This was a round in which the big teams didn't lose, although some of them lost points thanks to the draw they had. I'll start by talking about Milan who played against Verona, on paper Milan were the favorites to win this game because of the big difference that existed between them and their opponent. and this big difference was proven on the field, where Milan came out with a very comfortable victory at the end of the game. Milan scored 3 goals and conceded just 1 goal. With this victory, Milan moves to second place in the table, passing Juventus and I believe that Milan will finish in second place.

And speaking of Juventus, they had a game against Genoa, in a game in which on paper they were seen as the favorite, but on the field they showed that they did not deserve that favoritism. the game ended in a goalless draw, with this draw juventus dropped in position and is now in position number 3 and in the last 5 games juventus won in just 1 single game, I keep asking myself what the management of juventus is waiting for to fire them the Juventus coach? It is very clear that with this coach Juventus will not be champion, next season it will also be the same disaster if they continue with him as coach

as expected from roma, they won. In this game they were seen as the favorites and it was quite obvious that the reason was because the difference between them and the opponent was a very big difference, the opponent in the last 4 games only had one victory and they are fighting to not be relegated. That in itself was already very clear that Roma's chances of winning were very high and that's what happened, Roma knew how to take advantage of the opportunity to play against a weak team and won the game and with this victory they continue in the fight to finish in a position access to the European Champions League

Finally, the last game was Inter's game against Napoli. inter was seen as the favorite and I even bet on inter to win in that game, but although inter scored the first goal, when the game was nearing its end, inter conceded a goal to equalize. with this the game ended in a draw. I commented in the past that inter have problems when they reach the milestone months they start to lose against unstable teams, after losing against atlético madrid, I shouldn't have bet on inter, it was a sign that they could be entering a sequence of bad results . It is true that they will be champions. but the difference in points could be small in relation to second place

Genoa are actually on the pitch with a formation that they don't use often (3-4-2-1). As far as I can see after doing a small research they have used it only 2 times so far. But even their usual formation (3-5-2 flat) includes 3 defenders. They are really playing fearlessly against all of their opponents with a defense line like this.

I can't say the number of goals they have conceded so far is very parallel to this choice though.  Tongue  But they have done a good work against Juventus so far. Low scoring matches are seen by Juventus as usual but I hope they can manage to win in Turin anyway. Do you expect another point loss today?

Juventus unfortunately did not manage to win this match despite playing at home, Genoa despite not playing very well managed to bring home 1 precious point, Juventus on the other hand played an embarrassing game in my opinion, very nervous and foul players, and the next match will have to do without their best striker Vlahovic due to expulsion, now the gap from Milan becomes 3 points. I wonder why the management still hasn't taken the decision to relieve Allegri from leading Juventus.

For me, both teams have the same chance in this match, meaning that the game performance in the first half was very balanced and it is possible that whoever managed to score a goal in the second half would emerge as the winner. Low scores are of course a routine result for Juventus this season, where their attackers are not too hungry for goals or have difficulty scoring many goals.

On the other hand, Vlahovic is a big focus in this match where his contribution to helping Juventus secure 3 points in Turin is really needed. Genoa want to end their bad streak in the last 2 matches, so for this match they changed their formation slightly to achieve maximum results.

What you say is very true, it should be noted that many are thinking that Inter's defeat in the UCL by Atlético could affect the team's performance, due to the emotional state of the players, but basically Inter is the undisputed leader of Serie A , are in the first place, so that they dethrone them from there? It is very difficult, what I can say about Juve is that they have received very Serie A severo treatment, they have had very strong bans and that affects the team in general, really to get ahead like this with so many obstacles it is something that It's not very simple, really not easy at all, the only thing I want is for them to at least finish in the first 4 places, I want to see them in the UCL next season, the truth is I wanted Juve to emerge as champions this season so they could prove Despite the ban they received, they could move forward, but if they finish in the top 4 it would be great.
Talking about Inter Milan, it seems there is no need to discuss it anymore because there is no hope of winning another prestigious title apart from only hoping to maintain first place which is currently being maintained by Inter Milan.
I just want to discuss more interesting things about Juventus currently experiencing a consistent decline after a long time since the start of the season trying to reach first position but in the end losing it all and for me reducing points in the past is not a problem this season because the proof is that Juventus is still able to get a position the best at the moment and the only small mistake that Juventus made was failing to maintain consistent performance of the players so that in the end they did not get satisfactory results and were even shifted by Milan.
Juventus still has hope that as long as they can make good use of the remaining matches, it will be easy to get the runner up position because the point difference with Milan is very close.

I personally think Juventus really doesn't have a strong squad who could fight for title for such a long period. Sure , they will be able to catch top 4 ( with a bit of luck ) and catch another chance to play UCL next year , but then again , I don't see them having any importance performance in UCL with current squad they have.

Inter on the other hand , are having a great squad who showed us they can reach UCL finals like last year but also this year where they just got eliminated by ATL.Madrid but overall , no one can stop Inter from winning Scudetto this year but also next year as well.  Grin
Squad depth is definitely important, but they weren't playing in many cups, so it felt like they could maybe do it. A bit of unlucky injuries and such caused some troubles for them, which resulted with them losing a lot of games. Obviously this also had a benefit of finding out some new good young players that they were forced to use, but that means those young players wouldn't get the time otherwise, so it benefited them too. I think next season they will care more about depth, plus they will be in UCL as well.

Also, I would like to point out that while Juventus had some troubles, Inter was insanely good during this period as well, yes Juventus didn't win many, but Inter didn't lose at all, that's just way too good from them.

precisely, not playing any cup, how did they manage to lose their athletic form so quickly? I don't want to defend anyone, I make rational and logical deductions, we have a physical and athletic preparation problem
It's no coincidence that last season there were so many injured people... could it be a coincidence? I do not think so

I think the main problem lies in the athletic preparation and trainers, for me Juventus have a very strong team and I honestly don't understand why this big gap with Inter. I've never liked Allegri as a coach, and his tactical vision leaves a lot to be desired. I hope Juventus change coach next year

For me things are very clear in Serie A , but what I really want is for Juventus to be able to participate in the UCL again, it is something that the team needs, I am sure it will greatly increase the team's morale of course. I would like Allegri to leave because Allegri has always been Present in that team in good and bad times, so it would be good if they could once again have that great privilege of participating in the UCL and hopefully achieve good places and advance as much as possible. that they can in the UCL without ruling out what they can win.

I expected Juventus to perform better in this Champions League season, especially considering their popularity in Serie A. They had the chance to be ambassadors for the league, but they fell short of expectations. It's disappointing that no Serie A club made it to the quarter-finals. Unlike the Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga, and Ligue 1, Serie A lacks representation at this stage.

I had hoped to see Juventus representing Serie A, but that didn't happen. If they want to be part of the next UCL, the opportunity is there for them, but they need to step up. They must decide whether to improve their performance and represent the league or give way to other clubs like Inter or AC Milan who might better represent Serie A in the Champions League.

While Intermilan were still able to be in the top 4 even when their team had a lot of financial problems, and I remember when Intermilan even had to sell their best players after getting the Scudetto just because to balance the Club's finances, even now Compared to Juventus, Intermilan did not have strong fnances in their team but still they were able to survive quite well in the league,  speaking of the Champions League, of course they have played quite well in Maintaining the lead, but Unfortunately the rise of Atletico madrid made them have to be eliminated from champions league.

Once in the running for their first Scudetto in four years, a recent nosedive has left Juventus trailing league leaders Inter Milan by 17 points - and last week's events allowed AC Milan to overtake them in second place.

Despite fighting back from behind to lead 2-1, through goals from Andrea Cambiaso and Arkadiusz Milik, reported Juve transfer target Teun Koopmeiners then completed his brace to help Atalanta snatch a draw; meanwhile, Milan scraped past Empoli.

In the process of winning just one of their last seven Serie A fixtures, Max Allegri's men have been unusually open at the back, and the former clean-sheet specialists last kept any opponent goalless back in late January.

The Bianconeri have conceded twice in each of their last four league matches - the last time they did so for five games straight was more than 60 years ago - and only four teams have earned fewer points since the end of January.

Allegri's future is still to be decided, and with several capable managers on the market this summer, his second spell in Turin is not sure to continue past the end of the season.

With both second place and the Coppa Italia still up for grabs, though, there is still plenty left to play for, so Juve will now aim to get back on track by extending their long unbeaten streak at home to Sunday's visitors

This is Juventus' main problem actually, yes. They can't build a squad that is competitive enough for the Serie A title. We can just compare their players to the current players of Inter. The quality difference can be easily seen. We can even tell this by giving an example such as having a reliable scorer. Juventus don't have a scorer like Lautaro Martinez.

Juventus' being able to score much lower amount of goals than Inter this season shows how much they need more productive players. Juventus officials had better make their transfer plans by thinking about this serious issue first.  Sad

I too had not missed this parameter
it is no coincidence that Juventus wanted Lukaku and would have sold their primary striker, but the deal was not successful, because Juventus also wanted money, which was not granted

Congrats to Inter already on their Serie A title this season!  Grin  Last night must be really sad for them though. While they were comfortable in the Serie A they were able to focus more on the Champions League. But they are out of the tournament from now on. Becoming the Serie A champions is still going to be a big achievement for Simone Inzaghi though.

He has one more year remaining on his current contract now. I think moving on with him for a longer time period would be a good move for Inter. When it comes to Juventus this is still progress compared to the previous season. However Allegri needs to do more than that to become champion.  Smiley

and yes, I have to admit it too, they had a frightening continuity and an equally strong resilience
the only match in which they failed was the one that took them out of the Champions League, honestly I didnt expect an epilogue like that, but it happens
they are now focused on winning and taking the scudetto

The calculations are easy to make, you don't even need a calculator. There are exactly 10 matches to go before the end of the championship, so there are still 30 possible points at stake, Inter have 16 more than Milan who are second, so there are 14 more to decree the winner (obviously if both Inter and Milan maintain this gap), so today there are only 5 matches left. In 5 matches the derby against Milan falls. Who knows, friends, who knows!

so let me understand for a moment, if somehow Inter continues to win it could happen that the decisive match that gives mathematical certainty is against Milan, the hated cousins and that the second star arrives against them. This is truly an insult! LoL

honestly I didn`t do the math with a calculator in hand, I miss that
but surely mathematical security will arrive soon with all these advantageous points

surely @Lillominato89 knows when this will happen, he will have done the calculations, so we ask him directly

Since AC Milan is 16 points behind Inter Milan, AC Milan will only be able to maintain its position as runner-up and there is no chance for AC Milan to be able to shift or surpass Inter Milan points tally.
We all know that there are only 10 matches left in the competition to finish and determine who will emerge as champion, so it is clear that there are around 30 points that each team, including AC Milan, is fighting over to be able to catch Inter Milan.
But I will also say that Inter Milan has the same opportunity where there is possibility of 30 points being contested to be able to maintain the point difference from AC Milan so that it remains far away, after all Inter Milan has really become champion candidate for this season and there is no none of the team were able to prevent it.

Hahaha, there will be matches in the future that will put AC Milan under series of pressures that will make it difficult to win, the matches against Inter Milan, Juventus and also Roma are matches that could make AC Milan fail to get full points.

Dear friend, it's true that Inter has a 16 point lead over second place but it's also true that until mathematics condemns Milan or Juventus to second place we can't celebrate any Scudetto won, don't bring bad luck please haha. I'm waiting for 21 April to celebrate the Scudetto hoping to win it in front of Milan Grin
In Champions League it will be tough, but who knows! Maybe luck will assist us. But it's more important to take the coefficient to get the extra slot next year

come on, come on... with a Juventus in physical decline and a Milan that has never started seriously, I don't see who can compete or challenge Inter for the scudetto
as it was for Napoli last year, when I said it openly, this year too I openly say that Inter, however crazy they may be, will win the scudetto with 99% certainty
