Dota 2 is harder and more interesting for me. I don't like LoL graphics and also don't like ranks system.
But both of this games are great!

I like playing DOTA 2..... I'm the best there is....
every human being has his own perception, now both have their own weaknesses and strengths and both have their own fans and players, and are very good in terms of the better between the two personally have their own advantages..
I definitely prefer Dota, albeit I have a huge bias as I've played it on and off since the first versions back during the wc3 era. Anyone who played on Garena surely will remember the "tunnel me" spam prior to games

DotA/Dota 2 Forever baby! For me this is the most balance MOBA right now, no need to put the runes, or whatever power ups. No need to worry building your stats because you only need skills and teamwork here. SEA servers might have bad players but still DotA is the game that you can't let go no matter what happen.
i choose dota because dota is the original..league of legend is good also..but i need to choose dota... dota for life...
For me LoL, I love the UI and the champions 
Dota all the way. I played both games. Dota is so much more complex.

I took a 5 month break from LOL, and it's got me hooked again haha. That game is too much fun
LOL VS Dota , do you think which one is better !! For me , LOL is better because I like the UI and UX. LOL character , interface is better than dota and the playing experience is much more better than dota ! ( Just my own opinion )
For me my opinion Dota is better than League of legends , becuase of the difference on the gameplay and character's , because in LoL the map is kind a small , characters you will need to earn it just to buy a heroes and you will need a very long time to play and earn that character instead on dota just log in and play you will have a free character just like that and I prefer dota becuase I enjoy and love it.
If you want to play DOTA at least on average level you have to spend hundreds of hours to practice. LoL is much more friendly but has a sick community. I'm not choosing any of that games but if I had to, I would stop on DOTA.
I really love using Malphite and Ryze before they nerf both of them.
