choices. But there will always be people who prefer on site casinos because it offers a better and unique experience and more benefits which might ensure their continued existence alongside online casinos.

Maybe the number of people who will keep going to physical casinos will decrease but there will always be the minority of people who will keep making them alive. And who knows what will happen in the future, industries continue to evolve and to adapt to human being's preferences and technologies.

Real casinos will never die.
Since gambling is supposed to be entertainment it is much nicer to be in a casino than staring at your screen. The atmosphere makes the difference.
Also where else can you get free drinks, free food and maybe even a free stay if you gamble enough. In an online casino you maybe get some bonus which you will lose anyway sooner or later.
In a real casino you eat, you drink, you have fun with other people. It is a much better experience and you have cash in hand if you win, unlike online with waiting for withdrawals or getting accused for multiple accounts at some casino site and then not getting paid.  Grin

Online is just convenient, that's it.
Yeah and it means that as long as they can provide for some entertainment, there won't be any problems at all. People do not go to casinos just to gamble, they go there to have some fun, you see a show, you drink some booze, you smoke some cigars, you meet some people, you stay at a good hotel (usually casinos have their own hotel) and plenty more other stuff.

This is why it is quite important to realize that we are going to end up with something that won't be as easy, it is going to take some time, we should consider that as a big problem. I believe that we are going to end up with a much better return, we need to consider that as money lost but a lot of fun had, so it was worth it and that's why physical ones will always stay.

Hey everyone,

As online gambling platforms continue to grow in popularity, I’ve been wondering about the future of traditional, land based casinos. With the convenience and accessibility of online betting, will brick-and-mortar casinos become a thing of the past, or will they evolve to offer experiences that can’t be replicated online?

Do you think they’ll manage to hold their ground, or will we see a shift towards exclusively digital platforms?

Until now, physical casinos are still popular with fans. You can differentiate, there are differences in what is provided by physical and digital casinos. As far as I know, physical casinos are still popular and still exist today. for example, for Asia Macau. in Macau, gambling remains a major destination for tourists and those who enjoy it. So far, they are still operating as usual except during the pandemic. What you need to know is, there are differences between physical casinos and digital casinos. physical casinos, offer something different to digital or online casinos. whether it's from comfort, the facilities provided by the casino, or all the other features that make people or gamblers still like physical casinos.

On the other hand, online casinos offer convenience and features that are available to make things easier for users without having to visit a physical casino. But sometimes, gamblers do both. I mean if someone wants to visit a physical casino, then they will do it whatever the reason. on the other hand, a person without having to visit a physical casino if they just want to play online. So far, I don't see or hear that physical casinos will become a thing of the past. after all, not all gamblers like online casinos. vice versa. So far, physical casinos will continue to exist even though they are also making innovations to attract visitors to remain interested in playing at traditional or physical casinos. although now, digital casinos are increasingly popular with many gamblers. However, both have their own fans and it's not uncommon for me to be able to play at physical or digital casinos.

No!!! Land-based casinos will not die if a country is legal and will still have many visitors, it's just that the experience will be different from online casinos.

Land-based casinos have become the oldest and still exist even though online casinos have been widely popular among the public not because it will leave land-based casinos but physical casinos will have many innovations even if they do not enter the digital era their technology will change.

I can't imagine how fun they are with land-based casinos that's what many are interested in until now, not without reason there are always people who when playing gambling want a crowd then it's land-based casinos.

Physical casinos will remain profitable as many gamblers still prefer this option and right now most of the physical casinos have their own version of online gambling site, so technically they are adapting the trend and that will makes them stay in business. If you will look at the local casinos in your place, you'll notice that most of them already have an option to gamble online, for sure they want to hit their target market as much as possible and follow the trend as well.

Casinos have a vibe: the energy, the crowd, the whole scene. Its not just the money, its the experience. And these days, with everything online, people are starved for that real-world buzz.

Casinos can win big, and I mean BIG, by being more than just slots and tables. Forget just gambling - we're talking shows, top-notch restaurants, maybe even classes on how to play. Its about that human connection.

And dont think they're going extinct, far from it. The smart casinos get it – people miss the personal touch. Its not about fighting the internet, it's about giving folks something they cant find on their phones. Thats the future. Its the Vegas experience revamped, and believe me, thats a winning hand.

Definitely it's the experience that is the key factor here why there are some people who choose to play with a land based casino over the online casino. If online casino has discrupted the land based casino, vegas would not anymore exist, but not only vegas exist they are still growing their revenue because people just love to experience the ultimate fun in gambling which can only be achieve when going to a physical casino.

let us consider this company for example...Las Vegas Sands..and look at its revenue growth.
https://www.macrotrends.net/stocks/charts/LVS/las-vegas-sands/revenue

Quote
Las Vegas Sands annual revenue for 2023 was $10.372B, a 152.36% increase from 2022.
Las Vegas Sands annual revenue for 2022 was $4.11B, a 2.93% decline from 2021.
Las Vegas Sands annual revenue for 2021 was $4.234B, a 44.01% increase from 2020.

That time, the online casino is already getting more popular as well, but the growth of his land based casino still is impressive.

No, they won't follow the trends because they know their market are only for socialize people, not for introvert people. I don't see they will able to successful in online casino because there are already many big online casinos out there, they might loss in online casino and profit in brick-and-mortar casino if they own both of them.

Brick-and-mortar casinos are still making money even though they might earn less after new normal.
With everything happens now, casino offline will still operate and will have their fans that comes to their casino. Even if online casino gets more popular, the offline casino will run their business and the casino in the famous city like Las Vegas or even Macau will have their fans. Maybe they will have the other strategies to makes their fans come back and still playing gambling using their machine because people still like to meet other people in the gambling games and compete to win some money. Casino gather many people who wants to have fun in their free time and spends some money to win some money. But it's not an easy jobs to have offline casino operate as usual because the competitions between each casinos will be tight and that will be solve by the casino owner.

In my opinion, traditional land-based casinos are unlikely to just fade away because what I know is that traditional casinos have been hereditary in development and are not easy to disappear quickly over time, whereas digital casinos are currently very popular and are in great demand by all groups of people. gamblers in general and not only that, apart from easy access, digital casinos have a variety of gambling games that are easy to play according to our abilities.

Currently, online gambling has indeed had much more significant development and progress than physical land-based gambling, but even so, there are still many well-known land-based physical casinos that still exist in certain of the country which have very many loyal customers.
Everything will be the same as technology where when there is one that is well developed and many people follow or use it, there will still be many people who use the old technology.
Likewise with gambling as it is today, many gamblers still choose to go to physical casinos to play or bet directly and can meet their friends so the fun will be much greater.
I think developments in physical casinos will only be in the types of games, they are developing various new games with more significant advances to be able to keep up with the online games that are currently provided by various providers.
And I still believe that physical casinos will still be able to survive in the future even if they lose in competition with online casinos.

No, brick-and-mortar casinos won't become a thing of the past because they offer more unique and exciting gambling experience, something that no online casino can offer. For example, when you visit such a casino (i.e. the land based casino), you have the possibility to gamble, spend time in a very beautifully designed environment that gives you a new, unique experience and makes you comfortable for being there. Being in home all the time is boring, right? Also, besides a good environment, there are too many hot girls that you can met in real life that wear expensive fragrances and have some conversation with them. You can't do that online, right? Maybe only on live blackjack tables but real-life experience is much better.

A lot of young generation may be into online gambling these days, but you can't take away the fact that land-based casinos will still have its own niche in this billion-dollar industry.

Alot of old individuals will still prefer traditional casino that are physical but as the young gamblers in this present generation gets old they'll continue to be using online casinos and not shift to the traditional casino. I think why traditional casinos still have some users is as we still have some individual from the old days when there was no online casinos but only physical casinos still gambling. Online casino hasn't dominated everywhere as some places still have more of physical casino users.

I believe soon land based casino will seize to exist, every individual will prefer to be gambling from online and not visiting a physical casino. Online casino has more advantage and experience than physical casinos as you have the option to play multiple games but the physical casino is limited to few games that they have. Online platforms can offer you casino and sport betting experience and it'll be entertaining.
Yes, here in my country there are still 2-3 land based casinos which still that having tons of gamblers who do keep on going into these places on which most of them are really that rich people.
You could really be able to see that there are tons of people who do play basing up into those vehicles that do park outside. You would really be having that kind of being ashamed when you do visit out
into these places as if you are really that too poor in compared into those people who are inside. This is why i could really be still be able to say that it is really that still relevant even how
far we've been able to reach out when it comes to technology and other similar aspects.

There would really be indeed those people who are really that interested on going into physical places just because they do really have that a great time in going into
these places on which they would really be that preferring into these platforms rather than going online. There's so much difference in between the two.

The socialization and the entertaining environment that you will get from bricks and mortar casinos, you can not get that from online casinos. While online casinos can be easily accessed and also can help in having privacy. You can see that they have different advantages also. Bricks and mortar casino will because of this still be existing.
The online casinos are more advanced than shops casinos, on shops casinos you have to take a walk and before you can gamble at the casino but when it has more to do with online casinos you see a lot of privacy are there. You can be able to gamble at your own comfortable time and no one will know what you are doing if you didn't tell them. Sometimes I gamble in front of my friends but they don't know what I am doing because I do it with my phone, that's the 1 advantage of online casinos while bricks casinos as you mentioned doesn't have such privacy. One thing I don't like the online casinos is that you can hardly stop a child from gambling while own a smart phone.

If could recall correctly there was a post made over here that also directly speak this same thing about how online and offline casino. There was a comment there I red and I so much enjoyed it saying "His grandma doesn't like playing online casino rather offline, while using land base casino you get interacted with many people and ease your boringness". This is indirectly saying that there are people who still values land base casino more than online irrespective of how convenient its to you, you must need a physical casino to interacts with people at your ageing moment where you need someone to be talking with you than keeping mute while play online casino's. In Summary, whatever feature owns by online casino there are some old people who still values the land base casinos.

Yes land based Casinos will exist in the digital age but we may see some effect for the online-based. Because now most of the people are towards online casino and one of the reasons is that it takes huge investment for starting land based gambling platform and land-based casinos can attract less people globally than online based casinos. On the other hand, online casino platforms can attract not only locals but users from the whole world and that is more profitable. But I think another thing is that the fun you get by physically gambling is not found in online casino, so I don't think land-based casinos will disappear in the future, I think both will exist.

I don't think physical casinos are a thing of the past the physical casinos are still there and they are doing great, In our country alone, physical casinos are doing great and because it's a profitable venture, our government is the one handling or running it, we still have the Vegas, the Macao, and other casino countries and they can still sustain.

They still have a huge market and no tall gamblers will choose online casinos, there will always be gamblers who will prefer to play at physical casinos because of the features only they an offer and the online one cannot.
