I'm having a serious doubt on the profitability of the September batch (L3+). the LTC price is at 40USD not mooving, the difficulty is increasing like crazy. As of today the roi for an L3+ shifted from 33 Days to 3Months.....
What do you think?

Yes thats how difficulty works. Thousands of these units are shipping out, and thousands more will ship out by September.

New people here really need to do some research...FYI a normal ROI for ASICs is in the 6-10 month range. If you get anywhere near that range before the next 1TH miner kills your machines you should be thrilled.

Lets cross our fingers the 1TH miner will not be launched this year. Otherwise most of us will be screwed.
What would the LTC difficulty be around end of September?

You wont because Bitmain would have to clear all L3+ stock, including upgrading all of their hashnest units. Good bet that will happen in the new year, but dont see it any time before that. No reason to either. They dont have competition.

My expectation is for difficulty to be around 750k come September.

has something major happened on the network somewhere?

The ROI from Prohashing has gone TINY the past day or so?

Altcoins are  gaining more than 6% because of the ongoing fork of Bitcoin o top of that Dash, ETC, and LTC stable thats why you see tiny ROI.....

it was double yesterday  Shocked

Nothing new will happen for over a year. And no imaginary 1TH miners.

Guys - trying to get some opinions on a few things.

Not sure what I should be getting paid out in LTC or BTC.

By this i mean, the Nicehash calculator reckons 1 L3+ will generate around 7.2 BTC  a year, now given the way the price is going with BTC, the chances are this in £ will double in the next year maybe?

LTC is still LOW and undervalued i know that, but realistically will it ever get off the line and start moving towards those high figures do we think?

What does every 1 else get paid out in on Prohashing?

LTC is undervalued. And always buy low/sell high. So take LTC, i was doing it also when i was minning on Prohashing. But their profitability has gone down after BCC pump ended. Anb their BTC payout threshold is quite high, i think it was near 250$ or so.

Is there a more profitable place than prohashing for LTC?

When is the new L3+ batch becoming available to order?
And what is the average life expectancy of said miner?

Most of the ASICs that they are selling are switched on now...for 'testing' purposes probably. Grin

They will be switched off to deliver to you shortly.

I finally received mine.

I swear, I'll never use UPS again for an international shipment.  Tracking shows the shipment received from the sender on 22-July, and I'm just now receiving it on 31-July.  I had to call them 4 times to get it dislodged, and each time the rep didn't seem to have much of a clue.  Plus I had to pay the "customs brokerage fee" ($18 per miner) twice; Once on the phone so they'd put them on the truck, and again to the driver so he'd hand them over.

I've not plugged them in yet.  I plan to this evening.

Hello, I am waiting 5 unit in the end of september and interesting which online wallet should I use for litecoin?
thanks

I use bitcoin-qt and litecoin-qt for my online wallet options. (i confuse easily they are pretty much identical) Smiley

https://litecoin.org/ are you using this website as a wallet?
I am beginer, so I am interesting everything,
thanks again

I have a 'hot wallet' to move stuff and bitcoin-qt or litecoin-qt on my laptop to move crypto around

for cold wallet storage...(stuff I want keep safe long term) I have 'virgin' paper wallets ..who have never touched the internet Smiley

The main ones in a 'safety deposit box' at the bank Smiley

thus I dump stuff to hold long term to them (in plastic in a safety deposit box) ..that means ONLY funds can go in not out....

the hot wallets move the stuff back and forth

a paper wallet will get made to move significant amounts 1x to either the hot wallet or the cold storage wallets for payments etc

I always clean my hot wallets out to a fresh virgin wallet if it gets in the 100's of $$ to be safe

I never leave ANY crypto on my laptop or on www.coinbase.com or any other exchange

I might have 200 to 300 usd on a blockchain wallet for a quick buy of something (but realize this is not safe) but that is about it

in other words, I use paper wallets to move funds accordingly to not keep any crypto on my laptop wallet nor in a hot wallet I can't afford

in that I REALLY REALLY try to HOARD BTC and LTC....and/or get ASIC equipment...my needs are modest and I only have to look at any of this

moving about in paper wallet action maybe once every 4-6 weeks..the mining dumps into a virgin paper wallet for eventual use with the above

odd perhaps...but works for me .and more importantly if it hits the 'cold paper wallets' 'Virgin' never touched the inet' in the safety deposit box

well....that stops me from spending too much ..it goes there ..it stays there (mainly because it keeps me honest and a pain in the ass to go

and move etc.....guilt of saving via the use of paper wallets and safety deposit boxes ...saves me much crypto 'bored' in the middle of the nite Smiley

anyway what I do...but again...my needs are modest and mostly hoard ..either for ASIC equip or into the cold storage wallet so this is NOT

too inconvenient for me Smiley

interesting point, but if I were u, just get a freaking physical wallet. Ain't that expensive.
get 2, one to put your hard earning tokens and another one for daily use
