The prices are going down today. I expect that it is a big dump which we are talking too. Hope that LBC will soon recover from this dump. x3 in a month is very potential but we need to move back 1 step in order to move forward 10 steps. Currently, I am holding more than 2 bitcoin worth of lbc. LBC should be in the top 20 currencies
You know BTC price is now 2900?
And when BTC price rise, all alt price drops.... what is new in this? Expected stuff

And by the way to that guy, 2 BTC is nothing i hold much more than that. But it's been going up and down, like 2weeks ago it climbed to 0.3$ and dumped to 0.14$. But it's important to HODL, i've been doing so for 2-3months now and it has paid off GREATLY. And i will continue to do so.

I hate to be this person, but LBRY people were not the friendliest to me when I was asking them a few questions. I believe their words were
"you really need to know some basic coding in order to use the beta, you should come back when its open to the public - I don't think this is for you"
and this was AFTER I had blasted a referral link to the masses on my twitter and gotten them at least 10 signups.
Safe to say I'm bitter

Hello this is probably due to the mass influx of newcomers to the slack and community. Note that this is still closed beta, which is meant for developers who can participate and contribute to the project, rather than babysitting and helping out with how to code.
There are questions that get asked so many times a day so i guess people are fed up with it(there are more than 5k users on Slack, one of the biggest of all Crypto).
You know what happened... some idiots from "thailand"!!! came to LBRY and stole a lot of the reward money by creating fake IDs and telling they were new etc
So now on the coin slack they are very strict and downright rude sometimes
But I understand... money kept for community help and development was stolen by few greedy scums from third world country
It was meant to go to testers and people who help, but thanks to some people spamming referal links it went to wrong hands.
When everyone comes in begging for free coins, I'm allowed to be a bit rude. No one reads anything or does research before asking, expect everything on a silver platter.

I agree. Smart ones or perhaps those who invest some time into research before buying have been slowly accumulating it. The majority who just buys what others are buying have yet to come and most people nowadays are like this.

that's my account balance history, my credit before i create a channel identity and upload a video is 40, the app told me to deposit 10 lbry for upload and create address, so i deposit 20 LBRY, there's said "This LBC remains yours and the deposit can be undone at any time."
Can i have my deposit back again ? oh yeah one more, after i create channel identity i still can't claim reward, is it because this app still in development so there is bug ? thank you

I still think though that the first page should be updated to give more insight into what it is all about.

That was probably me, and I apologize for being so blunt. I did not say "basic coding", but something along the lines of that you need to understand basic crypto and software concepts. Judging based on the questions you were asking, I felt like my response was warranted. Also, please realize we have been getting an influx of users because of the invite system, so we tend to get the same questions over and over again because people don't take the time to do their research and reading. Since we are still in a closed beta, we need users to are comfortable with the technologies in order to maximize both our experiences.
