I guess, that user keeps own previous rank, after deleting posts, only in case if he login never more, or other option he gain post count again in same 14 day period.

I'm finally eligible for Legendary status at the next activity add up in a fortnight. Obviously I expect to wait a long time still but it's nice to finally nearly be eligible.
Am still a Hero at 910 activity... maybe next fortnight... 
I'm in the line as well. Not sure when we'll ultimately break in.

In fact, that guy didn't delete his posts, he actually replaced their contents with "deleted", "removed", "locked", and so on. And I don't get what you might see wrong with that per se, irrespective of deleted content...

I've been able to scrape some interesting information indirectly about pornco.in such as from TomatoCage u=37522 and Raxe.io u=301032 posts amongst others...

If you look at their Stats page he has a bar on every single hour of the day. This means that they had at least 24 posts. Also, all of the bars are different heights, which means they have made more than 24 posts (as they has made more posts at certain times than others). I believe that they only changed the ones they couldn't delete to 'deleted', 'locked' and 'removed'.

If I ever reach legendary I will ask theymos to reduce my rank to newbie, reason will become apparent when the day it arrives.

You don't have to ask theymos because you can reduce your posts yourself but it will take some time.
I suspect that even if you delete all your post history, your rank won't go down. Since this seems to be what the poster you replied to actually wants, i.e. not remain Legendary with a few posts but turn into a Newbie member again (for his own reasons)...

I've just read another thread in Meta with several members suggesting another rank is needed above Legendary because Legendary rank is now becoming quite common here.
