Chances are very small, but there is a tiny chance for me to hit legendary status at the next activity change. redsn0w did it directly. I only don't think I am that lucky as well.
what is the benefits of being legendary? Bragging rights? I deleted over 2k posts would i have been legendary? maybe but who cares....A few extra coins on my name. This is not important to me it's over rated.

I was an asshole plain and simple.....While not all my posts were negative or bad i felt i needed a clean slate So i decided to Erase them all.
I can work my way to Legendary status without all the BS and drama like before. But even at Legendary status there are no perks so i'm in no rush at all.
Wouldn't it have been easier to start with a brand new account?

No benefits really, your signature pay as a Hero Member wouldn't differ much if at all to a Legendary Member so yeah as you said bragging rights & a blue coin by your name is the only difference.

If you register on the last day of an activity period you "safe" 13 days. If you bank a few posts you also get all 14 activity on the first day of the last period so you "safe" another 13 days. In total you need 758 days of consistant posting or 2 years and 28 days.
The highest activity required for legendary is 1030. Which is 74 activity periods of 14 points each (totalling 1036). Again you can "safe" as above so a total of 1010 days or 2 years and 280 days.
Does it mean in about 3 years, there will be over 500,000 legendary members if they all post and gain activity?
Yes theoretically, but possibly only a small percent of that 500k people will still be active or even into bitcoin by them
We will just have a new rank created, if there are too many legendary members.
At one point, hero was the top rank. Legendary was created when there were too many hero members.

Legendary accounts seem to be becoming a hell of a lot more common now, I see newly upgraded Legendary members all the time now. I'm still a damn Hero & will be for a long time probably.

Nothing exceptional will happen to your account, TBH. Because the highest rank is only Legendary at the moment.For instance, theymos has more than 2k activity points. I don't think there is a non-staff member that have more than theymos activity points, though.
