So 2 major exchanges with trading volume of 1 billion USD  to 2 billion USD have contacted us regarding a new project and they are saying they like our project very much and are offering to list on their exchanges.

the exchanges are:-

Bitmart and coinsbit
They are not large exchanges. You can see their ranks on coinmarketcap for exchanges: https://coinmarketcap.com/rankings/exchanges/
Bitmart: 90
Coinsbit: 64

On their websites, you have listing form and contact details.

Get Listed on BitMart
LISTING & IEO: [email protected]

I think it is a best way to contact them. You can not sure the guys contacted you really from Bitmart or Coinsbit exchanges.

Hi the exchanges are:-

Bitmart and coinsbit

Thanks
I can't consider them large or a major exchange. Binance and Kucoin are just some of the major exchanges for crypto if you ask most of the members here. Listing on major exchanges is a big jump for any project.

I think it is better to finish your presale first and make a road map to your future plans. Entering on a centralized exchange costs a large amount of money that's why some projects choose a decentralized exchange as their first option. I think it would be nice to focus on gathering funds first.

That will depend on yours. If your plan to get listed on the major exchanges, you can consider accepting their invitation, but you need to ask about the transparency to them and make sure that someone who contacted you comes from the real exchange.

Please make sure you check their email because sometimes the scammers can use typo domain names to trick their target. You can try to contact their support system and ask the truth. If they really ask you to join with them, you can continue the process if you really want to see the token listed on their exchanges.

I do not know how much the fee to listed the new token. Maybe you can ask the other major exchanges about the fee so you can compare the fee from both exchanges.

Two exchanges with $1-2 billion in volume willing to list for $50k is a thing that seems too tempting. I think the amount must be a lot bigger than that. Some exchanges accept 10 BTC or $1 million or more.
The next issue is how is the quality of your project? How big is the trading volume?
Most likely scammers are trying to monetize your project. Please double-check the information from the exchanges that are contacting you.

Hi the exchanges are:-

Bitmart and coinsbit
I wouldn't call them large exchanges. Now that you mentioned them, I would rather take my time than rush and list the tokens there. You can also try searching on the internet about fake trading volume and you would probably these two names appear. Again, this is assuming you are talking to the real exchange representatives.

I agree. Those exchanges are not really big. When you talked about large exchanges I thought on Binance or KuCoin. I also doubt that these exchanges really have such a high trading volume. Often this is just manipulated in that the exchange itself trades coin back and forth so that the volume increases. I would not spend so much money to be listed on these exchanges. Just the fact that they write to you already shows a lot.

Thanks for the replies.

There's one thing fishy.

I sent a reply back to the email and I haven't received a reply. However they left their telegram contact on the email and few hours back i contacted them via telegram and they have already started a group chat with me.

The telegram id is susan_bitmart and coinsbit_listing_manager

I have checked the email header and it looks legit as if came from these 2 exchanges. One is from china and another from US. one is using microsoft azure and the other google server.

Centralized exchange are very important in cryptocurrency, they act as custodian of good coin and create environment of safety so that their user can be free to  trade and invest without fear! As to whether it is neccesary to list your coin on centralized exchange, I think it is neccesary, it will give your project exposure and legimacy in the cryptocurrency community. You will also enjoy economic of scale from the user base of such exchange!

To boldly go where no rabbit has gone before...
Hi

So 2 major exchanges with trading volume of 1 billion USD  to 2 billion USD have contacted us regarding a new project and they are saying they like our project very much and are offering to list on their exchanges. At first i thought its fake but looks like it is real listing manager contacting us.

They are saying the fees to list will be around 20k to 50k depending on package type and they require safety audit report, legal papers and etc.

Now my question is:-

1) Is it worth listing on their exchange when we already have decentralized exchanges like uniswap and pancakeswap where we can create a exchange within minutes.

2) in case we decide to list what kind of exposure are we getting from such exchanges?

3) we are still in our presale phase and presale is not even started, so we lack funds. Is there anyone to help and partner with us if you think listing on such exchanges will be beneficial.

Thanks

First of all, take caution. If those exchanges contacted you through telegram, it's 99% scam, and they'll ask you for some deposit which "they promise you get back in few months", but reallity is, as soon as you send the funds, it's gone.
Big exchanges have no need to contact projects, projects contact them

Hi the exchanges are:-

Bitmart and coinsbit

Thanks

This exchange are regarded as decent, good enough for any start up project but where you should be more concerned is the type of offer they are proposing to your project, how will it be beneficial in both short and long term, to me i feel there is a hidden strings attached to this offer, i may be wrong since i have no knowledge how this offers are being done, but you should probably do an extensive research to know how this will benefit your project, and like what other members said, check that this are not scammers contacting you in disguise as team from this exchange.

[Nope]No hype delivers more than hope
What I believe, the top exchanges will not come first to customers offering about registration. Instead they (who have offered you) are just 3rd party listing agents who want to help fulfill the requirements and accompany the listing process. Actually they can list on any exchange, depending on the money you have.

Back to your question:
1) Is it worth listing on their exchange when we already have decentralized exchanges like uniswap and pancakeswap where we can create a exchange within minutes.
You should not think about worthness, but back to your target achievement. If you are satisfied with DEX, why would you want to list at CEX?

2) in case we decide to list what kind of exposure are we getting from such exchanges?
Almost all projects want a top exchange because of the interest of the community or supporters.

3) we are still in our presale phase and presale is not even started, so we lack funds. Is there anyone to help and partner with us if you think listing on such exchanges will be beneficial.
Maybe, beneficial or not your project is not because it has been listed on a top exchange, but rather because of the background and development of your own project. Potential partners will probably understand that the exchange doesn't really care what effect it has on your next project once it's listed. They have got your money.

uniswap is a major decentralized exchange in the Ethereum ecosystem, pancakeswap is a decentralized exchange on the Binance Smart Chain. Are you planning to work on 2 blockchains?
You are mistaken that you can create an exchange in a few minutes, because market coins or stablecoins need to be added to the pool. If your pool has $ 100,000 in liquidity, then $ 50,000 of the shaft needs to be added from your funds.
It is not a fact that adding your token to the exchange will give you a huge demand, negotiate an IEO.

How did you know it's real? Did you verify it with the exchange support team as shown on the website? Make sure you are talking to the right person because scammers are the only people/group I know that approaches projects for listings. They usually do it on telegram.

1) Is it worth listing on their exchange when we already have decentralized exchanges like uniswap and pancakeswap where we can create a exchange within minutes.
Can you tell us which exchange is this? Assuming it is legit, ask your community if they want a centralized exchange. Some of them might prefer selling their tokens through an order book which would allow them to set the price unlike on Uniswap and Pancakeswap.

2) in case we decide to list what kind of exposure are we getting from such exchanges?
To start with, their user base.

3) we are still in our presale phase and presale is not even started, so we lack funds. Is there anyone to help and partner with us if you think listing on such exchanges will be beneficial.
Why can you not set aside funds from presale to pay for exchange listing? Also, why wouold you pay an exchange in advance? Are they offering you an IEO?
