Interesting! We see other bounty programs take up about 1-3% of the total issued tokens. What percentage do you think is appropriate?

Maybe you are talking about the entire ecosystem incentive. For that we have allocated 30% of total issued tokens into community building incentives. But please note this will be a much larger ecosystem and this bounty program will be the start of that. This bounty program we have now will be 2% of total issued token, which is about 7% of the community building incentive tokens.
