I believe it will only happen to coins with high popularity which can create big hype in the market even though it is a new project. I saw it on the SHIB token, who would have thought that a new token thought to be a meme coin that took advantage of the hype from Dogecoin could be listed on a large exchange.

Experts who select coins for free listing on exchanges are very well aware of what the hype is and around which coin the hype is currently being created. And if they see such a coin, they know for sure that the exchange will earn a lot of money on the commission, even if the listing is free.

Thanks for the replies.

There's one thing fishy.

I sent a reply back to the email and I haven't received a reply. However they left their telegram contact on the email and few hours back i contacted them via telegram and they have already started a group chat with me.

The telegram id is susan_bitmart and coinsbit_listing_manager

I have checked the email header and it looks legit as if came from these 2 exchanges. One is from china and another from US. one is using microsoft azure and the other google server.
That exchange is not too big to compare to the other exchanges, so maybe you can skip using them to list your token.
Maybe those 2 exchanges are legit, but the person who contacted you might be a scammer because we do not know if they come from the exchange or the other.
They will not use telegram to invite the developer to join in their exchange instead will use their email with the same domain of the exchange to ask you to join with them.
I think you can search for the other exchanges to list your token.

for a new coin is that possible? if the project doesn't have something big it definitely won't be possible.
or perhaps, the exchange with the large volume in question is the exchange with the fake volume.
if you are the developer of a project that deserves to be listed on a major exchange. you better do your best. Don't be fooled by what will take advantage of your project for the benefit of certain parties.

If you have 50k$ to be listed on an exchange, you probably invested in the creation of the coin and it's decent.

The exchanges don't take much risk by listing it for 6 months.

It's a part of their marketing trick and i guess if that's coming from the garbage exchange site that has fake volume. I just wanna know what name of exchange site that already offered you pay to be listed like that.
Any legit exchange site with real demand will never try to contacting you because the developers need them and the dev must sent their application to the exchange site team.
You should avoid such offer if that was coming from a fully manipulated exchange site.

...so there's nothing wrong with listing the big exchanges. it is a good opportunity, to create hype for your project.

Large exchanges know how to properly create a hype around new coins, holding various contests and airdrops. And if you fall into such skillful hands, then the success of your coin can be considered guaranteed. Therefore, such work should be paid. Just not always new projects can afford such expenses that are associated with a paid listing.

We have several of this wannabe exchange agents crawling telegram groups looking for the next prey, since they haven't reply via mail and they are quickly chatting you up through telegram there is a possibility they are not the genuine agent you are dealing with, i would suggest you contact the exchange in question and chat the admins up, perhaps they might have a clue if they are legit or not.

Hi

So 2 major exchanges with trading volume of 1 billion USD  to 2 billion USD have contacted us regarding a new project and they are saying they like our project very much and are offering to list on their exchanges. At first i thought its fake but looks like it is real listing manager contacting us.

They are saying the fees to list will be around 20k to 50k depending on package type and they require safety audit report, legal papers and etc.

Now my question is:-

1) Is it worth listing on their exchange when we already have decentralized exchanges like uniswap and pancakeswap where we can create a exchange within minutes.

2) in case we decide to list what kind of exposure are we getting from such exchanges?

3) we are still in our presale phase and presale is not even started, so we lack funds. Is there anyone to help and partner with us if you think listing on such exchanges will be beneficial.

Thanks

Exchanges can hardly make others interested in what you are offering. You will probably see increase in volume and get more exposure that can help you get listed higher in cmc. You would need to get listed on multiple small exchanges to get satisfactory exposure.

I would say focus on presale and marketing for now and worry about exchange listing once you have the funds. If you are going with big exchange you'll need one or two, if you are going with small exchange try to get atleast 6-10.

Since you're already on pancake there is no rush.

Large exchanges contact everyone, it is just money that they care about, plus they put in some volume requirement after a while as well and they just delist you because you are not traded a lot. Our project got like 12 so far, it is like 0.1 to 10 btc and why would you not list any project for that much money.

If they are asking money from you then you are not good at all, not good enough at least, and you should not be there neither, if you need to pay to get in then you should not be in. When should you be listed? When it is so big that they will list you for free without asking you, not like they need your permission in that case, they will list you in places you do not even know about, and that is when you know you made it, that is when it will be a great project. At the end of the day there is nothing wrong with paying for marketing but listing is not marketing, they are overpriced features that's all.

is still feasible and it is needed to increase investor confidence. has a lot of exchange support, especially big exchanges make the coin more well known.

The daily trading volume will increase, providing a greater opportunity to pump, and the marketcap of your coin will increase significantly.

so there's nothing wrong with listing the big exchanges. it is a good opportunity, to create hype for your project.

if you' don't sure whether they are REAL or not why don't you try to contact the exchange directly? this way you can confirm their identity and probably make you change your decision.

not to mention that they are only responsive in telegram make it shady AF, most of exchange gonna be very responsive when you send an email not to mention it's about business like that. in my opinion it's 90% scam but that's just based on my guts.

dex already suffice, no need to rush if the exchange that gonna list you is not a popular enough exchange that could be a big opportunity for your project, not to mention some indicates that the person who contacted you seems fishy,
if you truly think your project deserve to get listed in a big centralized exchange then it's better for you to contact those exchanges directly through the available listing contact, but for most of the part, uniswap is already enough if there's many liquidity in there, almost everyone know how to use it.

Hi the exchanges are:-

Bitmart and coinsbit

Thanks

What I can get from this is that they are not interested in the altcoin you are running, but they want to make a profit from the project you are building. just finish the presile you are working on and focus on your project to run.
bitmart and coinsbit are not big exchanges, let alone coinbit which has a lot of problems for users.

Again with your it looks legit. You have time to look into those details but you don't have time to talk to the admins of their official channels? That's too lazy of you and dangerous to your potential investors.

Here, I did the work for you. Their official telegram as posted on Coingecko.
  • Bitmart https://t.me/BitMartExchange (admins - @f_ken @MinhVN_Bitmart_Admin @z_bitmart_admin@Yommey_bitmart_admin) - susan isn't on the list
  • Coinsbit https://t.me/coinsbit_chat (admin for listing @Coinsbit_Listing) - Did you notice the person you are talking to added the _manager at the end? That's a classic scam method.

Since you are still in your presale phase, the best decision would be to decline at the moment. Your main focus should be on project development and not listing in some great exchange since you can easily get delisted when things don't work well with your project. In all my years in this industry, what I have realized is that quality and use case makes a project thrive and last longer in this sea of competition. While marketing and community are also important, they all follow well as you prove how great the quality of your project and its use case is. Besides, you already have pancakeswap and uniswap. Spending that kind of money just to get into an exchange in your current situation is just not worth it.

Hope this helps.

First of all, which exchange are they? I don’t think they are Binance/Kucoin/houbi as their listing fees are high most of the times. And if they are not such big exchange, I don’t think you should waste such amount. Instead, wait for the presale end and get listed any of three above. This exchanges are game changing  Grin
Dex are not that popular yet although in long term, dex have good future I think.

Hi the exchanges are:-

Bitmart and coinsbit
I wouldn't call them large exchanges. Now that you mentioned them, I would rather take my time than rush and list the tokens there. You can also try searching on the internet about fake trading volume and you would probably these two names appear. Again, this is assuming you are talking to the real exchange representatives.
Agreed, these are not exchanges people go crazy about when they see a new token listing. I agree that it is best to work on forming the right partnerships and networks in place to secure funding as you never know maybe you might find something better in the process -right?

1. that totally depends on what kind of exchange site. We can give you a clue whether that's a bad or good exchange site if you gave us the initial of the exchange sites that already offered you a listing.
that's a marketing dude and didn't you understand it?

2. The exposure totally depend on the how many people traded on such place. We can't deny that there are so many exchange sites were manipulating their volume.

3. You must think about that after you have done your pre-sale to get the fund if you wanna list your token on such exchange site

Hi the exchanges are:-

Bitmart and coinsbit

It is common practice for cryptocurrency exchanges to offer new projects a paid listing. But more often, these are the exchanges that you have specified and that do not belong to the top ones. There are many centralized exchanges where the listing of new coins is free of charge.  And one of these exchanges is gate.io. I think you should contact the representatives of this exchange.
