for me dota is better than lol because dota games are always innovative .
I don't play MOBA but I will go for Dota since Dota is one of the first game to make MOBA genre popular.
Two addictive games but in my opinion dota is much better than LOL. In dota you need have a better strategies in LoL less strategies you need to win. But these two games was the most played games of the gamers.

i am a player of League of Legend and i really love to play this one, but i will go with DOTA with all of the aspects of the game.
Balance is the best that DOTA have, in LOL once you were gap in level and item you will have a hard time to win unlike in DotA you just need to have teamwork and good strategy.

yeah, it's the basics. dota has a better gameplay, that's why it's more popular. lol is just for guys who can't play hard and learn all the dota features
